What it means to live a plentiful life?

Have you ever asked yourself if you are living and experiencing the very best thing life has to offer?!

Life is not always pleasing or easy, it is true. That’s why there are moments in life when we question ourselves: Am I living the life I supposed to live?! Is that everything or there is more? It is normal to question ourselves and reflect about what it means to live a life with purpose and joy.

In Mathew 5:13-16, Jesus says:

“Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.“

Here we see a glimpse of our true purpose on this Earth: We are here to reveal God’s colors and flavors to the world, not only reveal, but also to experience and preserve it, in it’s fulness. How amazing is that?!

When we surrender our lives to Jesus and we receive the Holy Spirit in us, it is like an awakening! We start to see and realize that everything God did and created has a purpose in our lives, we have free access to a new reality, the original plan of God for mankind! We don’t need to live a limited life, in God you and I, are a new creation and this partnership with the Holy Spirit takes us to a new level of perception and freedom!

We are here to show that to others! To preserve the essence of God, all His goodness and faithfulness; through our relationship with others, through everything we say and do. We are the light-beares, those who will say to people walking lost in the darkness: “Hey, this is the way, come here!”

We are those who will show what it means to have a healthy identity, a healthy family and relationships. Because we are not relying on human patterns, we are not seeking for approoval or recognition. We know who we are in Christ, and that is enough! Our house were built on a firm foundation.

However, it is ok to feel that we are not living our best in some seasons, all of us struggle sometimes. The difference between us and those who are living in darkness, is that we are not meant to give up, we will not be destroyed by bad circumstances, the puropose of our lives will prevail, because the One who is truth and light, live inside of us and helps us in everything we need!

Remember: You are here to experience and to point out the truth colors and essence of God! You are an embassador of Christ, a light stand on a hilltop, so let he shine through you!

We are here “to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth.” and people around us are expectant for it, even when they don’t realize what they are lookinf for. You can be the person who will show them the way, that will offer this amazing free ticket to a feast on God’s royal table.

And when things in our lives are not going so great as we expected, let’s remember Jesus’ encouragement to all of us, His followers:

“You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.

“You’re blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.

“You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought.

“You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.

“You’re blessed when you care. At the moment of being ‘care-full,’ you find yourselves cared for.

“You’re blessed when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.

“You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family.

“You’re blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God’s kingdom.

“Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer, even!—for though they don’t like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble.” Mathew 5:3-12

Cores, sabores e essência!

O que significa viver uma vida plena?!

Você já se perguntou se está vivendo e experimentando o melhor que a vida tem a oferecer?!

A vida nem sempre é agradável ou fácil, é verdade. É por isso que existem momentos na vida em que nos questionamos: Será que estou vivendo a vida que eu deveria viver?! Isso é tudo ou tem mais? É normal nos questionarmos e refletirmos sobre o que significa viver uma vida com propósito e alegria.

Em Mateus 5:13-16, Jesus diz:

“Deixe-me dizer por que você está aqui. Você está aqui para ser o tempero do sal que traz à tona os sabores divinos desta terra. Se você perder o seu sabor salgado, como as pessoas sentirão o sabor da divindade? Você perdeu sua utilidade e acabará no lixo.

“Aqui está outra maneira de colocar isso: você está aqui para ser luz, revelando as cores de Deus ao mundo. Deus não é um segredo a ser guardado. Vamos tornar isso público, tão público quanto uma cidade em uma colina. Se eu fizer de vocês portadores de luz, vocês não acham que vou escondê-los debaixo de um balde, acham? Estou colocando você em um suporte de luz. Agora que coloquei você lá no topo de uma colina, em um suporte de luz – brilhe! Mantenha a casa aberta; sejam generosos com suas vidas. Ao se abrir para os outros, você vai levar as pessoas a se abrirem com Deus, este generoso Pai do céu”.

Aqui temos um vislumbre de nosso verdadeiro propósito nesta Terra: Estamos aqui para revelar as cores e sabores de Deus ao mundo, não apenas revelar, mas também experimentá-los e preservá-los em sua plenitude. Quão incrível é isso?

Quando entregamos nossas vidas a Jesus e recebemos o Espírito Santo em nós, é como despertar! Passamos a ver e perceber que tudo o que Deus fez e criou tem um propósito em nossas vidas, temos livre acesso a uma nova realidade, o plano original de Deus para a humanidade! Não precisamos viver uma vida limitada. Em Deus você é uma nova criação e essa parceria com o Espírito Santo te leva a um novo patamar de percepção e liberdade!

Estamos aqui para mostrar isso aos outros! Preservar a essência de Deus, toda a Sua bondade e fidelidade, através do nosso relacionamento com os outros, através de tudo o que dizemos e fazemos. Nós somos os portadores da luz, aqueles que dirão para as pessoas que caminham perdidas na escuridão: “Ei, este é o caminho, venha cá!”

Somos nós que mostraremos o que significa ter uma identidade saudável, uma família e relacionamentos saudáveis. Como não dependemos de padrões humanos, não buscamos aprovação ou reconhecimento dos outros. Sabemos quem nós somos em Cristo, e isso basta! Nossa casa foi construída sobre um alicerce firme.

No entanto, é normal sentir que não estamos vivendo o nosso melhor em algumas temporadas, todos nós temos lutas e dificuldades. A diferença entre nós e aqueles que vivem nas trevas é que não fomos feitos pra desistir, não seremos destruídos pelas más circunstâncias, o propósito de nossas vidas prevalecerá! Pois Aquele que é a verdade e a luz mora dentro de nós e nos ajuda em tudo que precisamos!

Lembre-se: você está aqui para experimentar e apontar as verdadeiras cores e a essência de Deus! Você é um embaixador de Cristo, uma luz no topo de uma colina, então deixe que Ele brilhe através de você!

Estamos aqui “para ser o sal que traz à tona os sabores divinos desta terra”. e as pessoas ao nosso redor estão ansiosas por isso, mesmo quando não percebem o que estão procurando. Você pode ser a pessoa que lhes mostrará o caminho, que oferecerá este incrível e gratuito convite para um banquete na mesa real de Deus.

E quando as coisas em nossas vidas não estiverem indo tão bem quanto esperávamos, vamos nos lembrar do encorajamento de Jesus a todos nós, Seus seguidores:

“Você é abençoado quando está no fim de sua corda. Com menos de você, há mais de Deus e seu governo.“

“Você é abençoado quando sente que perdeu o que é mais querido para você. Só então você pode ser abraçado por Aquele que lhe é mais querido.

“Você é abençoado quando está contente com quem você é – nem mais, nem menos. Esse é o momento em que você se vê como orgulhoso proprietário de tudo o que não pode ser comprado.

“Você é abençoado quando desenvolve um bom apetite por Deus. Ele é comida e bebida na melhor refeição que você já comeu.

“Você é abençoado quando se importa. No momento de ser ‘cuidadoso’ para com o outro, você se vê cuidado.

“Você é abençoado quando consegue acertar seu mundo interior – sua mente e coração. Então você pode ver Deus no mundo exterior.

“Você é abençoado quando pode mostrar às pessoas como cooperar em vez de competir ou lutar. É quando você descobre quem você realmente é e seu lugar na família de Deus.

“Você é abençoado quando seu compromisso com Deus provoca perseguição. A perseguição leva você ainda mais fundo no reino de Deus.

“Não apenas isso – considerem-se abençoados toda vez que as pessoas os rebaixam ou os expulsam ou falam mentiras sobre vocês para me desacreditar. O que isso significa é que a verdade está muito próxima para o conforto e eles estão desconfortáveis. Você pode ficar feliz quando isso acontecer – até mesmo aplaudir! – pois embora eles não gostem, eu gosto! E todo o céu aplaude. E saiba que você está em boa companhia. Meus profetas e testemunhas sempre se meteram nesse tipo de problema.” Mateus 5:3-12

Hello dear reader! How are you doing?

Acepting the suggestion from WordPress for today’s topic(‘cause sometimes, ideas runs off), I want to share with you some thoughts about what I’ve learned, in this journey called life, about LOVE.

Well, I have to divide this answer in two parts because, untill my 30″s I thought love was a overrated word and to be honest, I didn’t believed in love. The fact is I were not, in several levels in my life, experiencing love. But there was a reason for that: I was hurt and I lived many years running away from people and opportunities to experience love and to show love. I was so traumatized that I’d prefer to hide.

According to the merriam-webster, some definitons of love are:

1.A strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties;

2.Attraction based on sexual desire : affection and tenderness felt by lovers;

3. Affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests;

4. An assurance of affection.

Let me clarify something, before I continue: I don’t believe anymore in this narrative that “love is a feeling” that changes our lives for a while and, eventually, runs off, making us start all over again, trying to reach just a glimpse of what it really means. That is basically what most people says about love, right? That you need to find it, in someone or something, but you need to be aware that it could end at any moment and, it’s up to you to keep looking for it, into the next person or opportunity.

This kind of conception never really worked in my life. I was not only hurt, I was living a selfish life, because I was trying to protect myself from more disappointments. Most of all, I din’t believe I could change. I was living in survival mode and when you’re living like this, you can’t see anything beyond your pain and own necessities, even this misconcepted way of love would not work for me. I felt nothing.

However, when things got really unbeareble in my life, I decided to look inside to try to figure out what was wrong with me, I knew the problem was in, not out. At that moment of deep dispair, I remembered something I’d listen over and over during my childhood and early teenagers days: There was a redemptive kind of love.

I was so at the end of my rope that I decided to give it a shot, so I said: “Ok God, if you are there, somewhere beyond, if you really see me here, please do something, I need your help. I don’t know what to do anymore”. It was a desperate prayer, I didn’t know if it would work, but I remembered God was an “option” and what the people in church used to say about Christ, what he did for me, so I had to try.

Long story short, that prayer really started to change my life. From that day on, God rescued me from that dark place and showed me, continually, what LOVE really means: Love is not a feeling, love is a person. I’ts God chosing to empty himself from all His power and steping down to rescue you and me. Love is what Christ did on that cross, and if you believe it, it changes everything.

That means LOVE is not volatile, it does not runs dry. It is God personified in Christ, the same God who created you and me from dust and blowed inside of us His life and who also offers us a purpose. And the most incredible thing about it is that we didn’t do anything to deserve it. He just chose us.

What I’ve learned about love is: It starts with redemption, through the person of Jesus Christ, and it grows stronger through a relationship that involves trust, resilience, renouncements(you need to realize that you are a new person now, walking a new path) and a deep healing, that leads us to our destiny. You and I were created for love, not this kind of love that are here one day and disapears with our feelings on the other. It is solid-based in truth, is everlasting, forgiving and transformative.

Love makes you want to be different, selfless, free. Love does not seek it’s own interests. Love is patient, love is kind.

Amor, e o que eu aprendi com ele.

Aceitando a sugestão do WordPress para o tema de hoje, eu quero partilhar com vocês algumas reflexões sobre o que aprendi, nessa louca viagem chamada vida, sobre o AMOR.

Bem, na verdade eu tenho que dividir esta resposta em duas partes porque, até os meus 30 anos eu achava que amor era uma palavra superestimada e para ser sincera, eu não acreditava no amor. O fato é que eu não estava, em vários níveis da minha vida, experimentando o amor. Mas havia uma razão para isso: Eu estava machucada e vivi muitos anos fugindo das pessoas e das oportunidades de amar e de experimentar o amor. Fiquei tão traumatizada que preferi me esconder.

De acordo com o Merriam-webster, algumas definições de amor são:

1. Uma forte afeição por outro decorrente de parentesco ou laços pessoais;

2.Atração baseada no desejo sexual : carinho e ternura sentidos pelos amantes;

3. Afeto baseado em admiração, benevolência ou interesses comuns;

4. Uma garantia de afeto.

Deixe-me esclarecer uma coisa, antes de continuar: não acredito mais nessa narrativa de que “amor é um sentimento” que muda nossas vidas por um tempo e, eventualmente desaparece, nos fazendo começar tudo de novo, tentando alcançar apenas um vislumbre do que ele realmente significa. Isso é basicamente o que a maioria das pessoas diz sobre o amor, certo? Que você precisa encontrá-lo, em alguém ou em alguma coisa, mas precisa estar ciente de que isso pode acabar a qualquer momento e, cabe a você continuar procurando, na próxima pessoa ou oportunidade.

Esse tipo de concepção nunca funcionou pra mim. Eu não estava apenas magoada, mas levando uma vida egoísta, eu estava tentando me proteger de mais decepções. Acima de tudo, eu acreditava que eu não poderia mudar. Eu estava vivendo no modo “sobrevivência” e quando você está vivendo assim, você não consegue ver nada além de sua dor e suas próprias necessidades, mesmo essa forma equivocada de amor não funcionava para mim. Eu não sentia nada.

Porém, quando as coisas ficaram realmente insuportáveis em minha vida, resolvi olhar para dentro para tentar descobrir o que havia de errado comigo, eu sabia que o problema estava dentro, não fora. Naquele momento de profundo desespero, lembrei-me de algo que eu ouvia repetidamente durante minha infância e início da adolescência: Havia um tipo de amor redentor.

Eu estava tão no fim da linha que decidi tentar, então eu disse: “Ok Deus, se você está aí, em algum lugar além, se você realmente me vê aqui, por favor, faça alguma coisa, eu preciso da sua ajuda. Não sei mais o que fazer”. Foi uma oração desesperada, não sabia se daria certo, mas lembrei que Deus era uma “opção” e o que as pessoas na igreja falavam sobre Cristo, o que ele fez por mim, então eu tinha que tentar.

Para encurtar a história, aquela oração realmente começou a mudar minha vida. Daquele dia em diante, Deus me resgatou daquele lugar escuro e me mostrou, continuamente, o que realmente significa AMOR: O amor não é um sentimento, o amor é uma pessoa. É Deus escolhendo se esvaziar de todo o Seu poder e se fazendo carne, para resgatar você e eu. Amor é o que Cristo fez naquela cruz, e se você acreditar, isso muda tudo.

Isso significa que o AMOR não é volátil, não seca. É Deus personificado em Cristo, o mesmo Deus que criou você e eu do pó e soprou dentro de nós Sua vida e que também nos oferece um propósito. E o mais incrível disso tudo é que não fizemos nada para merecer. Ele apenas nos escolheu.

O que aprendi sobre o amor é: Ele começa com a redenção, por meio da pessoa de Jesus Cristo, e se fortalece por meio de um relacionamento que envolve confiança, resiliência, renúncias (porque agora você entende que é uma nova pessoa, trilhando um novo caminho) e uma cura profunda, que nos conduz ao nosso destino. Você e eu fomos criados para o amor, não esse tipo de amor que um dia está aqui e no outro desaparece, como os nossos sentimentos. É sólido, firmado na verdade, é eterno, perdoador e transformador.

O amor faz você querer ser diferente, altruísta, livre. O amor não busca seus próprios interesses. O amor é paciente, o amor é gentil.

Dazed and confused.

Dear generation, I know this present time can feel overhelming! We are all so fed up with a variety of informations, opinions, teories and conspiracy. There are so many roads that we don’t know wich way to go. Are you tired?!

Are you sick of living a purposeless, empty life? Are you tired of being labeled? People say that you are giving up. That fear and anxiety are overtaking you, that you are the most confused and unsatisfied generation of all. How long you are going to put up with this?

Can you hear a voice inside of you, calling you to more? Insisting that you were born to live a meaninful life? You can choose to surrender to despair and just give up or you can fight and believe there is more on the other side of this wall of bad news and anger!

Are you ready to give up of everything you thought you knew, to step into something greater? That requires boldness and courage! But this is the time to risk everything that seems “secure” to enter in the amazing unknown, that can lead you to where you always wanted to go!

Dear generation, it is not the end yet. You can say yes to a new path, a new way of thinking and living that is completely counter-cultural. You can choose to rebel against this fallen system.

Isn’t that what the younger generations always wanted to do?!

You can decide to live the best of times or keep drowning in the worst of it. You are called to a life of surrender, where we can undress ourselves of every burden, masks and every lie, to be what you were creted to be: Sons and daughters of Light, embassadors of the Truth.

Dear generation, you are called for more!

Don’t be afraid! All you have to do is to embrace a simple YES, that will change your history forever. Leave behind the old and the known to step into something new and greater than anything you could ever dream of!

You were created and called for a life of adventure!

What is the purpose of suffering?!

Hey friend! How are you doing?

If you are not doing so well lately, struggling in your own battles, I hope this post bring you some comfort!

Today I was reflecting about some of my current struggles and wondering: Why do we have, in some seasons of life, the same battle over and over?!

Life is hard, we know. We all have our own issues and we have to figure things out, eventually. But, what I was trying to understand, while I talked with God was: Why this same battle everytime? Can’t you give me something different?! After I asked this dumb question to God, I realized that, it is not so bad that God is giving me the same battles everytime. At least, I am becoming better in trusting Him on this matter, and if I think about it, my battles could be worse. So I stopped complaining.

I immediately remembered this passage, in James 1, that says:

“Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.

^5-8If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.“

This passage makes it very clear that we are not suffering in vain! Actually, it is a privilege to suffer under God’s will!! When we choose to live a life that pleases God and we are walking with Him, the tests will come, it is part of the training. God is disciplining us like his true children , so we can be like He is: holy! The good news is that we can always ask for help. He is willing to help us in every situation, we just need to ask in faith!

Nothing that we are going through is without a purpose, God has a plan and a right time for everything! Remember that every time you feel discouraged by the battles you are facing: We are being trained, perfected by the flames of afliction, to be strong and courageous, like God created us to be!

And when we finally overcome the struggle we are facing now, we will be able to help others, encouraging and guiding them into the right direction! The challenges we overcome in every area, gives us the authority to live well and wisely, helping others, who are dealing with the same issues. That’s what we are called to do, as body of Christ!

Hebrews 12:7-8/11:13 says:

“God is educating you; that’s why you must never drop out. He’s treating you as dear children. This trouble you’re in isn’t punishment; it’s training, the normal experience of children. Only irresponsible parents leave children to fend for themselves. Would you prefer an irresponsible God? We respect our own parents for training and not spoiling us, so why not embrace God’s training so we can truly live? While we were children, our parents did what seemed best to them. But God is doing what is best for us, training us to live God’s holy best. At the time, discipline isn’t much fun. It always feels like it’s going against the grain. Later, of course, it pays off big-time, for it’s the well-trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God.

So don’t sit around on your hands! No more dragging your feet! Clear the path for long-distance runners so no one will trip and fall, so no one will step in a hole and sprain an ankle. Help each other out. And run for it!“

Every time you feel tempted to give up, that you feel overhelmed, just remember and declare this passage over you! God gave us His Word as a sword, we can use it in our battles, fighting back all the pain, disbelief and dispair the enemy wants to throw in our direction! Lift up you shield of faith and keep walking! God has enable us to do it!

I pray this will stengthen your heart and that God will give you the wisdom and faith to overcome your battles, using all the spiritual weapons He already gave us! Don’t lose heart friend, keep fighting, we will get there!

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ¹³Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. “(…) And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” (Ephesians 6:12-18)

Qual é o propósito do sofrimento?!

Ei, amigo! Como você está?

Se você não está indo tão bem ultimamente, lutando suas próprias batalhas, espero que este post lhe traga algum conforto!

Hoje eu estava refletindo sobre algumas das minhas lutas e me perguntando: Por que nós enfrentamos, em algumas épocas da vida, a mesma batalha repetidas vezes?!

A vida é dura, eu sei. Todos nós temos nossos próprios problemas e temos que descobrir como lidar com eles, eventualmente. Mas, o que eu estava tentando entender, enquanto eu conversava com Deus, era: “Por que essa mesma batalha todas as vezes? Você não pode me dar algo diferente?!” Depois que eu fiz essa pergunta idiota a Deus, percebi que não é tão ruim assim o fato de que Deus está me dando as mesmas batalhas, repetidamente. Pelo menos, eu estou me tornando melhor em confiar nEle neste assunto e, se eu pensar bem sobre isso, minhas batalhas poderiam ser piores. Então eu resolvi parar de reclamar.

Imediatamente, eu me lembrei desta passagem, em Tiago 1, que diz:

“Meus irmãos, considerem motivo de grande alegria sempre que passarem por qualquer tipo de provação, ³pois sabem que, quando sua fé é provada, a perseverança tem a oportunidade de crescer. ⁴E é necessário que ela cresça, pois quando estiver plenamente desenvolvida vocês serão maduros^[a] e completos, sem que nada lhes falte.

⁵Se algum de vocês precisar de sabedoria, peça a nosso Deus generoso, e receberá. Ele não os repreenderá por pedirem. ⁶Mas, quando pedirem, façam-no com fé, sem vacilar, pois aquele que duvida é como a onda do mar, empurrada e agitada pelo vento. ⁷Ele não deve esperar receber coisa alguma do Senhor, ⁸pois tem a mente dividida e é instável em tudo que faz.“

Esta passagem deixa bem claro que não estamos sofrendo em vão! Na verdade, é um privilégio sofrer sob a vontade de Deus!! Quando escolhemos viver uma vida que agrada a Deus e estamos caminhando com Ele, as provas virão, faz parte do treinamento. Deus está nos disciplinando como seus verdadeiros filhos, para que possamos ser como Ele é: santo! A boa notícia é que sempre podemos pedir ajuda. Ele está disposto a nos ajudar em todas as situações, só precisamos pedir com fé!

Nada do que estamos passando é sem propósito, Deus tem um plano e um tempo certo para tudo! Lembre-se disso toda vez que você se sentir desencorajado pelas batalhas que está enfrentando: Estamos sendo treinados, aperfeiçoados pela fornalha da aflição, para sermos fortes e corajosos, como Deus nos criou para ser e isso nos habilita para o nosso futuro!

E quando finalmente superarmos a luta que estamos enfrentando agora, poderemos ajudar os outros, incentivando-os e guiando-os na direção certa! Os desafios que superamos em todas as áreas nos dão autoridade para viver e sabedoria, ajudando outros que estão lidando com os mesmos problemas. É isso que somos chamados a fazer, como corpo de Cristo!

Hebreus 12:7-8/ 11:13 diz:

“Enquanto suportam essa disciplina de Deus, lembrem-se de que ele os trata como filhos. Quem já ouviu falar de um filho que nunca foi disciplinado pelo pai? ⁸Se Deus não os disciplina como faz com todos os seus filhos, significa que vocês não são filhos de verdade, mas ilegítimos.”(...) “Nenhuma disciplina é agradável no momento em que é aplicada; ao contrário, é dolorosa. Mais tarde, porém, produz uma colheita de vida justa e de paz para os que assim são corrigidos.¹²Portanto, revigorem suas mãos cansadas e seus joelhos enfraquecidos. ¹³Façam caminhos retos para seus pés a fim de que os mancos não caiam, mas sejam fortalecido.”

Toda vez que você se sentir tentado a desistir, que você se sentir sobrecarregado, apenas lembre-se e declare esta passagem sobre você! Deus nos deu Sua Palavra como uma espada, podemos usá-la em nossas batalhas, lutando contra toda dor, descrença e desespero que o inimigo quer lançar em nossa direção! Levante seu escudo de fé e continue caminhando! Deus nos capacitou para isso!

Eu oro para que essa palavra fortaleça seu coração e que Deus lhe dê sabedoria e fé para vencer suas batalhas, usando todas as armas espirituais que Ele já te deu! Não perca o ânimo, amigo. Continue lutando, nós chegaremos lá!

¹²Pois nós não lutamos^[b] contra inimigos de carne e sangue, mas contra governantes e autoridades do mundo invisível, contra grandes poderes neste mundo de trevas e contra espíritos malignos nas esferas celestiais.

¹³Portanto, vistam toda a armadura de Deus, para que possam resistir ao inimigo no tempo do mal. Então, depois da batalha, vocês continuarão de pé e firmes. ¹⁴Assim, mantenham sua posição, colocando o cinto da verdade e a couraça da justiça. ¹⁵Como calçados, usem a paz das boas-novas, para que estejam inteiramente preparados.^[c] ¹⁶Em todas as situações, levantem o escudo da fé, para deter as flechas de fogo do maligno. ¹⁷Usem a salvação como capacete e empunhem a espada do Espírito, que é a palavra de Deus.¹⁸Orem no Espírito em todos os momentos e ocasiões. Permaneçam atentos e sejam persistentes em suas orações por todo o povo santo.” (Efésios 6:12-18)

Hey you! How are you doing these days? I hope you are doing well but, in case you are not, I want to encourage to give a deep thought about it: The processes of life that causes us pain!

It could be a variety of situations, including: Loss, loneliness, lack of purpose or an ilness, for example! All of us already face it or will face it, eventually!

However, a wise man, long time ago, wrote that pain and lost can be good to our souls! This kind of experience teachs us to face life from another perspective, more deeply aware of what it valuable and what is not. I hope it encouges you:

“A good name is better than fine perfume,
    and the day of death better than the day of birth.
²It is better to go to a house of mourning
    than to go to a house of feasting,
for death is the destiny of everyone;
    the living should take this to heart.
³Frustration is better than laughter,
    because a sad face is good for the heart.
⁴The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning,
    but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure.
⁵It is better to heed the rebuke of a wise person
    than to listen to the song of fools.
⁶Like the crackling of thorns under the pot,
    so is the laughter of fools.
    This too is meaningless.

⁷Extortion turns a wise person into a fool,
and a bribe corrupts the heart.

⁸The end of a matter is better than its beginning,
and patience is better than pride.
⁹Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit,
for anger resides in the lap of fools.

¹⁰Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?”
For it is not wise to ask such questions.

¹¹Wisdom, like an inheritance, is a good thing
    and benefits those who see the sun.
¹²Wisdom is a shelter

but the advantage of knowledge is this:

Who can straighten

Therefore, no one can discover
    anything about their future.

¹⁵In this meaningless life of mine I have seen both of these:

the righteous perishing in their righteousness,
    and the wicked living long in their wickedness.
¹⁶Do not be overrighteous,
    neither be overwise—
    why destroy yourself?
¹⁷Do not be overwicked,
    and do not be a fool—
    why die before your time?
¹⁸It is good to grasp the one
    and not let go of the other.
    Whoever fears God will avoid all extremes.

¹⁹Wisdom makes one wise person more powerful
than ten rulers in a city.

²⁰Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous,
no one who does what is right and never sins.

²¹Do not pay attention to every word people say,
or you may hear your servant cursing you—
²²for you know in your heart
that many times you yourself have cursed others.

²³All this I tested by wisdom and I said,

“I am determined to be wise”—
    but this was beyond me.
²⁴Whatever exists is far off and most profound—
    who can discover it?
²⁵So I turned my mind to understand,
    to investigate and to search out wisdom and the scheme of things
and to understand the stupidity of wickedness
    and the madness of folly.

²⁶I find more bitter than death
    the woman who is a snare,
whose heart is a trap
    and whose hands are chains.
The man who pleases God will escape her,
    but the sinner she will ensnare.

²⁷“Look,” says the Teacher, “this is what I have discovered:

“Adding one thing to another to discover the scheme of things—
²⁸    while I was still searching
    but not finding—
I found one upright man among a thousand,
    but not one upright woman among them all.
²⁹This only have I found:
    God created mankind upright,
    but they have gone in search of many schemes.”

In this chapter of Ecclesiates we learn a great and bitter lesson: Pain and suffering are better than an easy life!

Even though no one of us like to experience pain and grief, those kind of seasons in our lives teaches us a lot of good things. For example, the pain of losing someone to death shows us that our time here is limited(and precious!). We need to remember it always, so we can make good long-term decisions and appreciate the people we have in our lives!

Pain in the most different situations, also teaches us to be more aware of what life it’s all about: We are here for limited time but to live with purpose! And in the middle of pain, we can learn from it! Unlike joy, which distracts and anesthetizes us, pain makes us more aware of the reality of life: The difference between good and bad, good and bad, peace and restlessness!

We learn to be more patient, to be more grateful for what we already overcame, we can learn to be less foolish, appreciating what really matters instead of what it is superficial! Essence, and deep roots, instead of appearance,fast satisfaction or social acceptance.

It also shows us that balance is better than extremes: We don’t need to win arguments every time, we don’t need to be sure about everything and we don’t need to pretend that we are fine all the time, that we got everything together. There is power in vulnerability!

When we go through these difficult seasons of pain, we also learn to trust more in God and lean on Him. Because in some scenarios of life, there is no other option anyways. It is Him or nothing! He is the one who will keep us standing after the battles. We learn it usualy in a hard way, but is is good when we look back! His faithfulness remains in the middle of our pain and chaos.

If I can be really honest, I have to say that this year didn’t start very well for me. I was hoping for opened doors, but it shutted into my face.I saw things that I didn’t wanted to see, because that turned my castle of sand down and made me sad.

It is not easy but, in the middle of all this proccess, I have these moments of clarity, where I can think (and really believe in it): “God is making me stronger through all this challenges, He is delivering me from traps of ilusions, not giving me what I wanted.”

He is good after all, and I am going to reap good fruits at the right time, all what I am sowing during these seasons of waiting, through my obedience and surrender! It is true, I know. God will not disappoint me. He never does!

So I hope this chapter of Ecclesiastes really make you think and redirect your perspective: Pain can be a blessing! If we learn from it, instead of just trying to run from suffering!

Embrace your moments of pain and grow from it, don’t let it destroy you. Instead, learn with it, so you can become stronger, with God’s help! Learn to grow deeper roots to mature, while time helps you to overcome these challenging seasons!

Friends, let’s keep walking in God’s strength and in belief, so we can say it at the end “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” with tears of joy in our eyes while we look at Jesus!

Uma longa estrada…

Ei, você! Como você tem passado? Espero que você esteja bem, mas, caso não esteja, quero incentivá-lo a refletir!

Todos nós enfrentamos processos de vida que nos causam dor!

Pode ser uma variedade de situações, incluindo: Perda, solidão, falta de propósito ou problemas d saúde, por exemplo! Todos nós já enfrentamos ou enfrentaremos essas situações, eventualmente!

No entanto, um homem sábio, há muito tempo, escreveu que a dor e a perda podem ser boas para nossas almas! Esse tipo de experiência nos ensina a encarar a vida de outra perspectiva, mais profundamente conscientes do que é valioso e do que não é. Espero que essa reflexão te encoraje!

“O bom nome é melhor
    do que um perfume finíssimo,
e o dia da morte é melhor
    do que o dia do nascimento.
²É melhor ir a uma casa onde há luto
    do que a uma casa em festa,
pois a morte é o destino de todos;
os vivos devem levar isso a sério!
³A tristeza é melhor do que o riso,
porque o rosto triste
    melhora o coração.
⁴O coração do sábio
    está na casa onde há luto,
mas o do tolo, na casa da alegria.
⁵É melhor ouvir
    a repreensão de um sábio
do que a canção dos tolos.
⁶Tal como o estalo de espinhos
    debaixo da panela,
assim é o riso dos tolos.
Isso também não faz sentido.

⁷A opressão transforma o sábio em tolo,
e o suborno corrompe o coração.

⁹Não permita que a ira domine depressa
o seu espírito,
pois a ira se aloja no íntimo dos tolos.

¹⁰Não diga: “Por que os dias do passado

Pois não é sábio fazer esse tipo de pergunta.

¹¹A sabedoria, como uma herança,
é coisa boa, e beneficia aqueles
    que vêem o sol.
¹²A sabedoria oferece proteção,
    como o faz o dinheiro,
mas a vantagem do conhecimento é esta:
    a sabedoria preserva a vida
    de quem a possui.

¹³Considere o que Deus fez:

Quem pode endireitar
    o que ele fez torto?
¹⁴Quando os dias forem bons,
    aproveite-os bem;
mas, quando forem ruins,
    considere:
Deus fez tanto um quanto o outro,
para evitar que o homem descubra
    alguma coisa sobre o seu futuro.

¹⁵Nesta vida sem sentido
eu já vi de tudo:

Um justo que morreu
    apesar da sua justiça,
e um ímpio que teve vida longa
    apesar da sua impiedade.
¹⁶Não seja excessivamente justo
    nem demasiadamente sábio;
por que destruir-se a si mesmo?
¹⁷Não seja demasiadamente ímpio
    e não seja tolo;
por que morrer antes do tempo?
¹⁸É bom reter uma coisa
    e não abrir mão da outra,
pois quem teme a Deus
    evitará ambos os extremos.

¹⁹A sabedoria torna o sábio
    mais poderoso
    que uma cidade guardada
    por dez valentes.
²⁰Todavia, não há um só justo na terra,
ninguém que pratique o bem e nunca peque.

²¹Não dê atenção
    a todas as palavras que o povo diz,
caso contrário, poderá ouvir
    o seu próprio servo falando mal de você;
²²pois em seu coração você sabe
    que muitas vezes você também
    falou mal de outros.

²³Tudo isso eu examinei mediante a sabedoria e disse:

Estou decidido a ser sábio;
mas isso estava fora do meu alcance.
²⁴A realidade está bem distante
    e é muito profunda;
quem pode descobri-la?
²⁵Por isso dediquei-me a aprender,
    a investigar, a buscar a sabedoria
    e a razão de ser das coisas,
para compreender
    a insensatez da impiedade
    e a loucura da insensatez.
²⁶Descobri que
    muito mais amarga que a morte
    é a mulher que serve de laço,
cujo coração é uma armadilha
    e cujas mãos são correntes.
O homem que agrada a Deus
    escapará dela,
mas o pecador ela apanhará.

²⁷“Veja”, diz o Mestre, “foi isto que descobri:

Ao comparar uma coisa com outra
    para descobrir a sua razão de ser,
²⁸sim, durante essa minha busca
    que ainda não terminou,
entre mil homens
    descobri apenas um que julgo digno,
mas entre as mulheres
    não achei uma sequer.
²⁹Assim, cheguei a esta conclusão:
    Deus fez os homens justos,
mas eles foram em busca
    de muitas intrigas.”

Neste capítulo de Eclesiastes aprendemos uma boa e amarga lição: A dor e o sofrimento são melhores do que uma vida fácil e sempre feliz!

Mesmo que nenhum de nós goste de sentir dor e tristeza, essas temporadas da nossa vida nos ensina muitas coisas boas. Por exemplo, a dor de perder alguém para a morte nos mostra que nosso tempo aqui é limitado (e precioso!). Precisamos lembrar disso sempre, para que possamos tomar boas decisões a longo prazo e valorizar as pessoas que temos conosco!

A dor, nas mais diversas situações, também nos ensina a ter mais consciência do que é a vida: Estamos aqui por pouco tempo, mas para viver com propósito! E no meio da dor, podemos aprender com cada experiência! Ao contrário da alegria, que nos distrai e nos anestesia, a dor nos torna mais conscientes da realidade da vida: Da diferença entre bom e ruim, bem e mal, paz e inquietação!

Aprendemos a ser mais pacientes, a ser mais gratos pelo que já superamos, podemos aprender a ser menos tolos, valorizando o que realmente importa em vez do que é superficial! Essência e raízes profundas, ao invés de aparência, satisfação rápida ou aceitação social.

Isso também nos mostra que o equilíbrio é melhor do que os extremos: Não precisamos ganhar as discussões todas as vezes, não precisamos ter certeza de tudo e não precisamos fingir que estamos bem o tempo todo, que temos tudo sob controle. Há poder na vulnerabilidade!

Quando passamos por esses períodos difíceis de dor, também aprendemos a confiar mais em Deus e nos apoiar nele. Porque em alguns cenários da vida, não há outra opção, de qualquer forma. É Ele ou nada! Ele é quem nos manterá de pé após as batalhas. Aprendemos isso de uma maneira difícil, mas é bom quando olhamos para trás! Sua fidelidade permanece no meio da nossa dor e caos!

Honestamente, eu devo dizer que este ano não começou muito bem para mim. Eu estava esperando por portas abertas que se fecharam na minha cara. Vi coisas que não queria ver, e isso derrubou meu castelinho de areia e me deixou triste.

Não é fácil mas, no meio de todo esse processo, eu tenho esses momentos de clareza, onde eu consigo pensar (e acreditar de verdade): “Deus está me fortalecendo em meio a todos esses desafios, Ele está me livrando das armadilhas das ilusões, não me dando o que eu quero!”

Ele é bom, afinal, e eu vou colher bons frutos na hora certa, tudo o que estou semeando durante esses períodos de espera. Através da minha obediência e entrega! É verdade, eu sei. Deus não vai me decepcionar. Ele nunca faz isso!

Então, espero que este capítulo de Eclesiastes realmente te faça refletir e redirecionar sua perspectiva: A dor pode ser uma bênção! Se aprendermos com ela, em vez de apenas tentarmos fugir do sofrimento!

Abrace seus momentos de dor e cresça com eles, não deixe que isso te destrua. Em vez disso, aprenda! Para que você possa se tornar mais forte, com a ajuda de Deus! Aprenda a a criar raízes mais profundas para amadurecer, enquanto o tempo te ajuda a superar essas temporadas desafiadoras!

Amigos, vamos continuar andando na força de Deus e com fé, para que possamos dizer no final: “Combati o bom combate, terminei a corrida, guardei a fé“, com lágrimas de alegria enquanto olhamos para Jesus!

conforme a tua promessa. Ensina-me o bom senso e o conhecimento,

Hey you! How are doing these past days? I hope you are doing well!

Thank God, I am feeling much better this week and I am almost recovered from the flu. Since I am feeling good to write today, I want to share one of the most important teachings of Jesus in the bible( if I can say that…): The sermon of the mountain!

I love how the Message version make it very clear and easy to undersntand what Jesus said. I hope you enjoy and be blessed by the Word!

“When Jesus saw his ministry drawing huge crowds, he climbed a hillside. Those who were apprenticed to him, the committed, climbed with him. Arriving at a quiet place, he sat down and taught his climbing companions. This is what he said:

³“You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.

⁴“You’re blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.

⁵“You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought.

⁶“You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.

⁷“You’re blessed when you care. At the moment of being ‘care-full,’ you find yourselves cared for.

⁸“You’re blessed when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.

⁹“You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family.

¹⁰“You’re blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God’s kingdom.

^11-12“Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer, even!—for though they don’t like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble.“

Sometimes it is hard to understand why we are going through some troubles in life, isn’t it? However, I think this chapter make it very clear that, during trials, dilemmas and persecution, when we’re carrying the Presence of God, that becomes a blessing in our lives, because it is an opportunity to experience more of the Love, faithfulness and moving of God!

We learn that we don’t need to figure it out all by ourselves, that we have a help from above! The more we lean on this help, the more we dive into God’s Kingdom and then, we become more able to grow and overcome our issues! How amazing is that?!

Even when people say something bad about us or to us, if we are aligned with God’s principles, this also can be a blessing! Persecution leads us closer to God and when we are living for the Truth, eventually, the persecution will works for the fulfillment of the purpose of our lives on this Earth!

Nothing we may face on this life is in vain, we are being trained by God, to represent and be part of His Kingdom! That is good news, right?! Yep.

So don’t feel discouraged when things go hard on your life! (even though it is normal to feel that way, sometimes!), we are not called to walk the “easy path”, we are called to walk the higher path, that leads us to God’s reality. That is so much greater than anything this world has to offer!

Remember that and rest on Him, always!

“Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You’ve lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage. “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:13-16

Abençoado é você quando…..

Ei, você! Como você tem passado esses últimos dias? Espero que você esteja bem!

Graças a Deus eu estou muito melhor essa última semana e já estou quase me recuperando da gripe. Já que hoje eu estou me sentindo bem para escrever, quero compartilhar um dos ensinamentos mais importantes de Jesus na Bíblia: O sermão da montanha.(Se é que eu posso dizer isso…)

Eu adoro como esta versão “A Mensagem” torna claro e fácil de entender o que Jesus disse. Espero que vocês gostem e sejam abençoados por essa Palavra!

“Quando Jesus viu seu ministério atraindo grandes multidões, ele subiu a montanha. Aqueles que eram aprendizes dele, os comprometidos, subiram com ele. Chegando a um lugar tranquilo, ele se sentou e ensinou seus companheiros de escalada. Isso foi o que ele disse:

³“Você é abençoado quando está no limite. Com menos de você há mais de Deus e seu governo.

⁴“Você é abençoado quando sente que perdeu o que é mais precioso para você. Só assim você poderá ser abraçado por Aquele que é mais querido por você.

⁵“Você é abençoado quando se contenta apenas com quem você é, nem mais, nem menos. Esse é o momento em que você se vê um dono orgulhoso de tudo o que não pode ser comprado.

⁶“Você é abençoado quando tem um bom apetite por Deus. Ele é comida e bebida na melhor refeição que você já comeu.

⁷“Você é abençoado quando se importa. No momento de ser “atencioso”, você também é cuidado.

⁸“Você é abençoado quando coloca seu mundo interior — sua mente e seu coração — em ordem. Então você pode ver Deus no mundo exterior.

⁹“Você é abençoado quando pode mostrar às pessoas como cooperar em vez de competir ou lutar. É quando você descobre quem você realmente é e seu lugar na família de Deus.

^11-12“Não é só isso – considere-se abençoado toda vez que as pessoas o colocam para baixo, o expulsam ou falam mentiras sobre você para me desacreditar. O que isso significa é que a verdade está muito próxima para conforto e eles estão desconfortáveis. Você pode ficar feliz quando isso acontecer – comemore até! – porque, embora eles não gostem, eu gosto! E todo o céu aplaude. E saiba que você está em boa companhia. Meus profetas e testemunhas sempre tiveram esse mesmo tipo de problema.“

Às vezes é difícil entender por que estamos passando por alguns problemas na vida, mas acho que este capítulo deixa bem claro que, durante as provações, dilemas e perseguições, quando carregamos a Presença de Deus, essas lutas se tornam uma bênção em nossas vidas, porque é uma oportunidade de experimentar mais do Amor, fidelidade e agir de Deus!

Nós aprendemos que não precisamos resolver tudo sozinhos, que temos uma ajuda do alto e, quanto mais dependemos dessa ajuda, quanto mais mergulhamos na Presença de Deus, mais somos capazes de crescer e superar nossos problemas! Quão incrível é isso?

Mesmo quando as pessoas dizem algo ruim sobre nós ou direcionado a nós, se estivermos alinhados com os princípios de Deus, isso também é uma bênção!

A perseguição nos leva pra mais perto de Deus e quando estamos vivendo pela Verdade, eventualmente, a perseguição funcionará para o cumprimento do nosso propósitos nesta Terra! Nada que possamos enfrentar nesta vida é em vão, estamos sendo treinados por Deus, para representar o Seu Reino e ser parte dele! Isso é uma boa notícia, certo?! Certo.

Portanto, não se sinta desencorajado quando as coisas ficarem difíceis pra você(mesmo que seja normal se sentir assim às vezes). Lembre-se de que nós não somos chamados a trilhar um “caminho fácil”, somos chamados a trilhar um caminho mais alto, que nos leva à realidade de Deus, que é muito maior do que qualquer coisa que este mundo tem a nos oferecer!

Lembre-se disso e descanse nEle, sempre!

“Deixe-me dizer por que você está aqui. Você está aqui para ser tempero,o sal que traz à tona os sabores de Deus desta terra. Se você perder sua salinidade, como as pessoas provarão a piedade? Você perdeu sua utilidade e vai acabar no lixo. “Aqui está outra maneira de colocar isso: você está aqui para ser luz, trazendo as cores de Deus ao mundo. Deus não é um segredo a ser guardado. Hey friend! How are you doing?

Today, going through my notes, I found a really interesting exercise that can helps us to take the right direction and find what we are called to do in our lives!

I’ll share here some tips/insights that, I hope, will direct you if you are struggling with this question: What should I be doing with my life?!

Our life’s purpose should define how we spend our time, money and all our efforts. We need to look at it as an investiment, to reap good fruits along the way!

So, take some time to reflect about it and write down some of the signs that points to your main purpose in life or the “Permanent central idea” (In another words: What makes my heart beat faster?!)

Here are some of the signs you may consider to find your “calling”:

-Temper (Strengths and weaknesses of your temper!). You have specific characteristics and abilities that will help you to fulfill your purpose!

-Skills: What do you love to do and also is good at?! That can be a good sign, but also involves things you’d love to do, but are too afraid to start doing!(skills you should develop…)

-Family challenges: What are the challenges you had to face(and overcome) in your family relationships? ( That could be used to help others to be encouraged).

A lot of us have already experienced pain, rejection or lost in our family relationships! Not only victory over a problem, but also the struggles of life, can connect us to other people. People that we can help and also be inspired by! We are here to learn and to teach others.

-Your life story: What are your most difficult experiences? Things that made you stronger and more mature in the process? What do you have learned in your daily battles, that can help people around you, inspiring them to have hope and faith in their own situation?!

God uses our battles to build perseverance and strength inside of us!It also will be a tool to reach our goals and help those around us!

-What do you could do for the rest of your life without being paid? What wakes a deep satisfaction in you?! We all have some activity, some hobby or professional skill that could be used as a tool to build a better life to others and also spread the Word of God! (As for me I can say that writting is one of my passions since I can remember! That makes me feel happy and useful!)

What are some tasks and challenges that makes you feel inspired, energized and fulfilled? That is a good sign for your purpose! It is not the whole answer, but it’s definetely a good tip about the direction you should be taken in your life’s decisions!

I encourage you to make a list of those things and think deeply about it: Am I going into the right direction? Am I investing in something that I really loves and also impacts others in a good way?! Something that will last?!

It is not an easy or quick task, I know. Maybe you are in a season, righ now, where those questions seems pointless, because you don’t see a way through it. But don’t stop dreaming about it, ok?!

Don’t be so hard on yourself! You can dream and, at the same time, start to plant some small seeds now, that will bring good fruits for you in the future!

It is important to acknolegde your dreams and that they matter! Even in times when it seems impossible! I also have my own share of “impossible dreams”.

However, I really love to write them down and read it, every time I need to remember that it’s not the end of the line. God is faithfull and He’ll help me accomplish them! No matter how long it takes.

I know that, if you trust in God and put all your hope in Him, you’ll not be disappointed!

Share your thoughts and dreams with Him and He will plant a good amount of hope and strength in your heart, so you can keep pursuing it, without giving up!

“Is not Ephraim my dear son, the child in whom I delight? Though I often speak against him, I still remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I have great compassion for him,” declares the Lord.”

It is not too late!

It’s up to you to choose the greater desires over the temporary distractions. Walk away from the things that waste your time, and choose to go after what you most desire. Hello dear reader!

Today I decided to share this amazing devotional “I hear his whisper“, to remind you that it is not too late! It is not too late to follow your dreams.

All of us have dreams and plans that we keep deep inside. Dreams that, sometimes, seems so impossible that we bury them and just forget about it, right?

However, God is encouraging us today: I want you to go after your dreams, I believe in you! All the troubles we may face in this life can be perceive on differents perspectives: We can see it as a barrer that will be in our way stoping us OR, it can be a exercise to train us, so we can be more diligent and have a stronger faith!

As for me, I can say that even I am facing an unknown future in my professional carrer right now, I know that God is preparing me and giving me TIME. Time that I can choose to spend wisely, enjoyng my family, studying His Word and also, doing something that I love: Writting.

If life is giving you a hard time, use it to build some muscles! Look at things and situations as opportunities to develop abilities you don’t have yet or to improve those you already have!

You are not too young, too broken or too old to fulfiil your dreams! You are exactly where you supposed to be!(If you believe that God is in control of your life) And you can enjoy it and learn from your circumstances, using the tools and opportunities you already have to grow stronger!

It is not too late my friend, keep believing. Our God is the God of the impossible!

“For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace.” James 1:3-5

Olá querido leitor(a)!

Hoje eu decidi compartilhar este devocional incrível “Eu ouço seu sussurro“, para te lembrar que não é tarde demais! Não é tarde para seguir seus sonhos.

Todos nós temos sonhos e planos que guardamos bem lá no fundo. Sonhos que, às vezes parecem tão impossíveis que nós os enterramos e simplesmente esquecemos deles, não é?

No entanto, Deus está nos encorajando hoje: Eu quero que você vá atrás de seus sonhos, eu acredito em você! Todos os problemas que possamos enfrentar nesta vida podem ser percebidos de diferentes maneiras: Podemos vê-los como barreiras que bloqueiam nosso caminho OU, podemos encará-los como um exercício, que está nos treinando para sermos mais diligentes e ter uma fé inabalável!

Quanto a mim, eu posso dizer que mesmo enfrentando um futuro incerto na minha vida profissional no momento, eu sei que Deus está me preparando e me dando TEMPO. Tempo que posso escolher gastar com sabedoria, curtindo minha família, estudando Sua Palavra e também, fazendo algo que eu amo: Escrever.

Se a vida está te dando um surra, use-a para construir alguns músculos! Veja as coisas e situações como oportunidades para desenvolver habilidades que você ainda não tem ou para melhorar as que você já tem!

Você não é muito jovem, muito quebrado ou muito velho para realizar seus sonhos! Você está exatamente onde deveria estar! (Se você acredita que Deus está no controle de sua vida) E você pode aproveitar e aprender agora, usando as ferramentas e oportunidades que você já tem!

Não é tarde demais, meu amigo, continue acreditando. Nosso Deus é o Deus do impossível!

The power of the family!

Hey friends! How are you doing?

It’s been a while that God is talking to me about a subject that is being neglected and attacked all over the centuries: Family!

Today I was reading a book called “The purpose of the family” (by Luciano Subirá) and I could go deeper in the purpose of God to us as individuals but specially as a family!

Think about it, since the beginning, God created man to live in partnership with the womam and also to develop the first community: The familiy, ruling the world from that!

In every history of the bible we see the care of God with the humankind, always promising to bless not only individually, those who obey and trusts Him, but also the generations to come!

In Genesis 17 wecan see God working through a family covenant!

“When Abram was ninety-nine years old, God showed up and said to him, “I am The Strong God, live entirely before me, live to the hilt! I’ll make a covenant between us and I’ll give you a huge family.”

^3-8Overwhelmed, Abram fell flat on his face.

Then God said to him, “This is my covenant with you: You’ll be the father of many nations. Your name will no longer be Abram, but Abraham, meaning that ‘I’m making you the father of many nations.’ I’ll make you a father of fathers—I’ll make nations from you, kings will issue from you.

I am establishing my covenant between me and you, a covenant that includes your descendants, a covenant that goes on and on and on, a covenant that commits me to be your God and the God of your descendants. And I’m giving you and your descendants this land where you’re now just camping, this whole country of Canaan, to own forever. And I’ll be their God.”

Every time that God wanted to bless His sons and daughters, He also extended the blessings and plans to the family! We can see that in Joseph’s life, Obede-Edom, through the lineage of Jesus and so on!

That is not by chance that the secular world wants so bad to weaken and change all the foundations of God’s Word for the family! We can see that through laws that protect and encourage abortion, divorce, obligations toward a “proper education” for our childrem and a lot more!

I think God gaves us a great opportunity during this pandemic scenario to realign our priorities and take more time to take care of our relationships regarding our family! We never have this much time to take care of our children and home, for example.

Most of us, parents, need to outsource the care and education of our children to the state, private schools or another person, for all the time we spend working! Now, we finally have time to think more in our family and in wich level they are in our daily priorities!

A healthy and balanced life involves to put every person and situaton at the right place! According to the bible, we need to put God first in our daily routine, dreams and plans! That is because He is the only one who knows exactly what we need and what is best to our life, present and future!

Our perspective can be blurred thorugh the circunstances, but when we trust in the One who knows the end from the beginning, we can trust that He knows what ways and choices is better for us, in every area!

The second priority should be our family! God created us for this relationship and more important than plans involving job, ministry, education or whatever, is to take care and protect those who live under the same roof as us! It can be parents, spouse, grandparents, children!

It is about time to us to take a break and care (more) about those that really matter to us! God is giving us a unique opportunity to do it in this season!

If you are, somehow, neglecting your role as a mother, father, spouse or son/daughter, this is the time to take a step back and realign your priorities and perspective! Don’t waste your precious time running after the wind, worrying about what does not really matters!

Jesus said that we can’t take back a day of our lives even if we wanted, so we shouldn’t be so worried about the issues of this world! God can and will take care of our daily needs, if we only trust Him and put Him in the right place: In the throne of our hearts!

The third priority, after God and our family, should be work! Everyone needs, after all, a paycheck in the end of the month (or week). This is definitely an important area of our lives and when we give the proper attention to it, no more ,no less, God will bless the effort of our hands!

I don’t know in wich area you may have struggling at the moment but, I can assure you: God is faithful and kind, and He loves to take care of his childrem! He loves family and He want us to have a healthy and blessed one!

If you are going through a battle over that or any other subject, just open your heart to Him! Be completely honest and also, open yourself to hear what He has to say to you! He will help you to go through it, no matter how hard it can be!

When we choose to believe, despite of our circunstances and develop a close relationship with Him, we start to live ABOVE all the chaotic scenario of our lives!

I experienced a lot of miracles and blessings in this past year, but it is not easy to walk by faith to be honest, because miracles come through hardship. It is a choice for the braves!

However, when we choose to be courageous enough to believe His promises and love for us, we can embrace a life that goes beyond this wordly pattern. God wants to break us free of the chains of this worldly mindset.

We are called to live so much more! Be brave and corageous!

No matter how hard your journey can be right now, the only thing you need to do is persevere in faith and trust in the promises God has for you! Feed your mind and heart with His Word and be filled with hope and a renewed strength!

It is time to walk above the chaos and acess all the blessings He has for us, through the most precious relationship we have: Our family!

I challenge you, right now, to give Him praise and be thankful for your family, no matter how messy or broken they might be! God declares a blessing over your family today! Embrace it and be grateful!

“I will sing a new song to you, my God;
on the ten-stringed lyre I will make music to you,
to the One who gives victory to kings,
who delivers his servant David.

From the deadly sword deliver me;
rescue me from the hands of foreigners
whose mouths are full of lies,
whose right hands are deceitful.

O poder que há na família!

Olá amigos! Como vocês estão?!

Já faz um tempo que Deus está falando comigo sobre esse assunto que, embora essencial, tem sido negligenciado e atacado ao longo dos séculos: A família!

Hoje eu estava lendo um livro chamado “O propósito da família” (do Luciano Subirá) e pude me aprofundar no propósito de Deus para nós como indivíduos, mas especialmente como família!

Pense nisso: Desde o início, Deus criou o homem para viver em parceria com a mulher e também para desenvolver a primeira comunidade: A família, governando o mundo a partir dela!

Em cada história da bíblia vemos o cuidado de Deus com a humanidade, sempre prometendo abençoar não só individualmente, aqueles que obedecem e confiam nEle, mas também as gerações futuras!

Em Gênesis 17, podemos ver Deus trabalhando por meio de uma aliança famíliar!

“Quando Abrão estava com 99 anos, o Senhor lhe apareceu e disse: “Eu sou o Deus Todo-poderoso.^[a] Seja fiel a mim e tenha uma vida íntegra. ²Farei uma aliança com você e lhe darei uma descendência incontável”.

³Ao ouvir essas palavras, Abrão se prostrou com o rosto no chão, e Deus lhe disse: ⁴“Esta é a minha aliança com você: farei de você o pai de numerosas nações! ⁵Além disso, mudarei seu nome. Você já não será chamado Abrão, mas sim Abraão,^[b] pois será o pai de muitas nações. ⁶Eu o tornarei extremamente fértil. Seus descendentes formarão muitas nações, e haverá reis entre eles.

⁷“Confirmarei a minha aliança com você e seus descendentes, de geração em geração. Esta é a aliança sem fim: serei sempre o seu Deus e o Deus de seus descendentes. ⁸Darei a você e a seus descendentes toda a terra de Canaã, onde hoje você vive como estrangeiro. Será propriedade deles para sempre, e eu serei o seu Deus”.

Sempre que Deus queria abençoar Seus filhos e filhas, Ele também estendia as bênçãos e planos para a família! Podemos ver isso na vida de José(do Egito), Obede-Edom, através de toda a linhagem de Jesus e assim por diante!

Não é por acaso que o mundo secular deseja tanto enfraquecer e mudar todos os fundamentos da Palavra de Deus para a família! Podemos ver isso por meio de leis que protegem e incentivam o aborto, o divórcio, nas obrigações de uma “educação adequada” para nossos filhos e assim por diante!

Acho que Deus nos deu uma grande oportunidade durante este cenário de pandemia para realinhar nossas prioridades e dedicar mais tempo para cuidar de nossos relacionamentos em relação à nossa família! Nunca tivemos tanto tempo para cuidar dos nossos filhos e lares como agora.

A maioria de nós, pais, precisamos terceirizar o cuidado e a educação de nossos filhos para o Estado, escolas particulares ou outra pessoa, por causa de todo o tempo que passamos trabalhando! Agora finalmente temos tempo para pensar mais em nossa família e em que nível eles estão em nossas prioridades diárias!

Uma vida saudável e equilibrada envolve colocar cada pessoa e situação no lugar certo! Segundo a bíblia, precisamos colocar Deus em primeiro lugar em nossa rotina diária, sonhos e planos! Isso porque Ele é o único que sabe exatamente o que precisamos e o que é melhor para a nossa vida, presente e futura!

Nossa perspectiva pode ser confundida pelas circunstâncias, mas quando confiamos naquele que conhece o fim desde o início, podemos confiar que Ele sabe quais caminhos e escolhas são melhores para nós, em todas as áreas!

A nosa segunda prioridade deve ser nossa família! Deus nos criou para este relacionamento e mais importante do que planos envolvendo trabalho, ministério, educação ou o que seja, é cuidar e proteger aqueles que vivem sob o mesmo teto que nós! Sejam pais, cônjuge, avós, filhos!

É hora de fazermos uma pausa e nos dedicarmos (mais) àqueles que realmente importam para nós! Deus está nos dando uma oportunidade única de fazer isso nesta temporada!

Se você está, de alguma forma, negligenciando seu papel como mãe, pai, cônjuge ou filho/filha, este é o momento de dar um passo atrás e realinhar suas prioridades e perspectivas! Não perca seu precioso tempo correndo atrás do vento, se preocupando com o que realmente não importa!

Jesus disse que não podemos retomar um dia sequer de nossas vidas, mesmo se quiséssemos, então não devemos nos preocupar tanto com os problemas deste mundo! Deus pode e vai cuidar de nossas necessidades diárias, se apenas confiarmos Nele e colocarmos Ele no lugar certo: No trono dos nossos corações!

A terceira prioridade, depois de Deus e nossa família, deve ser o trabalho! Afinal, todo mundo precisa de um pagamento no final do mês (ou da semana). Esta é definitivamente uma área importante de nossas vidas, que a Palavra de Deus também nos incentiva a cultivar! Quando damos a devida atenção a ela, nem mais, nem menos, Deus abençoará o esforço do nosso trabalho!

Não sei em que área você pode estar lutando no momento, mas posso garantir-lhe: Deus é fiel e bondoso e adora cuidar dos seus filhos! Ele ama a família e quer que tenhamos uma, saudável e abençoada!

Se você está travando uma batalha por causa desse ou de qualquer outro assunto, apenas abra seu coração para Deus! Seja completamente honesto e também, abra-se para ouvir o que Ele tem a lhe dizer! Ele o ajudará a passar por isso, não importa o quão difícil seja!

Quando escolhemos acreditar, apesar das nossas circunstâncias, e desenvolvemos um relacionamento próximo com o nosso Pai, passamos a viver ACIMA de todo o cenário caótico de nossas vidas!

Eu experimentei muitos milagres e bênçãos no ano passado, mas não é fácil andar pela fé, para ser bem honesta, pois eles vêm através das dificuldades. É uma escolha para os fortes!

No entanto, quando decidimos ser corajosos o suficiente para acreditar em Suas promessas e no amor por nós, podemos abraçar uma vida que vai além desse padrão mundano. Deus deseja nos libertar das cadeias dessa mentalidade secular.

Somos chamados para viver muito mais! Seja forte e corajoso!

Não importa o quão difícil possa ser sua jornada agora, a única coisa que você precisa fazer é perseverar na fé e confiar nas promessas que Deus tem para você! Alimente sua mente e coração com a Sua Palavra e se encha de esperança e uma força renovada!

É hora de caminhar acima do caos e acessar todas as bênçãos que Ele tem para nós, por meio do relacionamento mais precioso que Ele nos concedeu: Nossa família!

Eu o desafio hoje a louvar a Deus e ser grato por sua família, não importa o quão complicados e difíceis eles possam ser! Deus declara uma bênção sobre sua família hoje! Abrace-a e seja grato!

“Cantarei a ti, ó Deus, um cântico novo;
cantarei louvores a ti com instrumento de dez cordas.
¹⁰Pois tu concedes vitória aos reis;
livraste teu servo Davi da espada mortal.
¹¹Salva-me!
Livra-me do poder de meus inimigos.
Eles têm a boca cheia de mentiras;
juram dizer a verdade, mas mentem.

Navigating singleness!

Hey there!

It’s been a while since God put in my heart this necessity to talk about singleness and what I’ve learned from it!

” but we^[c] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; ⁴perseverance, character; and character, hope. ⁵And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5

I’ve always considered myself an emotional independent person. To be honest, I almost boast about it.

I never like this idea of being one of those “needy” people, who need someone to feel complete. I always saw myself more independent. However, independence has a good and a bad side.

But I not going to lie, since I gave my life to Jesus, I think about marriage. First because, since I am a Christian, this is the right way to have someone to share my life with. I can’t live in a way that I used to live in the past, just “having fun”, here and there.

Second, I know that despite of being a person who enjoy solitude and have learned how to enjoy her own company in a lot of ways, I still want someone to share my dreams and goals with, someone who has the same purpose as me: Live a life that honors God and reflects His will!

I have seen a lot of broken relationships, outside and inside the church, but since I am writing it through a godly perspective, let’s talk about the second group: Believers.

What God is showing me through all my journey is a real problem that is affecting the church:

People are turning marriage into an idol, thinking that all their emotional problens and needs will be fixed through it. And there are another group of people who just want to get marriage to have sex, never thinking about the others issues that involves this commitment!

One of the reasons for a broken relationship is: People get marriage to be happy!

Let me tell you something, that I heard from the mouth of my own sister in law: “If you want to get married to be happy, don’t do it!”( I laughed when she said it, but it’s true!)

First because, your happiness can’t be dependable of another person! If you are putting a lot of expectations on a person, to fill all your needs and make you happy, you gonna be disappointed! People fail on us all the time!

There are a lot of people out there, and I have to confess that I already thought like this, that is thinking “I will be happy when…”. They never enjoy the present or are grateful for what they already have. Ungratefulness is something that makes us walk in circles and poisoned our hearts!

“Sacrifice thank offerings to God,
fulfill your vows to the Most High,
and call on me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you will honor me (…) Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor me,
and to the blameless^[d] I will show my salvation.” Psalm 50: 14-15/23

Another reason for the failure of relationships: People believe that love is just a feeling! So when this feeling goes away, the relationship is ruined!

Love is way more than a feeling, love is a choice! But more than that, love is a person, Jesus! Only Him can teach you how to love and how to fight in the right way for a successful marriage! Choosing to love everyday, through every act and decision!

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

If you want someone to put all your expectations on, this person is Jesus! He is the One who never fails on us, never promise something He can’t accomplish. He is always good, always faithful!

Our identity and satisfaction must be founded in Him, otherwise, everything we seek to fill our void will be a waste of time!

The first thing we need to figure out, to be happy in a relationship or any other area, is who we really are! Seek the answers in God, and in Him only!

In Him I found a lot of things that needed to be healed inside of me, to be rebuild! Through this relationship, God unmasked a lot of lies in my life, things that I carried for a long time!

I found out that I was looking to myself through glasses that other people put on me, using mean words! I was carrying labels like: Rebel, ruthless, selfish, heartless…

I heard that from family members, friends, Christian leaders and so on. And for a long time I believed that I was this person: Someone incapable of being kind or to love!

However, Jesus has a completely different opinion about me! He says that I am brave, strong, kind, lovely! He says that I am his princess, that I have a tender heart. And finally, I believe in Him!

But I know that I still am in a healing process, that I need this relationship with Him more than any one!

No man on this earth could give me what Jesus gives me, everyday, when I am spending time with Him.

He is the only one who knows what is going on, even when I can’t speak a word, just shed my tears!

He is the One that with one word can change my perspective and heal my heart, who can bring light and hope to my cloudy day! No other person could do that for me, the way He does!

So, what I want to say with all this is: It is ok to dream with a person to share a journey and dreams with you! We all need that!

We were created to live in community, through healthy relationships!

However, we need to be whole in Christ first, to be able to make another person happier, instead of wait to someone to complete us and make us happy!

Singleness is a season to know yourself, to grow in intimacy with God. To invest time and effort to discover who you are and what you are called for, to discover your purpose! Enjoy your process.

In the future you will be glad for spent this time wisely or you will regret for wasted it. You choose.

Marriage it’s a lifetime covenant! It involves commitment, sacrifice, hard work, partnership!

It is not a pre-cooked meal you can put on the microwave and wait just a few minutes to be ready!( by the way, I hate this kind of meal, who eats that?! lol)

Don’t be deceit: There is no easy way to happiness, you need to build up this road in partnership! It need to come from the inside first, not from outside conditions.

God wants to give us way more than we asked for, but we need to be mature, we need to be ready to receive. Otherwise, a blessing could turn into a curse very fast!

Find your peace and purpose in Him and everything else will come as consequence!

“Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame.
    Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated.
You will forget the shame of your youth
    and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.
⁵For your Maker is your husband—
    the Lord Almighty is his name—
the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
