Praying the Word!

Hey friend!

In times of trouble or in times of thanksgiving, we are encouraged to pray and praise the Lord! So today, I just want to share a prayer from Ephesians 1, to encourage you with the Word of God, and to remind you that we, those who believe in the son of God, are “predestined for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. ”

"I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, ¹⁹and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, ²¹far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.Amen" (Ephesians 1:3-12/17-23)

Declare the Word of God over you today! Declare these words over your family, your situation, over any discouragement in may have feeling lately! The Word of God is powerful to renew our minds and fill our hearts with a renewed hope!

Orando a Palavra!

Ei amigo! Como você está?

Em tempos de dificuldade ou de ação de graças, nós somos encorajados a orar e louvar ao Senhor! Então hoje, eu resolvi compartilhar essa poderosa oração de Efésios 1, parate encorajar com a Palavra de Deus e para lembrá-lo de que nós, aqueles que cremos no filho de Deus, fomos “Em amor, predestinados para sermos adotados como filhos, por meio de Jesus Cristo, conforme o bom propósito da sua vontade, 6 para o louvor da sua gloriosa graça, a qual nos deu gratuitamente no Amado. “

"...não deixo de dar graças por vocês, mencionando-os em minhas orações. Peço que o Deus de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, o glorioso Pai, lhes dê espírito de sabedoria e de revelação, no pleno conhecimento dele. Oro também para que os olhos do coração de vocês sejam iluminados, a fim de que vocês conheçam a esperança para a qual ele os chamou, as riquezas da gloriosa herança dele nos santos e a incomparável grandeza do seu poder para conosco, os que cremos, conforme a atuação da sua poderosa força. Esse poder ele exerceu em Cristo, ressuscitando-o dos mortos e fazendo-o assentar-se à sua direita, nas regiões celestiais,muito acima de todo governo e autoridade, poder e domínio, e de todo nome que se possa mencionar, não apenas nesta era, mas também na que há de vir.Deus colocou todas as coisas debaixo de seus pés e o designou cabeça de todas as coisas para a igreja, que é o seu corpo, a plenitude daquele que enche todas as coisas, em toda e qualquer circunstância.

"Bendito seja o Deus e Pai de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, que nos abençoou com todas as bênçãos espirituais nas regiões celestiais em Cristo. Porque Deus nos escolheu nele antes da criação do mundo, para sermos santos e irrepreensíveis em sua presença. Em amor nos predestinou para sermos adotados como filhos, por meio de Jesus Cristo, conforme o bom propósito da sua vontade, para o louvor da sua gloriosa graça, a qual nos deu gratuitamente no Amado.

Nele temos a redenção por meio de seu sangue, o perdão dos pecados, de acordo com as riquezas da graça de Deus, a qual ele derramou sobre nós com toda a sabedoria e entendimento. E nos revelou o mistério da sua vontade, de acordo com o seu bom propósito que ele estabeleceu em Cristo, isto é, de fazer convergir em Cristo todas as coisas, celestiais ou terrenas, na dispensação da plenitude dos tempos. Nele fomos também escolhidos, tendo sido predestinados conforme o plano daquele que faz todas as coisas segundo o propósito da sua vontade, a fim de que nós, os que primeiro esperamos em Cristo, sejamos para o louvor da sua glória.Amém! (Efésios 1)

Declare a Palavra de Deus sobre você! Declare essas palavras sobre sua família, sua situação, sobre qualquer desânimo que possa estar sentido ultimamente! A Palavra de Deus é poderosa para renovar nossas mentes e encher nossos corações com uma esperança renovada!

God’s warning: Wake up!

This is what the Lord says:

“‘I remember the devotion of your youth,
    how as a bride you loved me
and followed me through the wilderness,
    through a land not sown.
Israel was holy to the Lord,
    the firstfruits of his harvest;
all who devoured her were held guilty,
    and disaster overtook them,’”
declares the Lord.

“What fault did your ancestors find in me,
    that they strayed so far from me?
They followed worthless idols
    and became worthless themselves.
⁶They did not ask, ‘Where is the Lord,
    who brought us up out of Egypt
and led us through the barren wilderness,
    through a land of deserts and ravines,
a land of drought and utter darkness,
    a land where no one travels and no one lives?’
⁷I brought you into a fertile land
    to eat its fruit and rich produce.
But you came and defiled my land
    and made my inheritance detestable.
⁸The priests did not ask,
    ‘Where is the Lord?’
Those who deal with the law did not know me;
    the leaders rebelled against me.
The prophets prophesied by Baal,
    following worthless idols.

“My people have committed two sins:
They have forsaken me,
    the spring of living water,
and have dug their own cisterns,
    broken cisterns that cannot hold water.
Is Israel a servant, a slave by birth?
    Why then has he become plunder?
Lions have roared;

Any males that pursue her need not tire themselves;
    at mating time they will find her.

Does a young woman forget her jewelry,
a bride her wedding ornaments?
Yet my people have forgotten me,

    que não se contaminou
    e que não correu atrás dos baalins?
Reveja o seu procedimento no vale
e considere o que você tem feito.
Você é como uma camela
    jovem e arisca
    que corre para todos os lados;
como uma jumenta selvagem
    habituada ao deserto,
    farejando o vento em seu desejo.
Quem é capaz de controlá-la
    quando está no cio?
Os machos que a procuram
    não precisam se cansar,
porque logo encontrarão
    a que está no mês do cio.

Será que uma jovem
    se esquece das suas jóias,
ou uma noiva, de seus enfeites nupciais?

Where are you digging for answers?

Hey friend! How are you doing?!

Isn’t amazing how people are using the tools of the internet, more and more, to ‘solve’ all their problens and fill their necessities?!

Nowdays, we have an easy access to any information we need, we can also buy online and even take classes! It is very practical but, at the same time, it can be easy to get lost in all this convenience.

Today I was strolling at Instagram, watching the stories and, like I have noticed before, I saw that a lot of people are asking for advices there, based on the people and the subject they follow. The kind of questions people are making, specially Christian people, really scared me!

People out there are lost and seeking for solutions in all the wrong places! I know that it is good to ask for advice sometimes and, I also know that there are good people out there willing to help BUT, you can’t wait for deep answers to solve your life on the internet, you are not going to find it there!

Isolation can be tough and we feell alone and confused sometimes! However, we are not going to figure out what to do, searching for quick answers and formulas online! Life is more complicated than that!

Speaking more specifically for Christians, because I am a follower of Christ and, the purpose of this blog is to spread the Word and inspire people to follow Jesus and be consistant. I have to say it:

Stop asking for how to solve your life on social media! Even if it is for a wise and known man or woman of God. They can’t help you that much!

Instead, run to Jesus, who created and loved you more than anyone! Dig into His Words, open your bible and drink from it! This is the better fountain you can find, to fill you up and help you out!

Psalm 119, wich is a chapter that I love, says:

“Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord. Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart— they do no wrong but follow his ways.” “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.” (Psalms 119:1‭-‬3‭, ‬9)

If you are a follower of Christ, all the answers you need are in His Word, at His company! You don’t need to seek outside of Him. Spend more time digging into your bible and less into “wise people” on social media!

We already have an amazing counselour, giving by God, the Holy Spirit! Work more in this relationship, be patient with your own process and you will find, at the right time, all the answers you need!

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”(Isaiah 9:6). All the good consel, help, comfort and peace you need can be find in Him!

The Word of God it is more than a guidance book, it is spiritual food for our minds and souls! Everything you are seeking out there to feel complete, Jesus is willing to give to us! Seek Him first!

“May your unfailing love come to me, Lord, your salvation, according to your promise; then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word. Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws. I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts. Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope. My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.” (Psalms 119:41‭-‬43‭, ‬45‭, ‬49‭-‬50)

I hope that, in your struggle, you seek first your Creator and Counselour, in prayer and also reading your bible. He will give you all the wisdom and help you need to go through your daily battles!

We have a endless fountain, flowing through the Throne of God, available for us anytime we need it. Just go there and spend some time at His Presence, renewing your strength!

You don’t need silly advices from people who don’t know you or the problens you are facing! You need to seek the One who formed and created you, He knows what’s going on inside your heart! However, if you also need people advices, ask for some mature and wise person who really knows you, someone that can help and be close!

Run to your Father, and be comforted by His amazing love!

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” (Matthew 7:24‭-‬27)

Aonde você tem procurado por respostas?!

Ei amigo! Como você está?

É incrível como as pessoas estão usando as ferramentas da Internet hoje em dia, para ‘resolver’ todos os seus problemas e suprir suas necessidades, não é?!

Nós temos um fácil acesso a qualquer informação que precisemos, também podemos comprar online e até mesmo assistir aulas! É uma coisa muito prática mas, ao mesmo tempo, pode ser fácil se perder em toda essa comodidade.

Hoje eu estava passeando pelo Instagram, vendo os stories e, como eu já tinha percebido antes, vi que muita gente está pedindo conselhos por lá, com base nas pessoas e o assunto que eles seguem. O tipo de perguntas que as pessoas estão fazendo( meu Deus!), especialmente os cristãos, realmente me assustou!

As pessoas estão perdidas e buscando soluções em todos os lugares errados! Eu sei que é bom pedir conselhos às vezes e, também sei que existem pessoas boas por aí dispostas a ajudar, MAS, você não pode buscar respostas profundas para resolver sua vida, na internet! Até porque, lá você não vai encontrar isso.

O isolamento pode ser difícil e, às vezes, nos sentimos sozinhos e confusos. No entanto, não vamos descobrir o que fazer procurando respostas rápidas e fórmulas online! A vida é mais complicada do que isso!

Falando mais especificamente para os cristãos, porque sou uma seguidora de Cristo e, o objetivo deste blog é divulgar a Palavra e inspirar as pessoas a seguirem Jesus e serem consistentes, eu tenho que dizer:

Pare de perguntar como resolver a sua vida nas redes sociais! Mesmo que seja para um homem ou mulher de Deus, sábio e conhecido. Eles não podem te ajudar tanto assim!

Em vez disso, corra para Jesus, que te criou e amou você mais do que qualquer pessoa! Mergulhe em Suas Palavras, abra sua Bíblia e beba dela! Esta é a melhor fonte que você pode encontrar, para enchê-lo e ajudá-lo!

O Salmo 119, que é um capítulo que eu amo, diz:

“ Bem-aventurados aqueles cujos caminhos são irrepreensíveis, que andam de acordo com a lei do Senhor. Bem-aventurados aqueles que guardam seus estatutos e O buscam de todo o coração – não praticam o mal, mas seguem seus caminhos.” “Como pode um jovem permanecer puro? Vivendo de acordo com a sua palavra.” (Salmos 119: 1-3, 9)

Se você é um seguidor de Cristo, todas as respostas de que você precisa estão em Sua Palavra, na Sua companhia! Você não precisa buscar algo fora Dele. Passe mais tempo mergulhado na sua Bíblia e menos nas “pessoas sábias” nas redes sociais!

Já temos um conselheiro incrível, dado por Deus, o Espírito Santo! Trabalhe mais nessa relação, seja paciente com seu próprio processo e você encontrará, no momento certo, todas as respostas que precisa!

“Porque um menino nos nasceu, um filho nos foi dado, e o governo está sobre os seus ombros. E ele será chamado Maravilhoso Conselheiro, Deus Poderoso, Pai Eterno, Príncipe da Paz.(Isaías 9:6) Todo bom conselho, ajuda, conforto e paz que você precisa podem ser encontrados Nele!

A Palavra de Deus não é somente um guia prático, é alimento espiritual para nossa vida! Tudo o que você busca lá fora para se sentir completo, Jesus está disposto a nos dar! Procure-o primeiro!

“Que o teu amor alcance-me, Senhor,
e a tua salvação, segundo a tua promessa;
⁴²então responderei aos que me afrontam,
pois confio na tua palavra.
⁴³Jamais tires da minha boca
a palavra da verdade,
pois nas tuas ordenanças
coloquei a minha esperança.
⁴⁴Obedecerei constantemente à tua lei,
para todo o sempre.
⁴⁵Andarei em verdadeira liberdade,
pois tenho buscado os teus preceitos.“( Salmos 119:41-45)

Eu desejo que, em meios às lutas, você busque primeiro seu Criador e Conselheiro, em oração e na leitura de sua Bíblia. Ele lhe dará toda a sabedoria e ajuda de que você precisa para enfrentar as batalhas diárias!

Temos uma fonte inesgotável, fluindo através do Trono de Deus, disponível para nós sempre que precisarmos. Basta ir lá e passar algum tempo na Presença Dele, renovando suas forças!

Você não precisa de conselhos tolos de pessoas que não te conhecem, não sabem dos problemas que você está enfrentando! Você precisa buscar Aquele que o formou e o criou, Ele sabe o que está acontecendo dentro do seu coração! Porém, se você também precisar de conselhos de pessoas, peça a alguém maduro e sábio, que realmente te conheça, alguém que possa te ajudar e estar por perto!

Mas lembre-se, a primeira opção está sempre disponível! Corra para o seu Pai e seja consolado e orientado em Seu amor infalível!

“Portanto, todos que ouvem essas minhas palavras e as colocam em prática são como um homem sábio que construiu sua casa sobre a rocha. Caiu a chuva, os riachos aumentaram e os ventos sopraram e bateram contra aquela casa; ainda assim, não caiu, porque tinha seu alicerce na rocha.

Mas todos que ouvem essas minhas palavras e não as colocam em prática são como um homem tolo que construiu sua casa na areia. Caiu a chuva, os riachos aumentaram e os ventos sopraram e bateram contra aquela casa, e ela caiu com grande estrondo.” Mateus 7: 24-27

The battlefield of the mind!

Hey friends! How are you doing?

Today I want to talk about a subject that is surrounding my daily life and something that I think a lot of people are dealing right now during pandemic times: The battle we face in our minds!

I don’t know if you are aware or how much are you aware of what fills your mind during a day, a week or these past months, but I know what I’m having to deal with: A lot of annoying, inconvenient and untrue thoughts! Sometimes it feels like a crazy train, something that I can’t control and I don’t know where is going to end up!

So, if you are dealing with thoughts that make you feel sad, anxious or ashamed, you should know that you are not alone and this is not a hopeless situation, we can ask for help! (From above, from our family members or people we trust…)

Stop to think for a few minutes about “With what I am feeding my mind all day long”? Because that it’s a essential question!

If you are stucked with fear, for example, analyze for a moment what are the sources you are feeding up your mind, what kind of informations? Do you spend a lot of times reading or watching the news or channels that makes you feel worried or anxious?

If so, it is time for you to change your habits and intentionally change what enters into your ears, what your eyes are watching all the time!

I know I was dealing with a lot of anxiety about the future, specifically about some areas of my life and why? Because unconsciously, I was comparing my life with others, looking to social media and thinking that I lot of people were in a better place than me.

I also was watching a “family show”, something apparently harmless, but that was triggering my mind to think about things I should been thinking, things that was really stealing my peace! ( And deep inside I always know when I am doing something that I shouldn’t be doing, but sometimes I keep doing…)

So, what I do, or at least, what I try to do for a few days or a week, is to clean up my routine of technology and social media (and any other bad habit I may dealing with). And I replace that time by reading a book or the bible, I go for a walk or I take some time to just sit in a quite place to listen to what God wants to say, or I just stay there, in silence! That really helps me!

After a while that becomes part of life, with some highs and lows, of course, but I definitelly believe that we can change our habits and routines for the better!

If you are struggling with thoughts of fear, depression, comparison or imorality, I encourage you to do this simple changes in your day: Spend less time with you phone, computer or whatever and focus on healthier practices, like reading, meditate,make some phisycal exercises(that really helps me!) or just sit in silence.I also strongly recommend, specially if you believe in God, for you to fill your mind with His Word, truths and promises.

Read the Bible every time you can, because this book has the power, combined with the help of God’s Spirit, to renew you mind, changing the way you think and the the way you see things around you, the way you see yourself!

If you want to break your cicle of bad thoughts, make some effort to start a new one! The bible says:

“Be happy [in your faith] and rejoice and be glad-hearted continually (always); Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly]; Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].“

There are a few practical steps included in this passage: Be intentionally grateful for where you are right now, for the simple things and small achievements, PRAY everytime you feel weak, overhelmed, hopeless or thankful! Be happy, enjoy your day, the people you have, learn how to be content here and now!

I know that we are living in adificult season! Maybe you have lost someone, maybe you are lonely or sick right now, struggling with money, I don’t know. But He knows! He know you, every detail of every struggle, and God’s Presence is always available for you!

Come closer to Him in prayer everytime you need! If you don’t know what to say, just be in silence, sitting in His Presence and ask Him to talk to you, to show you a way!

In desperate times we can hold on Good News: God is closer than you think and He is eager to help you out! To carry you through the hard times of life! Just surrender your heart ad mind to Him and He will do for you what no one else can! I assure you =)

“Is anyone crying for help? God is listening,
ready to rescue you.

If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there;
if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath.

Disciples so often get into trouble;
still, God is there every time.

He’s your bodyguard, shielding every bone;
not even a finger gets broken.

The wicked commit slow suicide;
they waste their lives hating the good.

God pays for each slave’s freedom;
no one who runs to him loses out.” (Psalm 34:17-22)

O campo de batalha da mente!

Ei você! Como você está?

Hoje quero falar sobre um assunto que envolve nossa vida diária e algo que acho que muitas pessoas,assim como eu, estão lidando durante esses tempos de pandemia: A batalha que enfrentamos em nossa mente!

Não sei se você está ciente, ou o quanto está ciente do que preenche sua mente durante um dia, uma semana ou nos últimos meses, mas eu sei com o que estou tendo que lidar: pensamentos falsos, repetitivos, inconvenientes!

Às vezes, parece um trem desgovernado, algo que não consigo controlar e não sei aonde vai parar!

Portanto, se você está lidando com pensamentos que te deixam triste, ansioso ou envergonhado, saiba que você não está sozinho!

Felizmente esta não é uma situação sem saída, podemos pedir ajuda! (De cima, de nossos familiares ou pessoas em quem confiamos…)

Pare para pensar por alguns minutos sobre “Com o que estou alimentando minha mente o dia todo”? Porque essa é uma questão essencial!

Se você está preso ao medo, por exemplo, analise por um momento quais são as fontes com que você está alimentando sua mente, que tipo de informação?

Você passa muito tempo lendo ou assistindo a noticiários ou vídeos que o deixam preocupado ou ansioso?

Se sim, é hora de você mudar seus hábitos e mudar intencionalmente o que entra em seus ouvidos, o que seus olhos estão observando o tempo todo!

Eu sei que eu estava lidando com muita ansiedade sobre o futuro, especificamente sobre algumas áreas da minha vida e, por quê?

Porque, inconscientemente, eu estava comparando minha vida com a de outras pessoas, olhando para as redes sociais e pensando que muitas pessoas estavam em um lugar melhor do que eu.

Eu também estava assistindo uma série bem “família”, teoricamente bem inofensiva, mas que estava me fazendo pensar em coisas que eu não deveria estar pensando, coisas que realmente estavam roubando minha paz! (E no fundo sempre sei quando estou fazendo algo que não deveria, mas às vezes continuo fazendo…)

Então, o que eu faço, ou pelo menos o que tento fazer por alguns dias, uma semana,ou um determinado período, é limpar minha rotina de tecnologia e mídia social (e qualquer outro mau hábito com o qual eu esteja lidando). Algumas mudanças são temporárias, mas algumas devem ser difinitivas!

Eu substituo esse tempo lendo um livro ou a bíblia, vou dar uma caminhada ou aproveito para ficar sentada em um lugar tranquilo,me dispondo a ouvir o que Deus quer dizer! Ou só fico ali, em silêncio! Isso realmente me ajuda!

Depois de um tempo isso passa a fazer parte da minha rotina, com alguns altos e baixos, claro! Mas definitivamente acredito que podemos mudar nossos hábitos e rotinas para melhor!

Se você está lutando com pensamentos de medo, depressão, comparação ou imoralidade, eu o encorajo a fazer essas mudanças simples em seu dia: Passe menos tempo com seu telefone, computador etc e concentre-se em práticas mais saudáveis, como ler, meditar(na Palavra), fazer algumas exercícios físicos (isso me ajuda muito!) ou apenas sentar em silêncio.

Também recomendo fortemente, principalmente se você crê em Deus, que preencha sua mente com Sua Palavra, verdades e promessas!

Leia a Bíblia sempre que puder, porque este livro tem o poder, combinado com a ajuda do Espírito Santo, de renovar a nossa mente, mudando nossa maneira de pensar e de ver as coisas ao nosso redor, de ver a nós mesmos!

Se você quiser interromper seu ciclo de pensamentos ruins, faça um esforço para começar um novo ciclo!

A bíblia diz: “Seja feliz [em sua fé] e regozije-se e alegre-se continuamente (sempre); seja incessante em oração [orando com perseverança]; Agradeça [Deus] em tudo [sejam quais forem as circunstâncias, agradeça e dê graças] , pois esta é a vontade de Deus para vocês [que estão] em Cristo Jesus [o Revelador e Mediador dessa vontade].”

Existem alguns passos práticos incluídos nesta passagem: Seja intencionalmente grato por onde você está agora, pelas coisas simples e pequenas realizações, ORE toda vez que você se sentir fraco, sobrecarregado, sem esperança ou grato!

Seja feliz, aproveite o seu dia, as companhias que você tem, aprenda a se contentar aqui e agora!

Eu sei que estamos vivendo uma época difícil! Talvez você tenha perdido alguém, talvez esteja sozinho ou doente agora, lutando com problemas financeiros, não sei. Mas ele sabe!

Ele conhece você, cada detalhe de cada luta, e a Presença de Deus está sempre disponível para você!

Aproxime-se Dele em oração sempre que precisar! Se você não sabe o que dizer, apenas fique em silêncio, sentado na Presença Dele e peça a Ele para falar com você, para lhe mostrar um caminho!

Em tempos de desespero, podemos contar com Boas Novas: Deus está mais perto do que você pensa e está ansioso para ajudá-lo! Para levá-lo através dos tempos difíceis da vida! Simplesmente entregue seu coração e mente a Ele e Ele fará por você o que ninguém mais pode! Eu te garanto =)

“Os justos clamam, o Senhor os ouve e os livra de todas as suas tribulações. O Senhor está perto dos que têm o coração quebrantado e salva os de espírito abatido. O justo passa por muitas adversidades, mas o Senhor o livra de todas; protege todos os seus ossos; nenhum deles será quebrado. A desgraça matará os ímpios; os que odeiam o justo serão condenados. O Senhor redime a vida dos seus servos; ninguém que nele se refugia será condenado.” Salmos 34:17‭-‬22 NVI

Why we need to practice our FAITH?!

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.” Hebrews 11:1

How many times you thought you were crazy to believe in something “unreachable”?!

Or maybe, like Abraham and Sarah you laughed of some idea(promise) that cross your mind (but it was that known whispering voice inside of you!)

I know that I did! I laughed at some crazy thoughts that God gave me, for thinking it was impossible for me to achieve it!

Sometimes, things get confused and we don’t know what is really God talking to us and what is our crazy mind playing with us, right? I definitely know this feeling.

In this season of my life, I am learning (again) how it feels like to live by faith, trusting God in every area, every step on the way! Because, to be honest, I don’t have another option. “Where could I go, God? You hold my whole life together.”

However, I really struggle sometimes with the unknown. “What if?!” my mind wonders and I never know where is this invisible line between faith and crazyness?! It is not easy to find out! lol

When we really don’t know what to do, we all have two options: Get crazy and stressed by what we can’t control or change, or just be honest with God and surrender to Him what we can’t handle! (Sometimes is almost everything, isn’t it?)

The bible says that “…without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hb 11:6)

If we really want to live a godly life, we need to develop a trusting relationship with Him, having faith that He is working in our behalf and that He knows what we can and can’t handle without His help!

It is through difficult times that we can develop a STRONG relationship with God that results in a unshakable faith! There is no easy way to learn it, let’s be honest.

If you are not struggling in some area(s) of your life, you ain’t going to seek God like you should and, in a weak relationship, your faith can’t grow!

That’s why James 1:2-4 says “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, ^a whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

We need to face hard things so we can grow in spiritual maturity, having a strong faith! That will helps us in the next challenges of our lives and shape our identity as sons and daughters of God!

I don’t know wich crazy promises God has for your life, or dreams that He put in your heart, but faith is your fuel to accomplish it!

Don’t give up, keep going even when the idea seems ridiculous and your thoughts are making fun of you!

Keep declaring the Word of God over your life! And when you feel too tired and disappointed to keep going, lay down your burdens and rest on Him!

He knows how to restore our strength and refresh our wounded hearts!

When all the circunstances says “no”, keep pushing forward. Praise Him in every situation, and watch the giants fall before you!

Por que precisamos exercitar nossa fé?!

“Agora, fé é confiança no que esperamos e garantia sobre o que não vemos. É por isso que os antigos foram elogiados. ” Hebreus 11:1-2

Quantas vezes você pensou que era louco por acreditar em algo “inalcançável”?!

Ou talvez, como Abraão e Sarah, você riu de alguma ideia (uma promessa!) que passou pela sua cabeça? (Mas na verdade, era aquela conhecida voz sussurrante dentro de você!)

Eu sei que eu sim! Eu ri de alguns pensamentos malucos que Deus me deu, por pensar que era impossível para mim alcançá-los!

Às vezes, as coisas ficam confusas e não sabemos o que é realmente Deus falando conosco e o que é a nossa mente maluca brincando com a gente, não é? Eu definitivamente conheço esse sentimento.

Nessa temporada da minha vida, estou (re)aprendendo como é viver pela fé, confiando em Deus em cada área, em cada passo do caminho! Porque, para ser sincera, não tenho outra opção. “Para onde eu poderia ir, Deus? Você é quem segura minha vida inteira.”

No entanto, às vezes eu realmente luto com o desconhecido. “E se?!” minha mente se pergunta e eu nunca sei onde fica essa “linha invisível entre a fé e a loucura“(?!). Não é nada fácil descobrir! rs

Quando realmente não sabemos o que fazer, todos temos duas opções: Enlouquecer e nos estressar por aquilo que não podemos controlar ou mudar ou apenas sermos honesto com Deus e render a Ele o que não podemos controlar! (Às vezes é quase tudo, não é?)

A bíblia diz que “… sem fé é impossível agradar a Deus, porque quem vem a ele deve acreditar que ele existe e que recompensa aqueles que o procuram sinceramente.” (Hb 11: 6)

Se realmente queremos viver uma vida piedosa, precisamos desenvolver um relacionamento de confiança com Ele, tendo fé que Ele está trabalhando por nós e que sabe o que podemos ou não aguentar sem a ajuda Dele!

É somente em tempos difíceis que podemos desenvolver um relacionamento FORTE com Deus que resulta em uma fé inabalável! Não existe uma maneira fácil de aprender, sejamos honestos.

Se você não estiver lutando em alguma área da sua vida, você não vai buscar a Deus como deveria e, em um relacionamento fraco, sua fé não pode crescer!

É por isso que Tiago 1: 2-4 diz “Considerem isso pura alegria, meus irmãos e irmãs, ^a sempre que enfrentar vários tipos de provações, porque você sabe que o teste de sua fé produz perseverança. 4 Deixe a perseverança terminar seu trabalho para que você seja maduro e completo, não faltando nada. “

Precisamos enfrentar as coisas difíceis para que possamos crescer em maturidade espiritual, tendo uma fé forte! Isso vai nos ajudar nos próximos desafios de nossas vidas e moldar nossa identidade como filhos e filhas de Deus!

Não sei quais são as promessas malucas que Deus tem para a sua vida ou os sonhos que Ele colocou no seu coração, mas a fé é o seu combustível para realizá-la!

Não desista, continue, mesmo quando a ideia parecer ridícula e seus pensamentos estiverem zombando de você!

Continue declarando a Palavra de Deus sobre sua vida! E quando você se sentir muito cansado e desapontado para continuar, deixe seus fardos e descanse com Ele!

Ele sabe como restaurar nossas forças e refrescar nossos corações feridos!

Quando todas as circunstâncias disserem “não”, continue avançando. Louve-o em todas as situações e assista (maravilhado) os gigantes caindo diante de você!

“How long, Lord?

Will you forget me forever?

How long will you hide your face from me?

Look on me and answer, Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.

In times of trials and uncertainty, remember Who are your God and protector!

Our future is not in men hands or human decisions, the final Word comes from the Lord!

Even when we can’t see a way out and the storm is too great, choose to keep looking to Jesus! Don’t surrender to the circunstances.He will rescue us, at the proper time and in amazing ways!

Don’t give up and don’t give ears to your fears! He loves us!

“Lord , you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure.

The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.

I will praise the Lord , who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.

I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.

Lidando com os desafios!

“Até quando, Senhor? Você vai me esquecer para sempre? Por quanto tempo você vai esconder seu rosto de mim? Por quanto tempo devo lutar com meus pensamentos e dia após dia ter tristeza em meu coração? Por quanto tempo meu inimigo triunfará sobre mim? Olhe para mim e responda, Senhor meu Deus. Dê luz aos meus olhos ou dormirei o sono da morte, e meu inimigo dirá: “Eu o venci”, e meus inimigos se alegrarão quando eu cair. Mas eu confio em seu amor infalível; meu coração se alegra com sua salvação. Cantarei o louvor do Senhor, porque ele tem sido bom para mim.” Salmos 13: 1-6

Em tempos de provações e incertezas, lembre-se de Quem é o seu Deus e protetor!

Nosso futuro não está nas mãos dos homens ou em decisões humanas, a Palavra final vem do Senhor!

Mesmo quando não conseguimos ver uma saída e a tempestade é muito forte, opte por continuar olhando para Jesus! Não se entregue às circunstâncias.

Ele vai nos resgatar, no momento certo e de maneiras incríveis! Não desista e não dê ouvidos aos seus medos!

Ele nos ama!

“Senhor, só tu és a minha porção e o meu cálice; tu tornas a minha sorte segura.
Os limites caíram para mim em lugares agradáveis; com certeza tenho uma herança maravilhosa.

“This is what the Lord says to His anointed, to Cyrus [king of Persia], Whose right hand I have held To subdue nations before him, And I will ungird the loins of kings [disarming them];

To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut: “I will go before you and level the mountains; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness [the hoarded treasures]

And the hidden riches of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The Lord , the God of Israel, who calls you (Cyrus the Great) by your name. For the sake of Jacob My servant, And of Israel My chosen, I have also called you by your name; I have given you an honorable name.

Though you have not known Me. I am the Lord , and there is no one else; There is no God except Me. I will embrace and arm you, though you have not known Me, That people may know from the rising to the setting of the sun [the world over] That there is no one except Me. I am the Lord , and there is no other, The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing peace and creating disaster; I am the Lord who does all these things.

“The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush (ancient Ethiopia) And the Sabeans, men of stature, Will come over to you and they will be yours; They will walk behind you, in chains [of subjection to you] they will come over, And they will bow down before you; They will make supplication to you, [humbly and earnestly] saying, ‘Most certainly God is with you, and there is no other, No other God [besides Him].’

Truly, You are a God who hides Himself, O God of Israel, Savior! They will be put to shame and also humiliated, all of them; They who make idols will go away together in humiliation. Israel has been saved by the Lord With an everlasting salvation;

You will not be put to shame or humiliated for all eternity. For the Lord , who created the heavens (He is God, who formed the earth and made it; He established it and did not create it to be a wasteland, but formed it to be inhabited) says this, “I am the Lord , and there is no one else.

I have not spoken in secret, In a corner of a land of darkness; I did not say to the descendants of Jacob, ‘Seek Me in vain [with no benefit for yourselves].’ I, the Lord , speak righteousness [the truth—trustworthy, a straightforward correlation between deeds and words], Declaring things that are upright.

“Assemble yourselves and come; Come together, you survivors of the nations! They are ignorant, Who carry around their wooden idols [in religious processions or into battle] And keep on praying to a god that cannot save them. Declare and present your defense of idols;

Indeed, let them consult together. Who announced this [rise of Cyrus and his conquests] long before it happened? Who declared it long ago? Was it not I, the Lord ? This Present Darkness

Hey you! How are you doing?

Considering the times we all are facing right now, when a lot of people are diving into doubt and fear, I thought it would be important and very useful to talk about one of the greatest books I ever read and also, about what is our role, as christians, in the middle of this scenario of uncertainty!

This book,”This present darkness” by Frank Peretti, was wrote in 1986 and it couldn’t be more actual to our global situation!

I am not gonna ruin this story for you, telling all the details, cause I really think that we all should read it! This book really changed my perception about spiritual war and the power of prayer!

It is a christian fiction story, that tell us about a small city “Baskon”, wich face a great war between the Heaven’s army and demons principalities, showing us how our natural world is so deeply rooted in such a demoniac influence behind the scenes!

All the “human arm wrestling” for control and power involves dark forces that is acting behind it, to take control of peoples lives, and everything starts in the mind!

We need to understand that there is a spiritual battle for the control of our minds and actions,and as human beings, we can chose what is gonna feed our minds: The truth of God’s Word or this woldly broken mindset!

Every single step we take, every small decision toward a path, right or wrong, it will affetcs our beliefs and ,of course, our destiny!

That’s why Paul says in Romans 12 :2 that we must “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, so that you are able to experience and prove the good, pleasant and perfect will of God.”

When we don’t feed our mind and spirit with the Heaven’s feast, we are feeding ourselves with something else: cultural standards of this world, mindset built on lies, artificial claims.

I am saying that, because we need to know who we are and where we should stand,in the middle of this spiritual war behind the human action. If we are not feedind ourselves with the truth, it will be easy to get lost and confused, seeing only what human eyes can see, and right now, it’s pretty much chaos and uncertainty!

Going back to the book, we see through the whole story that God start to wake up His people through chaotic situations!

The people of the city starts to face all kinds of struggle and the people of God is being attacked by all sides with slander, division, family problens and,of course, spiritual opression from demoniac attacks.

When all the things start to get really bad, the first thing(well, not really) that the christians characters starts to do is: PRAY AND SEEK GOD!

Behind the scene, we see angels and demons trying to get the attention of God’s people, because they know what PRAYER CAN DO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WAR!

They know exactly who are the sons and daughters of God and what happens when they start to pray with commitment, really fighting in prayer, gathering together and praising the Lord!

When the people of God finally understands their role in this whole situation, the spiritual battle changes!Cause the Heavenly army can only be powerfull and invencible when THEY ARE PRAYING AND PRAISING GOD!

See what an Angel says to Daniel in Daniel 10:12:

“Do not be afraid, Daniel,” he said, “for from the first day that you purposed to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. 13 However, the prince of the kingdom of Persia opposed me for twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia. “

Here we can see that, since Daniel decided to pray and fast for 21 days, something happened in the Spiritual realms. An angel was sent and a war began, cause the prince of Persia, a demon with great power, tried to resist him! However,a Chief Angel, Michael, was sent to help to won this spiritual war!

So you see, when we realize that, besides of the battles in the natural world, like the one we are facing right now, is happening, there is also a spiritual battle going on, that involves the Lord’s army against darkness powers, we need to raise up and stand as a good warrior of God, in PRAYER and WORSHIP. Otherwise, things can go from bad to worse!

I think that’s why God allows this kind of situations to happen, cause when everything is OK in our lives, when we are confortable and distracted, WE DON’T PRAY LIKE WE SHOULD!

I hope that all of us, as sons and daughters of God, will begin to understand why we are here,right now, and began to exercising the purpose for which we were created!

We have a calling, a mission to fulfill in this world and nothing of what is happening is in vain!

This is the Lord’s message for us: Stop to soak this weak and fearful worldly mindset and stand in position with your most precious weapon: My Word!

We are warriors, Christ’s ambassadors on this present (darkness) world and it is time to rise up in boldness and courage!

Remember: When we fight in prayer, the darkness tremble and the spiritual realms moves in our favor! This is what we are called to do right now. Don’t hesitate!

“17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.

18 Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the Lord. 19Then some Levites from the Kohathites and Korahites stood up and praised the Lord, the God of Israel, with a very loud voice.’ 

20 Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.” 21After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his ^c holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:

“Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.”

22As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. 23The Ammonites and Moabites rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another.” 2 Chronicles 20: 17-22

Este mundo tenebroso!

Ei você! Tudo bem?

Considerando os tempos que todos estamos enfrentando agora, quando muitas pessoas estão mergulhando na dúvida e no medo, decidi falar sobre um dos melhores livros que já li e também sobre qual é o nosso papel, como cristãos, no meio desse cenário de incerteza!

Este livro, chamado “Este mundo tenebroso”, foi escrito em 1986, mas não poderia ser mais atual para a nossa situação!

Não vou estragar esta história, contando todos os detalhes, porque realmente acho que todos deveríamos ler este livro! Essa leitura mudou para sempre a minha percepção sobre guerra espiritual e o poder da oração!

É uma ficção cristã, e conta a história de uma cidade pequena que enfrentará uma grande guerra entre o exército do Céu e os principados dos demônios, nos mostrando como nosso mundo natural está tão profundamente enraizado nas influências demoníacas por trás da cena!

Toda a “queda de braço” humano que acontece por controle e poder envolve forças das trevas que agem por trás de tudo, para assumir o controle da vida das pessoas e tudo começa nas nossas mentes!

Precisamos entender que existe uma batalha espiritual pelo controle dos nossos pensamentos e ações e que nós, como seres humanos, podemos escolher o que irá alimentar nossas mentes: a verdade da Palavra de Deus ou essa mentalidade humanamente caída!

Cada passo que damos, toda pequena decisão em direção a um caminho, certo ou errado, afetará nossas crenças e, é claro, nosso destino!

É por isso que Paulo diz em Romanos 12: 2 que devemos “Não estar em conformidade com o padrão deste mundo, mas ser transformados pela renovação de sua mente, para que você possa experimentar e provar a boa, agradável e perfeita vontade de Deus”.

Quando não alimentamos nossa mente e espírito com o banquete da Palavra, estamos nos alimentando com outra coisa: padrões culturais deste mundo, mentalidade construída sobre mentiras, reivindicações artificiais.

Estou dizendo isso, porque precisamos saber quem somos e qual é a nossa posição no meio dessa guerra espiritual que acontece “nos bastidores”. Se não nos alimentarmos da verdade, será fácil nos perdermos e nos confundirmos, vendo apenas o que os olhos humanos podem ver e, agora, é praticamente caos e incerteza!

Voltando ao livro, vemos por toda a história que Deus começa a despertar Seu povo em situações caóticas, o povo da cidade começa a enfrentar todos os tipos de luta e o povo de Deus está sendo atacado por todos os lados com calúnia, divisão, problemas familiares e ataques demoníacos.

Quando todas as coisas ficam realmente ruins, a primeira coisa que os personagens cristãos começam a fazer é: ORAR E BUSCAR A DEUS!( Não é bem a primeira coisa mas enfim…)

Nos bastidores, vemos anjos e demônios tentando chamar a atenção do povo de Deus, porque eles sabem o que a ORAÇÃO PODE FAZER NO MEIO DA GUERRA!

Eles sabem exatamente quem são os filhos e filhas de Deus e o que acontece quando começam a orar de verdade, realmente lutando em oração, quando começam a reunir-se e louvar ao Senhor!

Quando o povo de Deus finalmente entende seu papel em toda essa situação, a batalha espiritual muda! O exército celestial só pode ser poderoso e invencível quando eles estão orando e louvando a Deus.

Veja o que um anjo diz a Daniel em Daniel 10:12:

“Não tenha medo, Daniel”, disse ele, “pois desde o primeiro dia em que você pretendeu entender e se humilhar diante de seu Deus, suas palavras foram ouvidas, e eu respondi a elas. 13 No entanto, o príncipe do reino da Pérsia se opôs a mim por vinte e um dias. Então, Miguel, um dos príncipes celestiais, veio me ajudar, pois eu havia ficado lá com os reis da Pérsia. “

Aqui podemos ver que, desde que Daniel decidiu orar e jejuar por 21 dias, algo aconteceu nos reinos espirituais. Um anjo foi enviado e uma guerra começou, porque o príncipe da Pérsia, um demônio com grande poder, tentou resistir a ele! Mas um anjo-chefe, Miguel, foi enviado para ajudar a vencer esta guerra espiritual!

Então, quando percebemos batalhas em situações naturais da vida, lutas como as que estamos enfrentando agora, estão acontecendo, há também uma batalha espiritual, o exército do Senhor contra o exército do diabo e se não permanecermos como guerreiro de Deus em oração e adoração, coisas ruins podem acontecer!

Eu acho que é por isso que Deus permite que esse tipo de situação aconteça, porque quando tudo está bem em nossas vidas, quando estamos confortáveis e distraídos, NÃO ORAMOS COMO DEVEMOS!

Espero que todos nós, como filhos e filhas de Deus, comecemos a perceber por que estamos aqui e agora, exercendo o propósito para o qual fomos criados!

Temos um chamado, uma missão a cumprir neste mundo e nada do que está acontecendo é em vão!

Esta é a mensagem do Senhor para nós: Pare de absorver essa mentalidade fraca e temerosa do mundo e fique em posição com a sua arma mais preciosa: Minha Palavra!

Somos guerreiros, embaixadores de Cristo neste mundo (tenebroso) presente e é hora de nos levantarmos em ousadia e coragem!

Lembre-se: Quando lutamos em oração, as trevas tremem e os reinos espirituais se movem a nosso favor! É para isso que somos chamados a fazer agora. Não hesite!

“Vocês não precisarão lutar nessa batalha. Tomem suas posições; permaneçam firmes e vejam o livramento que o Senhor lhes dará, ó Judá, ó Jerusalém. Não tenham medo nem se desanimem. Saiam para enfrentá-los amanhã, e o Senhor estará com vocês’ .

Josafá prostrou-se, rosto em terra, e todo o povo de Judá e de Jerusalém prostrou-se em adoração perante o Senhor.
Então os levitas descendentes dos coatitas e dos coreítas levantaram-se e louvaram o Senhor, o Deus de Israel, em alta voz.
De madrugada partiram para o deserto de Tecoa. Quando estavam saindo, Josafá lhes disse: “Escutem-me, Judá e povo de Jerusalém! Tenham fé no Senhor, o seu Deus, e vocês serão sustentados; tenham fé nos profetas dele e vocês terão a vitória”.
Depois de consultar o povo, Josafá nomeou alguns homens para cantarem ao Senhor e o louvarem pelo esplendor de sua santidade, indo à frente do exército, cantando: “Dêem graças ao Senhor, pois o seu amor dura para sempre”.
Quando começaram a cantar e a entoar louvores, o Senhor preparou emboscadas contra os homens de Amom, de Moabe e dos montes de Seir que estavam invadindo Judá, e eles foram derrotados.” 2 Crônicas 20:17-22

Did you already stop to think about what are you thinking?!

A few months ago, I was desperately fighting with anxiety (the evil of the century lol) about several things in my life!

Actually, for a long time, I struggled trying to figure out how things would happen for me, since I started to get glimpses of what God has for my future.

Thoughts like: when I would travel again on missions or when I would find a job here in my city or yet, when things would change for better in every area of my life!

Did you ever experience that? The annoing tentative to control everything, even what you don’t understand, all together(lol). Feeling your mind running around all the time, without any rest?

Yeah, I was just like that when God started to show me that I needed to take care of my thoughts and change my attitude!

In the meanwhile, I started to read a great book, “The battlefield of the mind”, by Joyce Meyer. It helped me a lot to watch my thoghts and medidate more on the truth of the Word.

This post it’s not about this book but, I need to share that it really helped me to change my attitude, to be more in control of what I was thinking during my day!

So, I definitely recommend it for you, who are struggling trying to take control of your mind and thoughts!

I already had the habit to use my bible to pray, but I learned that I needed to go deeper and really internalize( keeping in mind, all day long) what I was declaring with my mouth!

The truth is : what we are thinking affects directly our attitude and behavior! And I used to have a lot of deprecating thoughts about myself and, the whole picture I was facing!

The word says in Proverbs that “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…”

I can tell, when we already have a defeat thought in our minds before we try to do something, WE ALREADY FAILED.

When our mind is full of insecurity and lies, planted by the enemy along the years, it’s easy to be stucked in fear and don’t have any trust that we can do better, accodirng to the word of God!

The road for complete FREEDOM of mind is pavimented with PRAYERS, trust in the Word of God and also, tears! ( yes, it’s a long process!)

However, I want to help you to not be discouraged, if you fail sometimes in BELIEVE that you CAN DO anything, like I did. Keep in mind that God holds us together, no matter what happens!

I already felt frustrated a lot of times. I thought my mind’s healing would be fast as I wanted to be! But God is not in a hurry, His work is ALREADY FINISHED IN THE SPIRITUAL REALMS.

He is thorough, working in every single part of our hearts and minds. And He will complete the good work He started on us!

So, keep all the truth of the Word in your mind! In John says:

“If you keep my word [if you hold fast to my teachings and live by them], you are truly my disciples. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32

When our mind is resting, we can truly rest in body, spirit and soul. That is what really means TRUSTING IN GOD!

I still have to educate my mind every day, but now when I am assaulted by a lie or a thought that makes me sad or irritated, I run to the TRUTH of the bible and I declare it over me, just like Jesus did at the desert when Satan tried to deceive Him!

So, remenber that the SAME SPIRIT of God, who helped Jesus, is in you and can help you anytime!

Pray and ask for help EVERY TIME you have to fight against the lies inside your head.

DECLARE THE TRUTH with your mouth and internalize in your heart, just RESTING IN THE LORD, cause He is in control of everything!

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:11-12

Você já parou pra pensar no que você está pensando?!

Há alguns meses, eu estava lutando desesperadamente com a ansiedade, por causa de várias coisas na minha vida.

Na verdade, durante muito tempo, lutei tentando entender e descobrir como as coisas aconteceriam para mim, desde que comecei a receber vislumbres do que Deus tinha pro meu futuro.

Pensamentos como: quando eu viajaria novamente em missões ou quando encontraria um emprego aqui na minha cidade ou ainda, quando as coisas mudariam para melhor em todas as áreas da minha vida! (rs)

Você já experimentou isso? A tentativa de controlar, tudo o que você não entende (rs) e, sentir que a sua mente está correndo o tempo todo, sem descanso?

Sim, eu estava assim quando Deus começou a me mostrar que eu precisava cuidar dos meus pensamentos e mudar minha atitude!

Enquanto isso, eu comecei a ler um ótimo livro, “O campo de batalha da mente” da Joyce Meyer. Ele me ajudou muito a vigiar meus pensamentos e meditar mais na verdade da Palavra.

Este post não é sobre este livro, mas eu preciso compartilhar que isso realmente me ajudou a mudar minha atitude e a manter mais o controle sobre o que eu estava pensando durante o meu dia!

Então eu definitivamente recomendo para você, que está lutando para assumir o controle de sua mente e pensamentos!

Eu já tinha o hábito de usar minha Bíblia para orar, mas aprendi que precisava me aprofundar e realmente internalizar (tendo em mente o dia todo) o que estava declarando com a minha boca!

A verdade é: o que estamos pensando afeta diretamente nossa atitude e comportamento ! E eu costumava ter muitos pensamentos depreciativos sobre mim e sobre todo o cenário que eu estava enfrentando!

A palavra diz em Provérbios que “Pois como ele pensa em seu coração, assim ele é…”

Posso dizer que, quando já temos um pensamento de derrota em nossas mentes antes de tentar fazer algo, JÁ FALHAMOS.

Quando nossa mente está cheia de insegurança e mentiras, plantada pelo inimigo ao longo dos anos, é fácil ficar preso no medo e não ter nenhuma confiança de que possamos fazer melhor, de acordo com a palavra de Deus!

O caminho para a LIBERDADE completa da mente é pavimentada com ORAÇÕES, confiança na Palavra de Deus e também lágrimas! (porque é um processo longo!)

No entanto, quero ajudá-lo a não desanimar, se você às vezes falha em ACREDITAR que pode fazer qualquer coisa, como eu também falho. Lembre-se de que Deus nos mantém seguros em suas mãos, aconteça o que acontecer!

Eu já me senti frustrada muitas vezes. Eu pensava que a cura da minha mente seria rápida como eu queria! Mas, Deus não tem pressa, Seu trabalho JÁ ESTÁ CONCLUÍDO NOS REINOS ESPIRITUAIS.

Ele é minucioso, trabalhando em todas as partes de nossos corações e mentes. E Ele completará o bom trabalho que iniciou em cada um de nós!

Portanto, mantenha toda a verdade da Palavra em sua mente! Em João diz:

“ Se você mantiver minha palavra [ se você se apegar a meus ensinamentos e viver de acordo com eles], você será verdadeiramente meus discípulos. conhecereis a verdade, e a verdade vos libertará. “João 8: 31-32

Quando nossa mente está descansando na verdade, podemos realmente descansar em corpo,alma e espírito. Isso é plena CONFIANÇA EM DEUS!

Ainda tenho que educar minha mente todos os dias; mas agora, quando sou assaltada por uma mentira ou um pensamento que me deixa triste ou irritada, corro para a VERDADE da Bíblia e a declaro sobre mim, assim como Jesus fez no deserto quando Satanás tentou enganá-lo!

Lembre-se de que o MESMO ESPÍRITO de Deus que ajudou Jesus, está em você e pode ajudá-lo a qualquer momento que você precisar!

Ore e peça ajuda TODAS AS VEZES que você precisar lutar contra as mentiras dentro de sua cabeça.

DECLARE A VERDADE com sua boca e a interiorize em seu coração, apenas descansando no Senhor, porque Ele está no controle de tudo!

“Porque não temos que lutar contra a carne e o sangue, mas, sim, contra os principados, contra as potestades, contra os príncipes das trevas deste século, contra as hostes espirituais da maldade, nos lugares celestiais.
Portanto, tomai toda a armadura de Deus, para que possais resistir no dia mau e, havendo feito tudo, ficar firmes.” Efésios 6:12,13
