You are running out of time!
Hello friend! How are you doing?
This week, going through my notes, I found something that caught my attention, because it was a great lesson for me(and still is). So I decided to share here, because I think that it is a struggle to a lot of people, as it was for me!
So, here is the thing: My whole life I always felt that I was running against time and I was always late! It sounds familiar?!
Like the hurried rabbit from “Alice in wonderland”, I was always carrying that feeling of “I need to hurry up, I’m late!”
Every season of my life, in the past, I felt like the time was running against me and I would never be able to keep it up! When I enter the college with 21 years old, I felt I was late, because most of the people in my classroom was 18. The interest thing is: we started with 28 people and I graduate with only 6 of them!(Most of them quit or was behind in their grades).
At that time, I did not realize that being young(most of the time) also means being imature and inconsistant! In life, we need some time to grow and learn with our experinces and failures! Being young can be good to certain things but, the wisdom we need to succeed only comes with time, a lot of time!
So, my point here is: I don’t know if you feel frustrated like I felt with the passage of time, maybe you feel like you are too young or too old to do certain things or you feel like the time is running against you! This is simply not true. There’s still time for you!
Sometimes, we get to a certain point in life (usually after 30’s, right?) where we ask ourselves: Shouldn’t I be “successful” by now? ! Have a house, car, stability, family or whatever? (You can fill this sentence with some of other aspirations you may have)
Either way, I want to encourage you with this: God has a plan and a purpose for every season of our lives! No matter how old we are! No matter what is our struggle right now!
Don”t let this mindset of “I am running out of time!” overtakes you, like it did to me. You are where you are for a reason and, eventually, things and seasons will change! What it’s important in all this is: being wise and intentional with the time you have today!
If you don’t like the season you are right now, use your frustration to build some strength and to invest in things that will help you to be prepared for the next season! Learn from your failures, listen to people wiser and more mature than you. We can always learn from other’s mistakes, so we can do better!
God is the reedemer of our time! He keep our lives together! You are not too late, there is hope in your future. Don’t forget that! And if sometimes you do, you can always run to the Word to remember the truth, declaring it over you and being restored in your hope and strength!
Thinking about that, and how these affirmations always helps me to get back on track, I’ll share some of these here, so it can help you everytime you need! Write it down and declare it out loud everytime you feel discouraged!
“I am created on purpose for a purpose!”
““Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;

“No man or woman is the keeper of my destiny, only God is!”
“The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.

I give all my concerns to God, because He is faithful to see me through them!”
“6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1Peter 5:6-7
I am a child of God!
“I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty.” (2Corinthians 6:18)
“Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:1-5)
I hope it frees you from the weight of expectations, that the world puts over you. That it encourages you to keep believing in God’s dreams for you!

Olá amigo! Como você está? Espero que esteja bem!
Esta semana, revirando as minhas anotações, eu encontrei algo que me chamou a atenção e me lembrou de uma lição importante! Por isso eu resolvi compartilhá-la aqui, pois acho que essa é uma luta que muitas pessoas enfrentam, assim como eu!
Então, eis a questão: Toda a minha vida eu sempre senti que estava correndo contra o tempo e eu estava sempre atrasada!
Como o coelho apressado em Alice no país das maravilhas, eu sempre carreguei aquele sentimento de “Preciso me apressar, estou atrasada!”
Em todas as estações da minha vida, no passado, eu sempre senti que o tempo estava correndo contra mim e eu nunca seria capaz de alcançá-lo!
Quando entrei na faculdade com 21 anos, por exemplo, eu senti que já estava atrasada, porque a maioria das pessoas na minha sala de aula tinha 18 anos mais ou menos. O interessante é que, nós começamos com 28 pessoas e me formei com apenas 6 delas!(A maioria desistiu ou ficou pelo caminho.)
Naquela época, eu não sabia que ser jovem (na maioria das vezes) também significa ser imaturo e inconsistente! Na vida, precisamos de algum tempo para amadurecer, aprendendo com as nossas experiências e fracassos!
Ser jovem pode ser bom para certas coisas, mas a sabedoria que precisamos para ter sucesso na vida só vem com o tempo, muito tempo!
Então, a questão que eu quero levantar com tudo isso é: Não sei se você se sente frustrado como eu me senti com o passar do tempo, se você se sente muito jovem ou velho demais para fazer certas coisas ou talvez você sinta que o tempo está correndo contra você! Isso simplesmente não é verdade. Ainda há tempo!
Às vezes, chegamos a um certo ponto da vida(geralmente depois dos 30 rs) e nos perguntamos: Já não era pra eu ser “bem-sucedido” a essa altura?! Ter casa, carro, estabilidade, família, falar 3 línguas e blá blá blá?(Você pode preencher essa frase com outras aspirações).
Não deixe essa mentalidade de “estou ficando sem tempo!” te dominar, como aconteceu comigo. Você está onde está por uma razão e, eventualmente, as coisas e as estações vão mudar! O importante é que em tudo isso podemos escolher sermos sábios e intencionais com o tempo que temos hoje!
Se você não gosta da temporada em que está agora, use sua frustração para ganhar força e investir em coisas que o ajudarão a se preparar para a próxima temporada! Aprenda com seus fracassos, ouça pessoas mais sábias e maduras que você. Sempre podemos aprender com os erros dos outros, para que possamos fazer melhor!
De qualquer forma, quero encorajá-lo com essa verdade: Deus tem um plano e um propósito para cada estação das nossas vidas! Não importa qual a nossa idade! Não importa qual seja a nossa luta agora!
Deus é o redentor do nosso tempo! Ele mantém nossas vidas de pé! Você não está atrasado, há esperança em seu futuro. Não se esqueça disso!
E se, às vezes, você se sentir assim, você sempre pode correr para a Palavra para lembrar e reafirmar a verdade, declarando-a sobre você e sendo restaurado em esperança e força!
Pensando nisso e, em como essas afirmações sempre me ajudam a voltar aos trilhos, eu vou compartilhar algumas delas aqui, para que isso possa ajudá-lo sempre que você precisar! Anote e declare-as em voz alta toda vez que se sentir desanimado!
“Eu fui criado de propósito para um propósito!”
“Antes de te formar no ventre eu te conheci,
antes de você nascer eu o separei;
eu o designei profeta para as nações .” Jeremias 1:5
“Nenhum homem ou mulher é o guardião do meu destino, somente Deus!”
“O Senhor está comigo; não terei medo.
O que meros mortais podem fazer comigo?
7 O Senhor está comigo; ele é meu ajudante.
Olho triunfante para meus inimigos.” (Salmo 118:6-7)
Eu entrego todas as minhas preocupações a Deus, porque Ele é fiel e me vê através delas!”

Eu sou filho(a) de Deus!
“Eu serei um Pai para vocês,
e vocês serão meus filhos e filhas,
diz o Senhor Todo-Poderoso.” (2 Coríntios 6:18)
“Louve ao Senhor, ó minha alma;
todo o meu ser, louve o seu santo nome.
2 Louve ao Senhor, minha alma,
e não esqueça de todos os seus benefícios—
3 É ele que perdoa todos os seus pecados
e cura todas as suas doenças,
4 quem redime sua vida do poço
> e coroa você com amor e compaixão,
5 que satisfaz seus desejos com coisas boas
para que sua juventude seja renovada como a da águia.” (Salmo 103:1-5)
Eu espero que essa palavra te liberte do peso das expectativas que o mundo te coloca e te encoraje a continuar acreditando nos sonhos de Deus pra você! Tenha um ótimo sábado! Até a próxima =)
Do you struggle with impatience?!
“But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.”
Hello dear reader!
Let me ask something:
Have you ever felt frustrated about how fast or even how slow time pass?! Have you wander about why something did not happen or din’t happen yet in you life? Do you struggle with doubt and impatience? If you answered “yes” to those questions, you can be sure that you are not alone my friend!
All of us struggle with the passage of time(or timing) sometimes. We all question why all the waiting, why “only us” seems to be waiting for the accomplish of God’s plans in our lives, right? I know I do.
The frustration of the waiting it’s not all bad, to be honest. This kind of feeling can produce the fuel and strength to keep going, when we are under God’s direction, willing to obey His will.
In a lot of episodes in the bible, we see people who waited a long time for the fullfillment of God’s promises. Someof them waited well, others tried to make things in their own way and ended up riping something that God didn’t planned for them!(We can see both examples in Genesis, with Abraham and Joseph)
In tough days, when we experience anxiety and frustration about the outcome of our commom lives, it is our choice to face it with the right pesrpective, or not. When I feel that way, I make an efford to bring to my mind all the times that God was faithfull to me during my processes!
Even when the feeling does not go away imediately, I know in my heart and mind that He is teaching me something good! He is making me stronger and resilient, so I can face big challenges in the future, in a way that will honor Him and show to others His faithfulness!
God, unlike us, is above time and the passage of time, it does not make Him worried. He is not in a hurry, He does not depend of certain things to happen so He can act as He said! He has aboslute control over it! He is the Lord of time!
So, knowing that, I just want to encourage you and remind myself that, no matter the outcome of our daily challenges, Gos is still Sovereign and He keeps His promises!
In 2 Peter 3:8-9, Peter made very clear that, if a promise of God is “talinkg too long to happen” it is not because He is late or because something got out of control. It is just because He is patient and He loves us so much, that He does not want us to go astray and get lost!
In this chapter, Peter is talking about the returning of Christ, and how people can question it’s true, because after all these years, Jesus didn’t return yet. However, I think this principle applies to all the promises of God: God uses the waitng to get the best of us and for us. The waiting enables us to be mature and more prepared to receive all the blessings He has for us, in this life, and in the eternal life!
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
It is the will of God that we carry a tender and repented heart. A heart that fully trusts in His Word and do not wave with the circumstances. We need solid foundations to get through all the challenges that will come our way, all that will try to stop us from live His promises in our lives!
Don’t be in such a hurry to get there, embrace the teachings and wisdom that comes from the process! Because, after all, we know that everything that God does for us, it is not only about us, but to lift Jesus high through our lives, giving Him all praise!
Through our life story other people will be reached and transformed. The purposes of God are so much bigger than us! Just remember that and be brave!
Every time I got frustrated by all my anxious thoughts, I go back to this passage of 2 Peter 3:9 to remind me that God is not slow, He is actually very patient and kind. He is preparing me for the best harvest, after all!
I hope the Word of God encourages you as well. Everytime your thoughts runs crazy and the feelings get in the way, just declare it over your situation and choose to believe and be patient. God always come on time for us!
“There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,

“I make known the end from the beginning,

“This is what the Lord says:
“In the time of my favor I will answer you,

to be a covenant for the people,
to restore the land
and to reassign its desolate inheritances,
9 to say to the captives, ‘Come out,’
and to those in darkness, ‘Be free!’ (Isaiah 49:7-9)
Você luta com a impaciência?!
“Mas não se esqueçam disso, queridos amigos: para o Senhor um dia é como mil anos, e mil anos são como um dia.”
Olá caro leitor!
Deixa eu te fazer uma pergunta:
Você já se sentiu frustrado com a rapidez ou mesmo com a lentidão com que o tempo passa?! Você já se perguntou por que algo não aconteceu ou ainda não aconteceu em sua vida? Você luta com dúvidas e impaciência? Se você respondeu “sim” a essas perguntas, pode ter certeza de que não está sozinho, meu amigo!
Todos nós lutamos com a passagem do tempo (ou com “o tempo certo”) às vezes. Todos nós questionamos por que toda a espera, por que “só nós” parecemos estar esperando o cumprimento dos planos de Deus em nossas vidas, certo? Eu sei que eu sim.
A frustração da espera não é de todo ruim, para ser honesta. Esse tipo de sentimento pode produzir o combustível e a força necessária para seguir em frente, quando estamos sob a direção de Deus, dispostos a obedecer à Sua vontade.
Em muitos episódios da Bíblia, vemos pessoas que esperaram muito tempo pelo cumprimento das promessas de Deus. Alguns esperaram bem, outros tentaram fazer as coisas à sua maneira e acabaram colhendo algo que Deus não tinha desenhado para eles!(Podemos ver os dois exemplos em Gênesis, com Abraão e José)
Em dias difíceis, quando sentimos a ansiedade e frustração em relação ao resultado das nossas vidas comuns, é nossa escolha enfrentar essa situação com a perspectiva correta ou não. Quando me sinto assim, eu faço um esforço para lembrar todas as vezes que Deus foi fiel e paciente comigo durante meus processos!
Mesmo quando o sentimento não desaparece imediatamente, eu sei no meu coração e no meu espírito que Ele está me ensinando algo bom! Ele está me tornando mais forte e resiliente, para que eu possa enfrentar grandes desafios no futuro, de uma forma que O honre e mostre aos outros Sua fidelidade!
Deus, ao contrário de nós, está acima da passagem do tempo, isso não O deixa preocupado. Ele não tem pressa, Ele não depende de certas coisas acontecerem para que Ele possa agir como Ele disse! Ele tem controle absoluto sobre isso! Ele é o Senhor do tempo!
Então, sabendo disso, eu só quero encorajá-lo e também me lembrar que, não importa o resultado de nossos desafios diários, Deus ainda é Soberano e Ele cumpre Suas promessas!
Em 2 Pedro 3:8-9, Pedro deixa muito claro que, se uma promessa de Deus está “demorando muito para acontecer”, não é porque Ele está atrasado ou porque algo saiu do controle. E sim porque Ele é paciente e nos ama tanto, que Ele não quer que nos desviemos e nos percamos pelo caminho.
Neste capítulo, Pedro está falando sobre o retorno de Cristo e como as pessoas podem questionar se é verdade, porque depois de tantos anos, Jesus ainda não voltou. No entanto, acredito que esse princípio se aplica a todas as promessas de Deus: Deus usa a espera para obter o melhor de nós e para nós.
A espera nos torna mais maduros e preparados para receber todas as bênçãos que Ele tem para nós, nesta vida e na vida eterna!
“Mas não se esqueça de uma coisa, queridos amigos: Para o Senhor um dia é como mil anos, e mil anos são como um dia. 9 O Senhor não demora a cumprir sua promessa, como alguns entendem a lentidão. Em vez disso, ele é paciente com você, não querendo que ninguém pereça, mas que todos se arrependam.”
É a vontade de Deus que tenhamos um coração terno e arrependido. Um coração que confia plenamente em Sua Palavra e não acena com as circunstâncias. Precisamos de bases sólidas para superar todos os desafios que surgirão em nosso caminho, tudo o que tentará nos impedir de viver Suas promessas em nossas vidas!
Não tenha tanta pressa de chegar lá, abrace os ensinamentos e a sabedoria que vem do processo! Porque, afinal, tudo o que Deus faz por nós, não é apenas sobre nós, mas para elevar o nome de Cristo bem alto através de nossas vidas, dando a Ele todo louvor!
Através da nossa história de vida, outras pessoas serão alcançadas e transformadas. Os propósitos de Deus são muito maiores do que nós podemos imaginar! Apenas lembre-se disso e seja corajoso.
Toda vez que eu fico frustrada com todos os meus pensamentos ansiosos, eu volto a esta passagem de 2 Pedro 3:9 para me lembrar que Deus não é lento, Ele é, na verdade, muito paciente e gentil. Afinal, Ele está me preparando para a melhor colheita!
Espero que a Palavra de Deus o encoraje também. Toda vez que seus pensamentos correrem desenfreados e os sentimentos de ansiedade ficarem no caminho, apenas declare essas verdades sobre sua situação e escolha acreditar, seja paciente. Deus sempre chega na hora certa por nós!
“Para tudo há uma ocasião certa;
há um tempo certo para cada propósito
debaixo do céu:
2 Tempo de nascer e tempo de morrer,
tempo de plantar
e tempo de arrancar o que se plantou,
3 tempo de matar e tempo de curar,
tempo de derrubar e tempo de construir,
4 tempo de chorar e tempo de rir,
tempo de prantear e tempo de dançar,
5 tempo de espalhar pedras
e tempo de ajuntá-las,
tempo de abraçar e tempo de se conter,
6 tempo de procurar e tempo de desistir,
tempo de guardar

Are you focused?!
Hello dear reader! How are you feeling today? I hope you re feeling good =)
These last days, to prioritize quality time and my physical and spiritual health, I had to put away my social media and other things that were robing my time and my peace of mind! And I thought it was a good topic to discuss with you guys!
Have you ever felt like this?! Overhelmed by distractions and busywork? I will guess the answer: Yes, right?
So today, I want to lead you to this reflection about focus. What are you focused in, lately? Are you putting all your efforts in one or two goals or your mind is all over the place?
Focus means, by definition: “a center of activity, attraction, or attention”, “directed attention : EMPHASIS“ or even “a state or condition permitting clear perception or understanding“(Merriam-Webster)
Distraction, on the other hand, is a thief! And one of the most precious gifts we have is TIME. Time it’s a powerful tool and, when well used, it is a blessing. The opposite is also true: If we are not wise about how we spend out time, our life can turn into chaos, we’ll miss the point!
I can’t tell how many times my busy mind lead me out of the way, making me crazy with all the distractions and useless thoughts! If I am not intentional with what thoughts I’ll allow to lead me, I can turn into a discouraged mess, very quickly!
I know that we all have a daily busy schedule, right? No matter if you are an employee in a company, a housewife with kids, or maybe you are a boss and have people to lead. The thing is, sometimes, we just have a lot in our plate, that’s for sure!
However, we can be wise and set our daily priorities! I don’t know about you, but as for me, one of my priorities is peace of mind and my health! Even when I have so much work to do, as a mother and homeoffice employee, sometimes I just have to drop everything out for 20 minutes and take a time to take care of myself!
How I do that? I take these 20 minutes breaks during the day to read my bible, pray or just practice some exercises like pilates or yoga, to relax! And I can tell, all those practices works very well shutting down my stress and tireness! It is a blessing to an overhelmed mind!
I encourage you to adopt some healthy daily practices for your body and mind! It could be just grab a cup of coffe and sit to enjoy the view, read a good book or practice a good indoors exercise! ( If you are in homeoffice, like me!). That will make wonders to your daily routine, I guarantee!
Now, if you are a Christian like me, I encourage you to take some time to focus on the voice of God, daily, in your quiet time. Step away from all the busywork, let it go with all the toxic thoughts( you can pray about it!), social media distractions and just rest on His Presence!
Spend some time reading and praying the Word of God and that will, definitely, help your mind to go light and easier through a heavy day! Don’t allow the distractions and other voices to rob that from you!
The time we spend with God is never wasted! It will cast away all the anxiety and fear of you , making your more focused and persistant!
Like it says in Hebrews 12:
“It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!” (Hebrews 12:1-3)
I hope that encourages you to stablish what it’s important through your day, focusing on the Voice of God, that will always lead you to the right direction and give you rest when you need it!
It’s up to you to decide what you’ll allow to enter into your heart and mind, what will feed your thoughts! So step alway from all distractions and choose to focus on God! Today and everyday!

Nestes últimos dias, para priorizar meu tempo de qualidade e minha saúde física e espiritual, tive que deixar de lado minhas redes sociais e outras coisas que estavam roubando meu tempo e minha paz de espírito! E eu achei esse um bom tópico para discutir com vocês!
Você já se sentiu assim?! Sobrecarregado por distrações e muito trabalho? Vou adivinhar a resposta: Sim, certo?
Então hoje, quero te levar a esta reflexão sobre foco. Em que você está focado ultimamente? Você está concentrando todos os seus esforços em um ou dois objetivos ou sua mente está totalmente confusa?
Foco significa, por definição: “um centro de atividade, atração ou atenção”, “atenção direcionada: Ênfase“ ou ainda “um estado ou condição que permite clara percepção ou compreensão” ( Merriam-Webster )
A distração, por outro lado , é uma ladra! E um dos presentes mais preciosos que temos é o TEMPO. O tempo é uma ferramenta poderosa e, quando bem utilizada, é uma bênção. O oposto também é verdadeiro: Se não formos sábios sobre como gastamos nosso tempo, nossa vida pode virar um caos, nós perdemos o sentido das coisas!
Nem posso contabilizar quantas vezes minha mente sobrecarregada me afastou do objetivo, me deixando louca com todas as distrações e pensamentos inúteis!
Se eu não for intencional com os pensamentos que eu permito que me conduzam, eu posso me tornar confusa e desencorajada, muito rapidamente!
Eu sei que todos nós temos uma agenda lotada, certo? Não importa se você é funcionário de uma empresa, dona de casa com filhos, ou talvez você seja chefe e tenha pessoas para liderar. O que acontece é que, às vezes, nós temos muito mais trabalho do que podemos gerenciar, com toda certeza!
No entanto, nós podemos ser sábios e definir nossas prioridades diárias! Não sei quanto a você, mas quanto a mim, uma das minhas prioridades é paz de espírito e a minha saúde! Mesmo quando tenho muito trabalho a fazer, como mãe e funcionária em homeoffice, às vezes, eu preciso largar tudo por 20 minutos e reservar um tempo para cuidar de mim mesma!
Como eu faço isso? Faço essas pausas de 20 minutos durante o dia para ler minha bíblia, orar ou apenas praticar alguns exercícios(como pilates ou ioga), para relaxar! E eu posso dizer, todas essas práticas funcionam muito bem contra o meu estress e cansaço! É uma bênção para uma mente sobrecarregada!
Eu o encorajo a adotar algumas práticas diárias saudáveis para o seu corpo e mente! Pode ser apenas pegar uma xícara de café e sentar para apreciar a vista, ler um bom livro ou praticar um bom exercício dentro de casa! (Se você estiver em homeoffice, como eu!). Isso fará maravilhas na sua rotina, eu garanto!
Agora, se você é cristão como eu, eu te encorajo a dedicar algum tempo para se concentrar na voz de Deus, diariamente, em sua tempo com Ele. Afaste-se da agenda lotada por um momento, deixe pra lá todos os pensamentos tóxicos (você pode orar sobre isso!), distrações nas redes sociais e apenas descanse na Presença Dele!
Passe algum tempo lendo e orando a Palavra de Deus! Isso, definitivamente, ajudará sua mente a ficar mais leve e será mais fácil enfrentar um dia pesado! Não permita que as distrações e outras vozes internas roubem isso de você!
O tempo que passamos com Deus nunca é perdido! Isso vai afastar toda a ansiedade e medo de você, tornando-o mais focado e persistente!
Como diz em Hebreus 12:
“...livremo-nos de tudo o que nos atrapalha e do pecado que nos envolve, e corramos com perseverança a corrida que nos é proposta, 2 tendo os olhos fitos em Jesus, autor e consumador da nossa fé. Ele, pela alegria que lhe fora proposta, suportou a cruz, desprezando a vergonha, e assentou-se à direita do trono de Deus. 3 Pensem bem naquele que suportou tal oposição dos pecadores contra si mesmo, para que vocês não se cansem nem desanimem.” ( Hebreus 12;1-3)
Espero que isso o incentive a estabelecer o que é importante ao longo do seu dia, focando na Voz de Deus, que te levará na direção certa e te dará descanso sempre que você precisar!
Cabe a você decidir o que você permitirá que entre no seu coração e na sua mente, o que alimentará seus pensamentos! Portanto, afaste-se de todas as distrações e opte por se concentrar em Deus! Hoje e todos os dias!

Hey friend! How are you doing?
If you are familiarized with Hannah’s story, you already know what I want to share today! Yes, waiting on the Lord!
This week I went through a devotional with the theme “Waiting well” and, since I know that everyone of us have hopes and dreams, all of us are waiting for something to happen, I thought it was a good thing to talk about!
Hannah was a barren woman who waited a long time for a baby! During this process, she was constantly humiliated by her rival, Penina, who was the other wife of her husband and had sons.
I think we can relate with some aspects of her story. During our journey of waiting, sometimes people will mock of us or will try to discourage us, testing our faith and trying to stop us of believing and waiting for a miracle!
However, some rivals in our journey can be a good thing! Why?!
Because rivals can push us through, so we can achieve our goals! They also reveal things that are hidden in our hearts!
If Hannah hadn’t Penina around her all the time, maybe she would settle in her hopeless situation. But instead, all the humiliations and provocations propelled her to a place of desperate faith in the Lord! She had to find strength and joy outside of her natural situation, laying all her hope and dreams on Him.
In another hand, we also have examples of bad waiting! People who were not so sure about the promises of God and tried to fix things in their own ways! Abraham was one of them: When the promise of a child was taken too long, he let his impatience take him to another direction, fathering a child of a woman that was not his wife.
Another example was David, that fled to Philistine because he was afraid that Saul would take his life. Because of that, he had to fight at the enemies’ side.
Waiting for God to will and act for us it is not an easy and always joyful journey. A lot of times, we get tired and discouraged; we are tempted to take things in our own hands! Extended languishing for what seems impossible is the perfect enviromment to loose our confidence in the Lord and act without wisdom or patience.
When time is uncertain and the waiting seems endless, that’s when we need to look at Jesus more than even, instead of looking to our hopeless circumstances! When doubts and frustration arises and God seems silent, we need to focus on what we know!
We know that God has good plans for us!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” Jeremiah 29:11
We know that He is faithful and sustain us:
“Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. 8 He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”
We know that when we are afraid, He encourages us along the way and lead us to victory:
“No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.” (Joshua 1)
We know that God never gives up. He finishes what He starts!
“being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”( Philipians 1:6)
We know that God take good care of those who fear Him:
“Surely the righteous will never be shaken;
they will be remembered forever.
They will have no fear of bad news;
their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;,
in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.” (Psalm 112:6-8)
Let’s take a deep breath and just seat at Jesus feet, when things get too crazy and overhelming! He can deal with our doubts and impatience, we just need to ask for His help!
I hope that encourages you to go to your daily battles with more confidence and a stronger faith in Lord’s faithfulness. We can do this!

A CANÇÃO DE ANA!
“Meu coração exulta no Senhor;

Ei amigo! Como você está?
Se você está familiarizado com a história de Ana, você já sabe o que quero compartilhar hoje! Sim, sobre esperar no Senhor!
Esta semana eu fiz um devocional com o tema “Esperando bem” e, como eu sei que cada um de nós tem esperanças e sonhos, que todos nós estamos esperando algo acontecer, achei que seria bom falar sobre isso!
Anna era uma mulher estéril que esperou muito tempo por um bebê! Durante esse processo, ela foi constantemente humilhada por sua rival, Penina, que era a outra esposa de seu marido, e que tinha filhos.
Acho que podemos nos identificar com alguns aspectos da história dela. Durante nossa jornada de espera, às vezes, as pessoas zombam de nós ou tentam nos desencorajar, testando nossa fé e tentando nos impedir de acreditar e esperar por um milagre!
No entanto, alguns rivais em nossa jornada podem ser uma coisa boa! Por quê?!
Porque os rivais podem nos empurrar na direção dos nossos objetivos. Além disso, eles também revelam coisas que estão escondidas no nosso coração!
Se Anna não tivesse Penina por perto o tempo todo, talvez ela tivesse se acomodado em sua situação desesperadora. Mas, em vez disso, todas as humilhações e provocações a impeliram a um lugar de fé desesperada no Senhor! Ela teve que encontrar força e alegria fora de sua situação natural, depositando todas as suas esperanças e sonhos Nele.
Por outro lado, também temos exemplos de uma má espera! Pessoas que não tinham tanta certeza sobre as promessas de Deus e tentaram consertar as coisas à sua maneira! Abraão foi um deles: quando a promessa de um filho demorou muito, ele deixou sua impaciência levá-lo a outra direção, sendo pai de outro filho, de uma mulher que não era sua esposa.
Outro exemplo foi Davi, que fugiu para a terra dos filisteus, porque temia que Saul o matasse. Por causa disso, ele teve que lutar ao lado dos inimigos.
Esperar que Deus queira e aja por nós não é uma jornada fácil ou sempre alegre. Muitas vezes, ficamos cansados e desanimados; somos tentados a resolver as coisas pelas nossas próprias mãos! A angústia prolongada pelo que parece impossível, é o ambiente perfeito para perder nossa confiança no Senhor e agir sem sabedoria ou paciência.
Quando o tempo é incerto e a espera parece interminável, é quando precisamos olhar para Jesus mais do que nunca, em vez de olhar para nossas circunstâncias desesperadoras! Quando surgem dúvidas e frustrações e Deus parece estar em silêncio, precisamos nos concentrar no que sabemos!
Sabemos que Deus tem bons planos para nós!
“Pois eu sei os planos que tenho para você”, declara o Senhor, “planos para prosperá-lo e não prejudicá-lo, planos para lhe dar esperança e um futuro. Então você me chamará e virá orar a mim, e eu te ouvirei. “Jeremias 29:11
Sabemos que Ele é fiel e nos sustenta:
“Portanto, não te falta nenhum dom espiritual enquanto espera ansiosamente que nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo seja revelado. 8 Ele também vai mantê-lo firme até o fim, para que você seja irrepreensível no dia de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. 9 Deus é fiel, que o chamou para a comunhão com seu Filho, Jesus Cristo nosso Senhor. “
Sabemos que quando temos medo, Ele nos encoraja ao longo do caminho e nos leva à vitória:
“Ninguém será capaz de se opor a você todos os dias de sua vida. Assim como estive com Moisés, estarei com você. Não te deixarei nem te desampararei. 6 Seja forte e corajoso, porque você levará esse povo a herdar a terra que jurei aos seus ancestrais dar a eles.” (Josué 1)
Sabemos que Deus nunca desiste. Ele termina o que começa!
“estando certo disso, que aquele que começou uma boa obra em você, a levará a cabo até o dia de Cristo Jesus.” (Filipenses 1: 6)
Sabemos que Deus cuida bem daqueles que o temem:
“Certamente os justos nunca serão fortemente abalados;
eles serão lembrados para sempre.
7 Eles não terão medo de más notícias;
seus corações estão constantes, confiando no Senhor.
8 Seus corações estão seguros, eles não terão medo;
no final, eles olharão em triunfo para seus inimigos. ” (Salmo 112: 6-8)
Então, vamos respirar fundo e apenas nos sentar aos pés de Jesus, quando as coisas ficarem muito loucas e pesadas de suportar! Ele pode lidar com nossas dúvidas e impaciência, só precisamos pedir a Sua ajuda!
Espero que isso tenha te encorajado a ir para as suas batalhas diárias com mais confiança e uma fé mais forte na fidelidade do Senhor. Nós podemos fazer isso!

It is not too late!
“Beloved, I have placed destiny within you. When you feel dreams stirring and you cannot escape them, run with them. Stop making excuses for why your dreams haven’t been realized. Seek me for wisdom. If you truly want to see those dreams come to pass, it’s going to take effort and commitment. It’s time to be the best version of you that you can be. Make a habit of diligence. Make a habit of running after your dreams. You’re worthy and capable!
It’s up to you to choose the greater desires over the temporary distractions. Walk away from the things that waste your time, and choose to go after what you most desire. Today I decided to share this amazing devotional “I hear his whisper“, to remind you that it is not too late! It is not too late to follow your dreams.
All of us have dreams and plans that we keep deep inside. Dreams that, sometimes, seems so impossible that we bury them and just forget about it, right?
However, God is encouraging us today: I want you to go after your dreams, I believe in you! All the troubles we may face in this life can be perceive on differents perspectives: We can see it as a barrer that will be in our way stoping us OR, it can be a exercise to train us, so we can be more diligent and have a stronger faith!
As for me, I can say that even I am facing an unknown future in my professional carrer right now, I know that God is preparing me and giving me TIME. Time that I can choose to spend wisely, enjoyng my family, studying His Word and also, doing something that I love: Writting.
If life is giving you a hard time, use it to build some muscles! Look at things and situations as opportunities to develop abilities you don’t have yet or to improve those you already have!
You are not too young, too broken or too old to fulfiil your dreams! You are exactly where you supposed to be!(If you believe that God is in control of your life) And you can enjoy it and learn from your circumstances, using the tools and opportunities you already have to grow stronger!
It is not too late my friend, keep believing. Our God is the God of the impossible!
“For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace.” James 1:3-5

Não é tarde demais!
“Amado, Eu coloquei o destino dentro de você. Quando sentir os sonhos se agitando e não puder escapar deles, corra com eles. Pare de inventar desculpas para explicar o porquê seus sonhos não foram realizados. Procure-me para obter sabedoria. Se você realmente deseja que esses sonhos se realizem, será necessário esforço e comprometimento. É a hora de ser a melhor versão possível de você mesmo. Crie um hábito de diligência. Olá querido leitor(a)!
Hoje eu decidi compartilhar este devocional incrível “Eu ouço seu sussurro“, para te lembrar que não é tarde demais! Não é tarde para seguir seus sonhos.
Todos nós temos sonhos e planos que guardamos bem lá no fundo. Sonhos que, às vezes parecem tão impossíveis que nós os enterramos e simplesmente esquecemos deles, não é?
No entanto, Deus está nos encorajando hoje: Eu quero que você vá atrás de seus sonhos, eu acredito em você! Todos os problemas que possamos enfrentar nesta vida podem ser percebidos de diferentes maneiras: Podemos vê-los como barreiras que bloqueiam nosso caminho OU, podemos encará-los como um exercício, que está nos treinando para sermos mais diligentes e ter uma fé inabalável!
Quanto a mim, eu posso dizer que mesmo enfrentando um futuro incerto na minha vida profissional no momento, eu sei que Deus está me preparando e me dando TEMPO. Tempo que posso escolher gastar com sabedoria, curtindo minha família, estudando Sua Palavra e também, fazendo algo que eu amo: Escrever.
Se a vida está te dando um surra, use-a para construir alguns músculos! Veja as coisas e situações como oportunidades para desenvolver habilidades que você ainda não tem ou para melhorar as que você já tem!
Você não é muito jovem, muito quebrado ou muito velho para realizar seus sonhos! Você está exatamente onde deveria estar! (Se você acredita que Deus está no controle de sua vida) E você pode aproveitar e aprender agora, usando as ferramentas e oportunidades que você já tem!
Não é tarde demais, meu amigo, continue acreditando. Nosso Deus é o Deus do impossível!
“pois vocês sabem que a prova da sua fé produz perseverança. E a perseverança deve ter ação completa, a fim de que vocês sejam maduros e íntegros, sem lhes faltar coisa alguma. Se algum de vocês tem falta de sabedoria, peça-a a Deus, que a todos dá livremente, de boa vontade; e lhe será concedida.” Tiago 1:3-5
