Hello dear reader, how are you doing?
Have you been tired lately? Have you ever question yourself from what do you need some rest?
As for me, I can say that some times I need rest from technology, between other things. Considering that I work all day in front of a computer and on the top of that, mostly of my communication, payments and other little things I do is based on technology( usually my cellphone), I am very aware that I need a break from all of that. I usually do that in my lunch time.
I just seat under a tree and rest for a while, breathing the fresh air, enjoying the sound of nature, slowing down my thoughts, it is very restoring. However, if I can be honest, I’d really enjoy a longer períod of time without any technoloy, a retreat in some place surrounded by nature and silence.
Sometimes, I also need a break from my routine, my hurry schedule and from people. Do you feel this need? It is good to be intentional with this kind of rest, even though it is not so easy to embrace this opportunity, mosthly because we have obligations, like work and family dutties.
Despite of that, I encourage you to take it, even if it is a short break in your busy day. A time to take a deep breath and put aside every worried thought and hurry you may have. Rest is indispensable for our minds and souls.
We are living in “rush” times. We go through the day running, feeding our minds with a variety of information, including useless kind of information, that we could avoid. However, in order to do that, we need to focus our attention on what really matters, doing one thing at the time, trying our best to rest our worried minds every moment we can. Difficult task, let’s be honest, but not impossible.
God also encourages us to do not neglect our time of rest. He left this example to us when He took a rest after the creation of the world, in the seventh day. God does not get tired, He did not need a break. However , He did that to show us how important it is to take a time to ourselves, a time to stop everything we are doing or just done, to aprreciate the moment, to comtemplate the beauty of His work, and take a rest of ours.
Today, I just want to encourage you to be intentional with your time and priorities: From what do you need some rest? Do it now. If you can’t right now, at least try to do it today. Take some time to rest in the company of Your Father. He is waiting to have a quality time with you.
God always gives rest to those who seek Him,

Olá querido leitor, como vai você?
Você tem se cansado ultimamente? Você já se questionou sobre do que precisa descansar?
Quanto a mim, posso dizer que preciso descansar da tecnologia em alguns momentos, entre outras coisas. Considerando que trabalho o dia todo na frente de um computador e ainda por cima, a utilizo para comunicação, pagamentos e outras pequenas coisas que faço (geralmente meu celular), eu estou muito ciente de que preciso de um descanso. E eu costumo fazer isso na hora do almoço: Uma pausa de tudo.
Eu apenas me sento debaixo de uma árvore e descanso um pouco, respirando o ar puro, curtindo o som da natureza, acalmando meus pensamentos; é muito restaurador. Mas, para ser sincera, eu realmente gostaria de um período de tempo mais longo sem nenhuma tecnologia, um retiro em algum lugar cercado por natureza e silêncio.
Às vezes, eu também preciso de uma folga da minha rotina, da minha agenda corrida e das pessoas. Você sente essa necessidade?! É bom ser intencional com esse tipo de descanso, embora não seja tão fácil abraçar essa oportunidade, pois temos obrigações, como trabalho e deveres familiares.
Apesar disso, eu encorajo você a fazer isso, mesmo que seja uma pequena pausa em seu dia agitado. Um momento para respirar fundo e deixar de lado todos os pensamentos preocupados e apressados que você possa ter. O descanso é indispensável para nossas mentes e almas, pra nossa saúde de forma geral.
Estamos vivendo em tempos de muita pressa. Passamos o dia correndo, alimentando nossas mentes com uma variedade de informações, inclusive informações inúteis, que poderíamos evitar. Porém, para fazer isso, precisamos focar nossa atenção no que realmente importa, fazendo uma coisa de cada vez, tentando ao máximo descansar nossas mentes preocupadas sempre que possível. Tarefa difícil, mas não impossível.
Deus também nos encoraja a não negligenciar nosso tempo de descanso. Ele nos deixou esse exemplo quando descansou após a criação do mundo, no sétimo dia. Deus não se cansa, Ele não precisava de descanso. No entanto, Ele fez isso para nos mostrar o quanto é importante tirar um tempo para nós mesmos, um tempo para parar tudo o que estamos fazendo ou acabamos de fazer, para apreciar o momento, contemplar a beleza de Sua obra, e descansar um pouco da nossa.
Hoje, quero apenas encorajá-lo a ser intencional com seu tempo e prioridades: Do que você precisa descansar? Faça isso agora. Se você não pode agora, pelo menos tente fazê-lo hoje. Tire algum tempo para descansar na companhia de Seu Pai. Ele está esperando para ter um tempo de qualidade com você.
Deus sempre dá descanso aos que o buscam,

Hey friend, how are you doing?! I hope you are(all) doing well.
However, if you are not so well, if you are struggling in this season of your life, trying to get rid of some kind of (unwanted) response you usually give to specifics situations in your life, a cycle that seems to have no end and you are tired, this post is for you.
If you are willing to grow, to set free from this situation, and specially, if you are a Christian and you have or want to develop a intimate, better relationship with the Lord, reaping good fruits in your life, I have great news for you!
God loves to help! He also does not expect something from us that we can not give. He knows we can’t change by ourselves, that real and deep heart and mind change does not involve only personal effort. Real change, the one that comes from the inside, only comes with the work of the Holy Spirit! And why this is great news? Because God is willing to do this work in you, take a look in these verses bellow:
“Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, 21 equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.( Hebrews 13:20-21)
“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:12-13)
“Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.” (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” John 14:26-27
“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” (2Peter 3:9)
Why this is so important to internalize and live by? Because during our walk, we tend to blame ourselves. When we look to our incapacity to do good, when we fail to do the right thing( even when we want to do it), and start to beat ouselves up, we need to remind that we are a working in progress. If you did choose to surrender your life o Jesus, then you are not alone in this journey. He invited you to a partnership. He wants to make the impossible, possible: He is willing to give you a redeemed, new heart.
However, deep change always comes with time and perseverance. It’s not a night over day harvest. You need to be patient with yourself. Don’t give up. If you are willing to walk in surrender to God, the fruit will come, the Spirit of God, who started this work in you, will finish till the day of Christ! Have courage. Take heart!
Seek God with all your heart and mind, the answer will come. We are called to run with focus and finish well =)
“Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. Você tem dificuldades para mudar?!
Olá amigos, como vai?! Espero que estejam todos bem.
No entanto, se você não está bem, se está tendo dificuldades nessa fase da sua vida, tentando se livrar de algum tipo de comportamento indesejado, que você frequentemente apresenta em situações específicas da sua vida( como impaciência, raiva, falta de controle, indisciplina), num ciclo que parece não ter fim e você está cansado, este post é para você.
Se você está disposto a crescer, e principalmente, se você é cristão e tem ou quer desenvolver um relacionamento íntimo e verdadeiro com o Senhor, colhendo bons frutos em sua vida, então eu tenho uma ótima notícia para você:
Deus ama ajudar! Ele também não espera de nós algo que não podemos oferecer. Ele sabe que não podemos mudar sozinhos, que a verdadeira e profunda mudança de coração e mente não envolve apenas esforço pessoal. A mudança real, aquela que vem de dentro, só vem com a obra do Espírito Santo! E por que isso é uma ótima notícia? Porque Deus está disposto a fazer esta obra em você, dê uma olhada nestes versículos abaixo:
“O Deus da paz, que pelo sangue da aliança eterna trouxe de volta dentre os mortos o nosso Senhor Jesus, o grande Pastor das ovelhas,os aperfeiçoe em todo o bem para fazerem a vontade dele, e opere em nós o que lhe é agradável, mediante Jesus Cristo, a quem seja a glória para todo o sempre. Amém. (Hebreus 13:20-21)
“Portanto, meus amados, como vocês sempre obedeceram, agora, não apenas como na minha presença, mas muito mais na minha ausência, desenvolvam a sua própria salvação com temor e tremor, porque é Deus quem opera em vocês, tanto o querer quanto o realizar, de acordo com a boa vontade Dele” (Filipenses 2:12-13)

Por que é tão importante internalizar isso? Porque durante nossa caminhada, tendemos a nos culpar. Quando olhamos para a nossa incapacidade de fazer o bem, quando deixamos de fazer a coisa certa (mesmo quando queremos fazer) e começamos a nos torturar, precisamos nos lembrar de que somos um projeto em andamento. Se você escolheu entregar sua vida a Jesus, então você não está sozinho nesta jornada. Ele te convidou para uma parceria. Ele quer tornar o impossível, possível: Ele está disposto a dar a você um coração novo e redimido. Uma vida restaurada e não escrava dos seus erros.
No entanto, a mudança virá com tempo e persistência. Não é uma colheita que vem da noite para o dia. Você precisa ser paciente consigo mesmo. Não desista. Se você estiver disposto a andar em rendição a Deus, o fruto virá, o Espírito de Deus, que começou esta obra em você, terminará até o dia de Cristo! Tenha coragem. Não desista!
Busque a Deus com toda a sua mente e de todo coração, a resposta virá. Somos chamados a correr com foco e finalizar bem =)

Hello dear reader! How are you doing?
The year is new but the statemnet is old: In this year I will...( you can fill it up with whatever you like.). Right?!
Even knowing that I am the kind of person who loves order and planning in my life, I hate this list of “Goals for 202X”. I can live better without it! And do you know why?
Because I already put too much preasure on myself without a goal’s list. Do you feel the same way?
I don’t think we need a list. Of course we can adjust some aspects of our lives. We can choose to look back and try our best to learn with our past mistakes and maybe try something different in some areas of our lives BUT let’s not make of it a(tough) list. Let’s be honest, near july we problably dropped all these goals already. Am I right?!
Again, look back and use your past as your teacher: You can learn to be a maturer person with your past mistakes and also with what you did right. Also, look to your past years or season with compassion!( I need to say that to me as well)
Let’s not be so harsh on ourselves, we are learning something, after all. I am not the same person I was five years ago, thank God! ( and I’m not saying it just as an expression, He really changed my life!)
It is good to have plans, things we want to improve in our lives, I am not against that, not at all. But let’s be kind and real with the things we want and can change: Let’s take one step at the time and, when things get too overhelming, let’s ask for God’s help! He is always willing to help!
So, today I just want to leave you with this thought: You don’t need a resolution list! But you can have one if this is your way to be functional, to put things in order. Just be gentle on yourself. And if you fail at some point (and you will), get up, shake the dust off and keep going!
Every new year is one more opportunity to live a plentiful life, and you don’t need to do it by yourself. We have a great friend and conselour( If you are a Christian , you already know the Holy Spirit!) let ask for help so we can walk a lighter path from now on!

O ano é novo, mas a declaração é velha(véia!): Neste ano eu vou… (você pode preencher com o que quiser aqui). Certo?!
Mesmo sabendo que sou o tipo de pessoa que ama ordem e planejamento na minha vida, odeio essa lista de “Metas para 202X”. Posso viver melhor sem ela! E você sabe por quê?
Porque eu já me preocupo demais sem uma lista de metas. Você se identifica?
Acho que nós não precisamos de uma lista de metas. Claro que podemos ajustar alguns aspectos da nossa vida, podemos optar por olhar para trás e tentar o nosso melhor para aprender com nossos erros e talvez começar uma estratégia diferente em algumas áreas da vida MAS, não faça uma lista (difícil), porque, sejamos honestos, em julho já teremos abandonado todas essas metas. Não é?!
Mais uma vez, olhe para trás e use seu passado como seu professor: Você pode aprender a ser uma pessoa mais madura com seus erros do passado e também com seus acertos. E ainda, olhe para seus últimos anos ou temporada com compaixão! (Preciso dizer isso para mim mesma)
Não sejamos tão duros conosco, afinal estamos aprendendo alguma coisa(né rs). Eu não sou a mesma pessoa de cinco anos atrás, graças a Deus! (e não estou dizendo isso apenas pela força da expressão, Ele realmente mudou minha vida!)
É bom ter planos, coisas que a gente quer melhorar na vida, eu não sou contra isso, de jeito nenhum. Mas sejamos gentis e verdadeiros com as coisas que queremos e podemos mudar: Vamos dar um passo de cada vez e, quando as coisas ficarem muito complicadas, vamos pedir a ajuda de Deus! Ele está realmente disposto a nos ajudar!
Então, hoje eu só quero deixar você com essa reflexão: Você não precisa de uma lista! Mas você pode ter uma se esse for o seu jeito de ser funcional, de colocar as coisas em ordem. Apenas seja gentil consigo mesmo. E se você falhar em algum momento (e você vai), levante, sacuda a poeira e dê a volta por cima!
Cada novo ano é mais uma oportunidade de viver uma vida plena, e você não precisa fazer isso sozinho. Temos um grande amigo e conselheiro (se você é cristão, já conhece o Espírito Santo!) vamos pedir a Sua ajuda para que possamos trilhar um caminho mais leve daqui para frente!

I don’t know if you ever watched this tv show, but I have to say : It is very interesting(if you like suspense and some terror, like me) and we can learn some good lessons with all the bizarre scenario of Stranger Things.
Let me tell you first, that, every time I watch a serie or a good movie , my brain starts to make connections with the real life and the real struggles we may face as Christians. I mean, I don’t want to sound weird but, if you think about it, everything has a spiritual reallity behind it, everything we see and experience has more layers than our eyes can see, right?!
If you did not watched the first part of season 4( and the previous seasons), I have to warn you: This post will have some spoilers! =)
Like in the story that goes in Stranger Things, the major things always happens first in our minds: There are dark “forces” that are acting in Hopkins, like this vilain, Vecna, who takes control over people minds, untill he takes them completely, killing and absorbing their lives!
This dark creature, uses his force to take people as a host, so he can have access to the “real world” . He belongs to the upside down world, but his goal is to open doors to our world. And how he does that? Taking peoples lives, as a parasite, and ultimately, taking them as a “sacrifique” to open a portal. The goal, obsviously, its to take control of the real world, just to bring destruction.
Let’s bring this story to our reality and remind that in Ephesians 6 says that “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places”. There are sipiritual forces out there, trying to take control of minds, groups and nations as I write this. I watch ths show pretty aware that, what is hapenning in fiction is actually a reflection of what happens all the time in the spiritual world!
There are people out there living with their minds completely controled by the enemy, living as hosts for evil and destruction. Think about how many people are living slavered by fear, depression, anxiety?! How many already gave upon life, because they were to weak to fight against it?
I don’t want to go deep in it, but we are living unprecedented times where people are being brain washed to believe and say all the same things, the mainstream is dictating what is acceptable or not for a long time now. What it is reasonable and what does not offend people, right? Where does it come from?
We have to be aware all the time that nothing is by mistake, that we are in a constant spiritual war and our minds and hearts must to be protected. Otherwise we are going to be just another victim of a parasite that wants to control our minds and lives. Some speechs can seems harmless, but if you know the Word of God, we must be prepared to protect yurself against some mindsets that are spread in our society! Vecna is not kidding, people(if you a fan, you know what I mean)
The second lesson we can learn with this show is: Like Eleven, people sometimes, just try to live a “normal” life, they are just trying to fit in society. However, when we try to fit in, we are living out of our prupose and that means we can lose our “superpowers”!
Eleven has a special calling, she has a important role in the mission of saving Hopkins, with the help of her friends. But when she goes to another place and try to live a “normal life”, like everybody else, she gradually loses her power. She was tired of “being different” but soon she discovered that even trying, she couldn’t be like the rest of the “cool people”. She was born to be differemt and play a specific and important role.
When we try to fit in, leaving behind who we were created to be, because we, like El, want to be accepted, we get lost in the proccess and lose our superpower: Being uniquely ourselves, who God created us to be, with strengths and weaknesses, but having a special and powerful role in this world!
The Word of God says: “Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.” (Psalm 139:14-16)
I know that there are times when we can’t realize that, because we are comparing ourselves with others, or because people made us believe that we are not enough, but God make not mistakes, He made us perfect on His sight,and we are wonderfully made, just the way we are! Never doubt it.
The third lesson we can learn from Strangers Things: Together we are stronger than the most powerful evil!
The whole story starts with a group of friends, who share some interests and passion, like D&D! In the “real world” they are just a band of nerds and weirdos, but when the adventure begings and their city and the whole world are in danger, they reveal themselves as true heroes! What used to be use to shame them becomes a strength, and together, they change everything and fight for their families and friends! They discovered the power of unity and how adversities can reveal a strength that even they didn’t know that was there, deep inside!
Jesus also tell us that, when we are one, we are more powerful, that’s why He prayed:
“I’m praying not only for them But also for those who will believe in me Because of them and their witness about me. The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind— Just as you, Father, are in me and I in you, So they might be one heart and mind with us. Then the world might believe that you, in fact, sent me. The same glory you gave me, I gave them, So they’ll be as unified and together as we are— I in them and you in me. Then they’ll be mature in this oneness, And give the godless world evidence That you’ve sent me and loved them In the same way you’ve loved me.”( John 17:20-23)
There is power in unity, specially if we are united with God, sharing His mind, heart and purposes! That’s also why the enemy wants to rob our minds, like I said in the beginning, because our mindset will determine they way we see ourselves, the way we live and interact with others. What kind of mind do you want to have? The mind of Christ, who brings wisdom, healing and direction or the mindset of the world, wich is corrupted by lies and selfishness? You decide who you want to follow, but remember: If Jesus is not in control of your life, some other power are, and its not good at all. There is no neutral ground, friends!
I hope this reflection had helped you to see through, because our reality is more deep than our eyes can see! We need to discern what we see, hear and experince, knowing that this world has a spiritual reality and we are in the middle of a war! Let’s be wise and revest ourselves with the Spirit of God and every weapon he gave us to fight!
“And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no weekend war that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.
Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.”(Ephesians 6:10-18)
O que nós podemos aprender com “Stranger Things”?
Ei, amigo! Como você está? Espero que você esteja bem!
Não sei se você já assistiu a essa série, mas tenho que dizer: É muito interessante (se você gosta de suspense e terror, como eu) e podemos aprender algumas boas lições com todo o cenário bizarro que se passa em Stranger Things.
Deixe-me dizer primeiro que, toda vez que assisto a uma série ou um bom filme, meu cérebro começa a fazer conexões com a vida real e as lutas reais que podemos enfrentar como cristãos. Quer dizer, não quero parecer estranha, mas, se você pensar bem, tudo tem uma realidade espiritual por trás, tudo o que vemos e vivenciamos tem mais camadas do que nossos olhos podem ver, certo?!
Se você não assistiu a 4ª temporada (e as temporadas anteriores), tenho que avisar: Esse post terá alguns spoilers! =)
Como na história que se passa em Stranger Things, as coisas sempre acontecem primeiro no campo da mente: Existem “forças” obscuras que estão agindo em Hopkins, como esse vilão, Vecna, que assume o controle sobre a mente das pessoas, até que ele as toma completamente, matando e absorvendo suas vidas!
Essa criatura sombria, usa sua força para tornar as pessoas suas hospedeiras, para que possa ter acesso ao “mundo real”. Ele pertence ao mundo invertido, mas seu objetivo é abrir portas para o nosso mundo. E como ele faz isso? Tomando a vida das pessoas como um parasita e depois como um “sacrifício” para abrir um portal. O objetivo, obviamente, é assumir o controle do mundo real, apenas para trazer destruição.
Vamos trazer isso para a nossa realidade e lembrar que Efésios 6 diz: “Porque não lutamos contra carne e sangue, mas contra os governantes, contra as autoridades, contra os poderes cósmicos sobre esta escuridão presente, contra as forças espirituais do mal em os lugares celestiais”. Existem forças espirituais lá fora, tentando assumir o controle de mentes, grupos e nações enquanto eu escrevo isso. Eu assisto essa serie bem ciente de que, o que está acontecendo na ficção é na verdade um reflexo do que acontece o tempo todo no mundo espiritual!
Existem pessoas por aí vivendo com suas mentes completamente controladas pelo inimigo, vivendo como hospedeiros do mal e da destruição. Pense em quantas pessoas estão vivendo escravizadas pelo medo, depressão, ansiedade?! Quantos já desistiram da vida, porque eram fracos demais para lutar contra esse controle?
Não quero me aprofundar nisso, mas estamos vivendo tempos sem precedentes, onde as pessoas estão sendo levadas a acreditar e dizer as mesmas coisas. A mídia está ditando o que é aceitável ou não há muito tempo. O que é razoável e o que não ofende as pessoas, certo? De onde isso vem?
Temos que estar cientes o tempo todo de que nada é por acaso, que estamos em uma guerra espiritual constante e nossas mentes e corações devem ser protegidos. Caso contrário, seremos apenas mais uma vítima de um parasita que quer controlar nossas mentes e vidas. Alguns discursos podem parecer inofensivos, mas se você conhece a Palavra de Deus, deve estar preparado para se proteger contra algumas mentalidades que estão se espalhando na nossa sociedade! Vecna não está pra brincadeira, pessoal (se você é fã, sabe o que quero dizer rs)
A segunda lição que podemos aprender com esta série é: Como Onze, às vezes, nós apenas estamos tentando viver uma vida “normal”, estamos tentando nos encaixar na sociedade. Porém, quando tentamos nos encaixar, estamos vivendo fora do nosso propósito, então gradualmente perdemos nossos “poderes”!
Onze tem um chamado especial, ela tem um papel importante na missão de salvar Hopkins, com a ajuda de seus amigos. Mas quando ela vai para outro lugar e tenta viver uma “vida normal”, como todo mundo, ela gradualmente perde seu poder. Ela estava cansada de “ser diferente” mas logo descobriu que mesmo tentando, não conseguia ser como o resto das “pessoas legais”. Ela nasceu para ser diferente e desempenhar um papel específico e importante.
Quando tentamos nos encaixar, deixando para trás quem fomos criados para ser, porque nós, como a On, queremos ser aceitos, nós nos perdemos no processo e perdemos nosso superpoder: Ser unicamente nós mesmos, quem Deus nos criou para ser, com pontos fortes e fracos, mas tendo um papel especial e poderoso neste mundo!
A Palavra de Deus diz: “Oh sim, você me moldou primeiro por dentro, depois por fora; você me formou no ventre de minha mãe. Eu te agradeço, Alto Deus – você é de tirar o fôlego! Corpo e alma, eu sou maravilhosamente feito! Eu adoro em adoração — que criação! Você me conhece por dentro e por fora, conhece cada osso do meu corpo; Você sabe exatamente como fui feito, pouco a pouco, como fui esculpido do nada em algo. Como um livro aberto, você assistiu eu cresci da concepção ao nascimento; todas as etapas da minha vida foram espalhadas antes de você, Os dias da minha vida todos preparados antes mesmo de eu viver um dia.” (Salmo 139:14-16)
Eu sei que há momentos em que não percebemos isso, porque estamos nos comparando com os outros, ou porque as pessoas nos fizeram acreditar que não somos suficientes, mas Deus não comete erros! Ele nos fez perfeitos aos Seus olhos, e nós somos maravilhosamente feitos, do jeito que somos! Nunca duvide disso.
A terceira lição que podemos aprender com Strangers Things: Juntos somos mais fortes que o mal mais poderoso!
A história toda começa com um grupo de amigos, que compartilham alguns interesses e paixões, como D&D! No “mundo real” eles são apenas um bando de nerds e esquisitos, mas quando a aventura começa e sua cidade e o mundo inteiro estão em perigo, eles se revelam como verdadeiros heróis! O que antes era usado para envergonhá-los se torna uma força e, juntos, eles mudam tudo e lutam por suas famílias e amigos! Eles descobrem o poder da união e como as adversidades podem revelar uma força interna que nem eles sabiam que tinham!
Jesus também nos diz que, quando somos um, somos mais poderosos, por isso Ele orou:
“Estou orando não só por eles Mas também para aqueles que vão acreditar em mim Por causa deles e do testemunho deles sobre mim. O objetivo é que todos eles se tornem um só coração e mente— Assim como você, Pai, está em mim e eu em você, Assim, eles podem ser um só coração e mente conosco. Então o mundo pode acreditar que você, de fato, me enviou. A mesma glória que você me deu, eu dei a eles, Então eles estarão tão unidos e juntos quanto nós… Eu neles e você em mim. Então eles serão maduros nesta unidade, E dar ao mundo ateu evidências Que você me enviou e os amou Da mesma forma que você me amou.” (João 17:20-23)
Há poder na unidade, especialmente se estivermos unidos com Deus, compartilhando Sua mente, coração e propósitos! É por isso também que o inimigo quer roubar nossas mentes, como eu disse no início, porque nossa mentalidade determinará a maneira como nos vemos, a maneira como vivemos e interagimos com os outros. Que tipo de mente você quer ter? A mente de Cristo, que traz sabedoria, cura e direção ou a mentalidade do mundo, que é corrompida pela mentira e pelo egoísmo? Você decide quem você quer seguir, mas lembre-se: se Jesus não está no controle de sua vida, algum outro poder está, e não é nada bom. Não existe terreno neutro, amigos!
Espero que esta reflexão tenha ajudado você a enxergar, pois nossa realidade é mais profunda do que nossos olhos podem ver, precisamos discernir o que vemos, ouvimos e vivenciamos, sabendo que este mundo tem uma realidade espiritual e estamos no meio uma guerra! Sejamos sábios e nos revestimos com o Espírito de Deus e todas as armas que ele nos deu para lutar!
“E isso encerra tudo. Deus é forte, e ele quer você forte. Então pegue tudo o que o Mestre preparou para você, armas bem feitas dos melhores materiais. E coloque-as em uso para que você possa resistir até tudo o que o diabo joga em seu caminho. Esta não é uma guerra de fim de semana da qual vamos nos afastar e esquecer em algumas horas. Isso é para valer, uma luta de vida ou morte até o fim contra o diabo e seus anjos.
Esteja preparado. Você enfrenta muito mais do que pode lidar sozinho. Pegue toda a ajuda que puder obter, todas as armas que Deus emitiu, para que, quando tudo acabar, exceto os gritos, você ainda esteja de pé. Verdade, justiça, paz, fé e salvação são mais do que palavras. Saiba como aplicá-los. Você vai precisar deles ao longo de sua vida. A Palavra de Deus é uma arma indispensável. Da mesma forma, a oração é essencial nesta guerra contínua. Ore muito e longamente. Ore por seus irmãos e irmãs. Mantenha seus olhos abertos. Mantenham o ânimo uns dos outros para que ninguém fique para trás ou desista.” (Efésios 6:10-18- A Mensagem)
“Itis for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” ( Galatians 5:1)
Hello dear reader! How have you been? Today I want to reflect a little on what it means to be free! I hope this reflection blesses you! Enjoy it! =)
The gift of freedom that Jesus conquered for us on the cross is definitive and complete. It happens right at the moment we confess Jesus as our Savior and Lord! However, the practice of this life of freedom it is gradually developed, because we need to learn, day by day, with the Scriptures, that we are new creatures in Christ! Now we are sons and daughters of His Kingdom.
What we used to practice and love in the past, our old identity, does not belong to us anymore. It is a daily challenge to embrace this free new life, because it is our mindset that guides our actions and decisions.
If Christ already set us free of the slavery of sins and the burden of accusation( and He did!) so we must live accordily with this new standard!
Day after day, we must choose to get rid of those voices of accusation inside of our heads and those that surrounds us. There are, also, old thoughts that want to make us believe that we are not capable of changing, that we are still the same. That is a dirt lie from the enemy!
We are not a slave anymore, our old habits and thoughts does not defines us anymore. We can say “no” to temptation and sins that used to rule over us! God’s grace makes us able to walk according to His Word, embracing the freedom that Jesus already conquered for us!
“Lord, I am so grateful for your forgiveness and redemption for me! Show me how to put my freedom in practice! Help me to stay away from the old things that used to ruled over me! In Jesus name, amem.” (From “Strong” dovotional, by Lisa Bevere)
I hope that encourages you to surrender all your burdens to Jesus! Whether sins, battles, tempations or voices of accusation inside your head. He can handle it! Just be honest with Him and ask for help. He is always willing to rescue us and walk with us, side by side!
“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love (…)
“So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. Abraçando o dom da liberdade!
“Éé para a liberdade que Cristo nos libertou. Mantenham-se firmes, então, e não se deixem sobrecarregar novamente por um jugo de escravidão.” (Gálatas 5:1)
Olá querido leitor! Como você tem passado? Hoje quero refletir um pouco sobre o que significa ser livre! Espero que essa reflexão te abençoe!
O dom da liberdade que Jesus conquistou para nós na cruz é definitivo e completo. Tomamos posse dele no exato momento em que confessamos Jesus como nosso Senhor e Salvador! Porém, a prática desta vida de liberdade se desenvolve gradativamente, pois precisamos aprender, dia após dia com as Escrituras, que somos novas criaturas em Cristo! Agora somos filhos e filhas de Seu Reino.
O que costumávamos praticar e amar no passado, nossa antiga identidade, não nos pertence mais. É um desafio diário abraçar essa nova vida de liberdade, porque é nossa mentalidade que orienta nossas ações e decisões.
Se Cristo já nos libertou da escravidão dos pecados e do fardo da acusação (e Ele o fez!), então devemos viver de acordo com esse novo padrão!
Dia após dia, devemos optar por nos livrar dessas vozes de acusação dentro de nossas cabeças e daquelas que nos cercam. Há, aqueles velhos pensamentos que ainda querem nos fazer acreditar que não somos capazes de mudar, que ainda somos os mesmos. Isso é uma mentira do inimigo!
Não somos mais escravos, nossos velhos hábitos e pensamentos não nos definem mais. Podemos dizer “não” à tentação e aos pecados que costumavam nos dominar! A graça de Deus nos torna capazes de andar de acordo com a Sua Palavra, abraçando a liberdade que Jesus já conquistou para nós!
“Senhor, sou muito grata por seu perdão e redenção entregues a mim! Mostre-me como colocar minha liberdade em prática! Ajude-me a ficar longe das velhas coisas que costumavam governar minha vida! Em nome de Jesus, amem.” (Do devocional “Strong”, de Lisa Bevere)
Espero que isso o encoraje a entregar todos os seus fardos a Jesus! Sejam pecados, batalhas, tentações ou vozes de acusação dentro de sua cabeça. Ele pode lidar com isso! Apenas seja honesto com Ele e peça ajuda. Ele está sempre disposto a nos resgatar e caminhar conosco, lado a lado!
“Vocês, meus irmãos e irmãs, foram chamados para serem livres. Mas não usem sua liberdade para satisfazer a carne; em vez disso, sirvam uns aos outros humildemente em amor (…)
“Então eu digo, ande pelo Espírito, e você não satisfará os desejos da carne. 17 Pois os desejos da carne o que é contrário ao Espírito, e o Espírito o que é contrário à carne. Eles estão em conflito um com o outro, para que você não faça o que quiser. 18 Mas se você for guiado pelo Espírito, você não está sob a lei.” (Gálatas 5:13-18)

I love psalm 127!
I love how it goes through our biggest concerns: It talks about family, work hard, security, time and how we should see our children: An inheritance from God!
Lately, God began to driven my attention to this important matter: Children! And how my daughter is an indispensable and importantl part of God’s plan in every area of my life!
Sometimes, we are so overhelmed by routine and work and bills to pay that we don’t realize that we are living on automatic pilot!
I thought, in my foolish naivy, that I had everything under control(haha). But recently, God got my attention to remember that we are a team! He wants to work in and with me, and most important, that I am definitely not in control!
I try hard to teach my daughter the Word of God. I tell her how important is to pray, we pray and read the bible together and I always remember her that it is not about religion, that she needs to develop a real and close relationship with God!
However, I forgot that, like me and everybody else, even the most firm and experienced Christian, she will have battles to fight against doubts and lies. She will face highs and lows in her faith walk!
That is why you and I, need to remember, specially if you are a parent, that we need God’s help! We need to be firmly rooted in his Word, so we can face the stormy seasons of our lives!
Like the psalm says:
“If God’s grace doesn’t help the builders, they will labor in vain to build a house. If God’s mercy doesn’t protect the city, all the sentries will circle it in vain.“
That means if God it is not the center of my life and family, I am fighting in vain to do the right thing! I need to put my life and trust on Him, steping back and leting Him lead me through the battles and decisions, all the way to the finish line!
Sometimes I forget that He is always taking care of me and those I love. God is there when I am sleeping. His Presence is there, where my eyes and arms can’t reach! He was there even when I was trying to run away of His Presence and plans for me!
He never lost control!
Family is God’s plan for humanity! It is a GIFT from Him, to teach us how to relate in a healthy way, how to give ourselves to the benefit of others and how to build a legacy align with His plans, that will last for generations!
He designed it in and for us, to show us how we put LOVE in practice, always in partenership with Him. It’s how we going to reveal his love and character to the world! It is a deep mistery, a reflection from the spiritual realm from above, that we are called to live here on earth, first!
It is hard to be a parent right? Even more a single mom! However, God always reminds me of His Grace and active Presence in my life! He is with me on this daily battle to sow his Word and truth in the heart of my daughter and keep that in mine, no matter how the situation looks like!
Our children are our legacy! It is through them that a godly model of family and daily relationship will pass through the generations! That’s why it is so hard sometimes, to put the Word of God in practie, denying ourselves and trust him to do what we can’t!
The world out there is fighting hard against it! They want to take control of our children minds and identity! They are taking all the fronts possible to dictate what it’s true and what it’s acceptable! This is war, my friend!
If we don’t put our trust in God alone and let Him lead our family and future, we are hopeless! There is no way we can fight this battle in our own strength!
I don’t know what area of your life you are fighting for, maybe it is like me, for the faith of your children, maybe it is for your marriage or relatives, but remember: God is the One watching for the safety of the city! Outside of Him, we are working hard for nothing!
We need to surrender all the control to him! Let all our worries and plans at His hands and He will lead us through the right way!
Perseverance is key! Remember: One step at the time! We can’t win the whole war in one day with just one move. We are called to fight one battle at the time, leaning on God’s strength, not in our own ability!
Our family is our number one priority, our legacy! Its a well designed weapon against this fallen culture, that despises God and His Word! Don’t let anyone or anything tell you the opposite. There is no carrier or ministry or personal plans that can replace the importante and the beauty of family in our lives!
Take care of those you love as a priority! And remember that you don’t have to do it alone! God is right there, ready to help you and walk by you through the struggles of life!
We are called to sow good seeds in the heart of our children,spouses and loved ones! Watering it daily and trusting God to do the growth! When we work in partnership with Jesus, time is working for us, not against us!
We can rest on God’s promises for us and our family! Never forget that we are part of his plans, since the beginning of times!
He will fight for us and with us!
“If God doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves? Don’t you see that children are God’s best gift? the fruit of the womb his generous legacy? Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Uma arma bem desenhada!
“Os filhos são herança do Senhor, uma recompensa que ele dá. 4 Como flechas nas mãos do guerreiro são os filhos nascidos na juventude. 5 Como é feliz o homem que tem a sua aljava cheia deles! Não será humilhado quando enfrentar seus inimigos no tribunal.“
Eu amo o salmo 127!
Eu amo como ele passa por nossas maiores preocupações: Fala sobre família, trabalho duro, segurança, tempo, descanso e como devemos ver nossos filhos: Uma herança de Deus e uma arma nas batalhas espirituais e diárias!
Ultimamente, Deus começou a chamar minha atenção para este assunto importante: Filhos! E como minha filha é uma parte importante e indispensável nos plano de Deus em todas as áreas da minha vida!
Às vezes, ficamos tão sobrecarregados com a rotina, o trabalho e as contas pra pagar que não percebemos que estamos vivendo no piloto automático!
Eu achei , na minha tola ingenuidade, que tinha tudo sob controle (haha), mas recentemente, Deus me lembrou de que somos uma equipe, que Ele quer trabalhar comigo e em mim. E, o mais importante, que definitivamente eu não estou no controle!
Eu me esforço muito para ensinar pra minha filha a Palavra de Deus. Eu digo a ela o quão importante é orar, oramos e lemos a bíblia juntas e sempre a lembro que não é sobre religião, que ela precisa desenvolver uma relação real e pessoal com Deus!
No entanto, eu me esqueci que, como eu e todo mundo, mesmo o cristão mais firme e experiente, ela terá batalhas para lutar contra as dúvidas e mentiras que tentam plantar na vida dela. Ela enfrentará altos e baixos em sua caminhada de fé!
É por isso que você e eu precisamos nos lembrar, especialmente como pais, que precisamos continuamente da ajuda de Deus! Precisamos estar firmemente enraizados em sua Palavra, para que possamos enfrentar as temporadas desafiadoras da vida!
Como diz o salmista:
“Se a graça de Deus não ajudar os construtores, eles trabalharão em vão para construir uma casa. Se a misericórdia de Deus não protege a cidade, todas as sentinelas o circundarão em vão. “
Isso significa que se Deus não é o centro da minha vida e da minha família, estou lutando em vão para fazer a coisa certa! Preciso colocar minha vida e confiança Nele, dando um passo para trás e deixando que Ele me lidere através das batalhas e decisões, até a linha de chegada!
Às vezes, eu me esqueço que Ele está sempre cuidando de mim e daqueles que eu amo. Deus está lá quando estou dormindo. Sua Presença está lá, onde meus olhos e braços não alcançam! Ele estava lá mesmo quando eu estava tentando fugir de Sua Presença e planos para mim!
Ele nunca perdeu o controle!
Família é um plano de Deus para a humanidade! É um DOM Dele, para nos ensinar como nos relacionarmos de forma saudável, como nos doarmos em benefício dos outros e como construir um legado alinhado aos Seus princípios, que durará por gerações!
Ele a projetou em e para nós, para nos mostrar como colocamos o AMOR em prática, sempre em parceria com ele. É assim que vamos revelar seu amor e caráter para o mundo! É um mistério profundo, um reflexo do reino espiritual de cima, que somos chamados a viver aqui na Terra, primeiro!
É difícil ser pai/mãe não é? Ainda mais mãe solteira! Porém, Deus sempre me lembra de Sua Graça e Presença protetora na minha vida! Ele está comigo nesta batalha diária para semear sua Palavra e verdade no coração da minha filha e mantê-la sempre no meu, não importa quão difícil a situação se pareça!
Nossos filhos são nosso legado! É através deles que um modelo bíblico de família e relacionamento diário passará através das gerações! É por isso que, às vezes, é tão difícil colocar a Palavra de Deus em prática, negar a nós mesmos e confiar que Ele fará o que não podemos! Nós enfrentaremos resistência.
O mundo lá fora está lutando arduamente contra isso! Eles querem assumir o controle da identidade e da mente de nossos filhos! Eles estão tomando todas as frentes possíveis para ditar o que é verdade e o que é aceitável! Isso é guerra, meu amigo!
Se não colocarmos nossa confiança somente em Deus e deixarmos Ele liderar nossa família e nosso futuro, não teremos nenhuma esperança! Não há como travarmos essa batalha com nossas próprias forças!
Não sei por qual área da sua vida você está lutando, talvez seja como eu, pela fé dos seus filhos, talvez seja pelo seu casamento ou por seus parentes, mas lembre-se: “Deus é quem zela pela segurança da cidade!” Fora dele, estamos trabalhando duro para nada!
Precisamos entregar todo o controle a Ele! Deixar todas as nossas preocupações e planos em Suas mãos e confiar que Ele nos guiará no caminho certo!
Perseverança é uma chave! Lembre-se: um passo de cada vez! Não podemos vencer a guerra inteira em um dia com apenas um movimento. Somos chamados para travar uma batalha de cada vez, apoiando-nos na força de Deus, não em nossa própria capacidade!
Nossa família é nossa prioridade número um, nosso legado! É uma arma bem projetada contra esta cultura caída, que despreza a Deus e Sua Palavra! Não deixe ninguém ou nada lhe dizer o contrário. Não há carreira, ministério ou planos pessoais que possam substituir a importância e a beleza da família em nossas vidas!
Dê prioridade a quem você ama! E lembre-se de que você não precisa fazer isso sozinho! Deus está ali, pronto para ajudá-lo e caminhar ao seu lado nas lutas da vida!
Somos chamados a semear boas sementes no coração dos nossos filhos, cônjuges e entes queridos! Regando-as diariamente e confiando em Deus para dar o crescimento! Quando trabalhamos em parceria com Jesus, o tempo trabalha a nosso favor, não contra nós!
Podemos descansar nas promessas de Deus para nós e pra nossa família! Nunca se esqueça que fazemos parte de Seus planos, desde o início dos tempos!
Ele lutará por nós e conosco!
“Se não for o Senhor o construtor da casa, será inútil trabalhar na construção. Se não é o Senhor que vigia a cidade, será inútil a sentinela montar guarda. 2 Será inútil levantar cedo e dormir tarde, trabalhando arduamente por alimento. O Senhor concede o sono àqueles a quem ele ama.
3 Os filhos são herança do Senhor, uma recompensa que ele dá. 4 Como flechas nas mãos do guerreiro são os filhos nascidos na juventude. 5 Como é feliz o homem que tem a sua aljava cheia deles! Não será humilhado quando enfrentar seus inimigos no tribunal.“ Salmos 127
“Como é feliz quem teme o Senhor, quem anda em seus caminhos!
2 Você comerá do fruto do seu trabalho, e será feliz e próspero. 3 Sua mulher será como videira frutífera em sua casa; seus filhos serão como brotos de oliveira ao redor da sua mesa. 4 Assim será abençoado o homem que teme o Senhor!
5 Que o Senhor o abençoe desde Sião, para que você veja a prosperidade de Jerusalém todos os dias da sua vida, 6 e veja os filhos dos seus filhos.
Have you ever asked yourself what is a normal state of mind?!
Today I want to talk about one of the mind conditions that is, definetely, not normal: Passitivity!
Reading this great book “The battlefied of the mind”, I find out that, one of the various anormal states of our minds it’s passivity, and I could relate. There are some moments or situations that I’ve become passive about it! Acepting a mindset that was wrong and believing the lie that I couldn’t do anything about it!
Think about it: Even when we are attacked by thoughts that makes us feel bad, scared or feeling guilty, we have the power to choose not to believe in them. We have the power to change the way we think, actively!
The Word of God has a lot of things to say about the mind and also, how we can fight back wrong mindsets: Using the sword of the Spirit, wich is, precisely, the Word of God!
“18Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.”
If God gave this comand to His people, it is because there is a poupose in keeping His Word in mind! Here are some of the reasons:
“Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace!” Romans 8:5-6
The mind governed by the Spirit( of God) is life and peace! If we want to have a mind and a life governed by God, we need to know what He says about things, how He thinks. How we could know that? Reading His Words and keeping that in our hearts and minds, all the time!
“Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.” 1 Peter 1:13
If we want to overcome passivity or any other wrong state of mind, we need to be alert and fully sober, knowing right from wrong, truth from lies! Only then, we can change the (wrong) way we think and, consequently, change the way we act!
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
If we want to fight back the state of passivity, “do not conform”, with the bad thoughts and patterns that makes us sick and confused, is the key to overcome it! The secret is ahead “be transformed by the renewing of your mind”.
We only gonna be transformed, if we change what feeds our minds! How we do that? Filling us up with the truth, the Word of God, wich is “light to our path and lamp to our feet!”
With all that said, I just want to close it up with this advice: When your mind is attacked again, don’t be passive, thinking that is nothing you can do to change it. Be active! Do something different, so you can reap different results!
Shut down every source that makes your mind go to the wrong way! Choose to feed it with hope and truth, declaring the Word of God, over and over again, untill you start to see a change of mindset: More awaken, full of good possibilities and hope, energizing you to believe in a better tomorrow, but also helping you to enjoy your today!
Remember: You are not alone in this battle against your mind! Ask for help anytime you need! Call a family member, a friend, a person you can trust and talk about it, you don’t have to suffer alone.
Also, keep in mind that is a Great Power above you, that can help you change, more than anything else. Pray to God, to renew your strength, to show you the way and help you to be perseverant, using the tools He already gaves everyone of us to fight!
We can do it friends!

Vencendo uma mentalidade deturpada!
Você já se perguntou o que é uma “mentalidade ou um estado de mente” normal?!
Hoje eu quero falar sobre uma das condições mentais que, definitivamente, não é normal: Passividade!
Essa manhã, eu estava (re)lendo este livro incrível, “O campo de batalha da mente”, e descobri que um dos vários estados anormais de nossas mentes é a passividade, e eu pude me identificar. Existem alguns momentos ou situações em que eu me mantive passiva! Eu aceitei uma mentalidade que estava errada e acreditei na mentira de que eu não poderia fazer nada a respeito!
Pense nisso: Mesmo quando somos atacados por pensamentos que nos fazem sentir mal, assustados ou culpados, temos o poder de escolher não acreditar neles. Temos o poder de mudar a maneira como pensamos, ativamente!
A Palavra de Deus tem muito a dizer sobre a mente e também, como podemos lutar contra as mentalidades erradas: Usando a espada do Espírito, que é, precisamente , a própria Palavra de Deus!
” Fixe estas minhas palavras em seus corações e mentes; amarre-as como símbolos em seu mãos e amarre-as na testa. “
Se Deus deu esse comando ao Seu povo, é porque há um propósito em manter a Sua Palavra em mente! Aqui estão alguns dos motivos:
“Aqueles que vivem de acordo com a carne têm sua mente s voltada para o que a carne deseja; mas aqueles que vivem de acordo com o Espírito tem sua mente posta no que o Espírito deseja. A mente governada pela carne é a morte, mas a mente governada pelo Espírito é vida e paz ! ” Romanos 8: 5-6
A mente governada pelo Espírito (de Deus) é vida e paz! Se quisermos ter uma mente e uma vida governada por Deus, precisamos saber o que Ele diz sobre as coisas, como Ele pensa. Como poderíamos saber disso? Lendo Sua Palavra e mantendo essa verdade em nossos corações e mentes, o tempo todo!
“Portanto, com a mente alerta e totalmente sóbria, coloque sua esperança na graça que será trazida a você quando Jesus Cristo é revelado em sua vinda. “1 Pedro 1:13
Se quisermos superar a passividade ou qualquer outro estado mental enganoso, precisamos estar alertas e totalmente sóbrios, distinguindo o certo do errado, a verdade das mentiras! Só assim, podemos mudar a maneira (errada) de pensar e, consequentemente, mudar a forma como agimos!
Não se conforme com o padrão deste mundo, mas seja transformado pela renovação de sua mente. Então você poderá testar e aprovar qual é a vontade de Deus – sua boa, agradável e perfeita vontade.
Se quisermos lutar contra a passividade, “não se conformar” com os pensamentos e padrões nocivos, que nos deixam doentes e confusos são a chave para superá-los! O segredo está à frente “ seja transformado pela renovação da sua mente”.
Nós só seremos transformados, mudando o que alimenta nossas mentes. Como fazemos isso? Nos ENCHENDO da verdade, da Palavra de Deus, que é “ lâmpada para os nossos pés e luz para o nosso caminho!”
Tendo dito isso, eu só para encerrar com este conselho: Quando sua mente for atacada novamente, não seja passivo, pensando que não há nada que você possa fazer para mudá-la. Seja ativo! Faça algo diferente para obter resultados diferentes!
Desligue todas as “fontes” que fazem sua mente ir para o caminho errado! Escolha alimentá-la com esperança e verdade, declarando a Palavra de Deus, repetidamente, até você começar a ver uma mudança de mentalidade: Mais desperta, cheia de boas possibilidades e esperança, te energizando para acreditar em um amanhã melhor, mas também te ajudando a aproveitar o seu PRESENTE!
Lembre-se: você não está sozinho nesta batalha travada contra a sua mente! Peça ajuda sempre que precisar! Ligue para um familiar, um amigo, uma pessoa em quem você pode confiar e converse sobre isso, você não precisa sofrer sozinho.
Além disso, tenha em mente que existe um Grande Poder acima de você, que pode ajudá-lo a mudar, mais do que qualquer outra coisa. Ore a Deus, para renovar suas forças, para mostrar-lhe o caminho e ajudá-lo a ser perseverante, usando as ferramentas que Ele já deu a cada um de nós para lutar!
Nós podemos fazer isso!
“ Nós demolimos argumentos e toda pretensão que se coloca contra o conhecimento de Deus, e levamos cativo todo pensamento para torná-lo obediente a Cristo.” (2 Coríntios 10: 5)
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for.” Hebrews 11:1
How many times you thought you were crazy to believe in something “unreachable”?!
Or maybe, like Abraham and Sarah you laughed of some idea(promise) that cross your mind (but it was that known whispering voice inside of you!)
I know that I did! I laughed at some crazy thoughts that God gave me, for thinking it was impossible for me to achieve it!
Sometimes, things get confused and we don’t know what is really God talking to us and what is our crazy mind playing with us, right? I definitely know this feeling.
In this season of my life, I am learning (again) how it feels like to live by faith, trusting God in every area, every step on the way! Because, to be honest, I don’t have another option. “Where could I go, God? You hold my whole life together.”
However, I really struggle sometimes with the unknown. “What if?!” my mind wonders and I never know where is this invisible line between faith and crazyness?! It is not easy to find out! lol
When we really don’t know what to do, we all have two options: Get crazy and stressed by what we can’t control or change, or just be honest with God and surrender to Him what we can’t handle! (Sometimes is almost everything, isn’t it?)
The bible says that “…without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hb 11:6)
If we really want to live a godly life, we need to develop a trusting relationship with Him, having faith that He is working in our behalf and that He knows what we can and can’t handle without His help!
It is through difficult times that we can develop a STRONG relationship with God that results in a unshakable faith! There is no easy way to learn it, let’s be honest.
If you are not struggling in some area(s) of your life, you ain’t going to seek God like you should and, in a weak relationship, your faith can’t grow!
That’s why James 1:2-4 says “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, a whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
We need to face hard things so we can grow in spiritual maturity, having a strong faith! That will helps us in the next challenges of our lives and shape our identity as sons and daughters of God!
I don’t know wich crazy promises God has for your life, or dreams that He put in your heart, but faith is your fuel to accomplish it!
Don’t give up, keep going even when the idea seems ridiculous and your thoughts are making fun of you!
Keep declaring the Word of God over your life! And when you feel too tired and disappointed to keep going, lay down your burdens and rest on Him!
He knows how to restore our strength and refresh our wounded hearts!
When all the circunstances says “no”, keep pushing forward. Praise Him in every situation, and watch the giants fall before you!

Por que precisamos exercitar nossa fé?!
“Agora, fé é confiança no que esperamos e garantia sobre o que não vemos. É por isso que os antigos foram elogiados. ” Hebreus 11:1-2
Quantas vezes você pensou que era louco por acreditar em algo “inalcançável”?!
Ou talvez, como Abraão e Sarah, você riu de alguma ideia (uma promessa!) que passou pela sua cabeça? (Mas na verdade, era aquela conhecida voz sussurrante dentro de você!)
Eu sei que eu sim! Eu ri de alguns pensamentos malucos que Deus me deu, por pensar que era impossível para mim alcançá-los!
Às vezes, as coisas ficam confusas e não sabemos o que é realmente Deus falando conosco e o que é a nossa mente maluca brincando com a gente, não é? Eu definitivamente conheço esse sentimento.
Nessa temporada da minha vida, estou (re)aprendendo como é viver pela fé, confiando em Deus em cada área, em cada passo do caminho! Porque, para ser sincera, não tenho outra opção. “Para onde eu poderia ir, Deus? Você é quem segura minha vida inteira.”
No entanto, às vezes eu realmente luto com o desconhecido. “E se?!” minha mente se pergunta e eu nunca sei onde fica essa “linha invisível entre a fé e a loucura“(?!). Não é nada fácil descobrir! rs
Quando realmente não sabemos o que fazer, todos temos duas opções: Enlouquecer e nos estressar por aquilo que não podemos controlar ou mudar ou apenas sermos honesto com Deus e render a Ele o que não podemos controlar! (Às vezes é quase tudo, não é?)
A bíblia diz que “… sem fé é impossível agradar a Deus, porque quem vem a ele deve acreditar que ele existe e que recompensa aqueles que o procuram sinceramente.” (Hb 11: 6)
Se realmente queremos viver uma vida piedosa, precisamos desenvolver um relacionamento de confiança com Ele, tendo fé que Ele está trabalhando por nós e que sabe o que podemos ou não aguentar sem a ajuda Dele!
É somente em tempos difíceis que podemos desenvolver um relacionamento FORTE com Deus que resulta em uma fé inabalável! Não existe uma maneira fácil de aprender, sejamos honestos.
Se você não estiver lutando em alguma área da sua vida, você não vai buscar a Deus como deveria e, em um relacionamento fraco, sua fé não pode crescer!
É por isso que Tiago 1: 2-4 diz “Considerem isso pura alegria, meus irmãos e irmãs, a sempre que enfrentar vários tipos de provações, porque você sabe que o teste de sua fé produz perseverança. 4 Deixe a perseverança terminar seu trabalho para que você seja maduro e completo, não faltando nada. “
Precisamos enfrentar as coisas difíceis para que possamos crescer em maturidade espiritual, tendo uma fé forte! Isso vai nos ajudar nos próximos desafios de nossas vidas e moldar nossa identidade como filhos e filhas de Deus!
Não sei quais são as promessas malucas que Deus tem para a sua vida ou os sonhos que Ele colocou no seu coração, mas a fé é o seu combustível para realizá-la!
Não desista, continue, mesmo quando a ideia parecer ridícula e seus pensamentos estiverem zombando de você!
Continue declarando a Palavra de Deus sobre sua vida! E quando você se sentir muito cansado e desapontado para continuar, deixe seus fardos e descanse com Ele!
Ele sabe como restaurar nossas forças e refrescar nossos corações feridos!
Quando todas as circunstâncias disserem “não”, continue avançando. Louve-o em todas as situações e assista (maravilhado) os gigantes caindo diante de você!

Hello everyone!
Today I want to write another episode of “healthy relationships“, giving you some practical tips to change destructive behaviors!
I came from a background that allows me to share with you how bad things can be, when we get used to toxic and destructive behaviors, based in traumas and lies that makes us believe in things about ourselves and others, that is not true!
One of the destructive behavior I kept for a long time in my life was to push people away! I never let anyone get too close of my heart, because I was hurted and I did not believe in the good intentions of anyone!
That kind of reaction certainly came from a lot of disappointments in my life and I started to judge people, putting them all in the same basket: No one is worthy of my trust!
However, I finally understood that I don’t need to live being just a result of what people done to me, I can change the way I see people and the situations, taking control of my life!
There are 3 filters that we can look at, to understand how we became who we are today! And I hope that will help you to realize that, no matter what happened to you, you still have opportunity to change and be happy!
The first one is: Genetic multi-generational predisposition:
The medicine already discovered that some people have predisposition to have some diseases or pshysical and psychological disorders that comes from genetic heritage!
Like alcoholism, that is commom in some families or psychological disorders; both are followed by some specific behaviors that people struggle to change, because of that predisposition!
Thanks to science evolution, it is possible to diminish the effects. There are a lot of treatments available to get better! People can also achieve emotional healing though practical steps, like a support groups or by the help of other (prepared) person and even more, through a close relationship with God! Still, we can’t choose to have or not some of these predispositions.
Early life imprints!
Our imprints (experiences + emotions) are built mostly in childhood! And it creates an automatic response or behavior in adulthood! That means that if you had a trauma when you were young, that will build a barreer in you mind, an automatic response, that makes you defend yurself of the possibility of suffer this kind of trauma again. Most of the time, this kind of behavior is subconscious!
The first 2 are outside of our power to control, but the third is completely under our control!
Life CHOICES!
“Don’t you realize that grace frees you to choose your own master? But choose carefully, for you surrender yourself to become a servant—bound to the one you choose to obey. If you choose to love sin, it will become your master, and it will own you and reward you with death. But if you choose to love and obey God, he will lead you into perfect righteousness.“
Whatever you say YES to, you give it power over your life! The opposite is also true: Whatever you say NO to, you weaken the influence (of that thing or person) on your life!
Every choice starts with a mindset! Think about it: If you think you are not worth of love, that means you gonna push away everyone that really cares about you.
If you think that you are not capable to embrace something new, you gonna run away from everything that is not familiar! And I can say that I experienced these both situations. However, I learned that is possible to get healed and change!!
It is a process to change the way we think, confronting the lies we believe, so we can change the way we act and choose things in life! It is not easy or fast, but it’s totally worth it!
The first thing you can do is to ask for help! Ask to people that cares about you, to help you see what you can’t see for yourself! I found a lot of help joining in a support group, where people would listen to me and help me to see another perspective about myself or some situation!
The second step that may help you to uproot automatic toxic behavior, is to surround yourself with healthier people and healthier enviroment!
Step away from the situations and people who make you repeat that cicle of toxic behaviors!
At last, I want to encourage you to challenge yourself!
Challenge you to experience new things, things that make you feel uncorfortable, but is good for your development! It can be a new hobby, make new friends, jump in a new job opportunity! Things that you never done before.
Find a new field to explore and release yourself from the pressure of not make any mistake, allow yourself to fail! That is part of life and we learn a lot with our failures.
Decide today to stop living in the automatic mode, just reacting to things, and start to ACT, intentionally, to change the course of your life!

Olá amigos!
Hoje eu quero escrever outro post da série “relacionamentos saudáveis”, dando algumas dicas práticas para mudar comportamentos destrutivos!
Eu vim de um histórico que, me permite compartilhar com vocês como as coisas podem ser ruins, quando nos acostumamos a comportamentos tóxicos e destrutivos, baseados em traumas e mentiras que nos fizeram acreditar em coisas sobre nós mesmos e sobre os outros, que não são verdade!
Um dos comportamentos destrutivos que eu mantive por muito tempo na minha vida foi afastar as pessoas! Eu nunca deixei ninguém chegar muito perto do meu coração, porque eu estava ferida e traumatizada e não acreditava nas boas intenções de ninguém!
Esse tipo de reação certamente veio de muitas decepções na minha vida e, por causa disso, eu comecei a julgar as pessoas, colocando todas na mesma cesta: Ninguém é digno da minha confiança!
No entanto, eu finalmente entendi que não preciso viver sendo apenas o resultado do que as pessoas fizeram comigo, posso mudar a maneira como olho pra elas e pras situações, assumindo o controle da minha vida!
Existem 3 filtros que podemos olhar para entender como nos tornamos quem somos hoje! E espero que isso ajude você a perceber que, não importa o que aconteceu, você ainda tem oportunidade de mudar e ser feliz!
O primeiro é: Predisposição genética multigeracional:
A medicina já descobriu que algumas pessoas têm predisposição a ter algumas doenças ou distúrbios físicos e psicológicos que provêm da herança genética!
Como alcoolismo, por exemplo, que é mais comum em algumas famílias; ou distúrbios psicológicos. Ambos são seguidos por alguns comportamentos específicos que as pessoas lutam para mudar, por causa dessa predisposição! Mas, graças à evolução da ciência, é possível mudar e existem muitos tratamentos disponíveis para melhorar!
Além da cura emocional, que é possível através de passos práticos, ajuda de pessoas preparadas e de um relacionamento mais próximo com Deus! Ainda assim, não podemos optar por ter ou não algumas dessas predisposições.
Impressões da infância!
Nossas impressões (experiências + emoções) são construídas principalmente na infância! E cria uma resposta ou comportamento automático na idade adulta!
Isso significa que, se você teve um trauma quando jovem, isso criará uma barreira na sua mente, uma resposta automática, que fará você se defender da possibilidade de sofrer esse tipo de trauma novamente. Na maioria das vezes, esse tipo de comportamento é subconsciente!
Os dois primeiros estão fora do nosso poder de controle, mas o terceiro está completamente sob nosso controle!

Ao que quer que você diga SIM, você lhe concede poder sobre a sua vida! O oposto também é verdadeiro: Ao que quer que você diga NÃO, você enfraquece a influência(dessa coisa ou pessoa) sobre a sua vida.
Toda escolha começa com uma mentalidade! Pense nisso: Se você acha que você não é digno de ser amado, isso significa que você afastará todo mundo que realmente se importa com você!
Se você acha que não é capaz de abraçar algo novo, vai fugir de tudo que não é familiar! E posso dizer que experimentei essas duas situações. No entanto, eu aprendi que é possível ser curada e mudar!
É o processo de mudar a maneira como pensamos, confrontando as mentiras em que acreditamos, mudando assim a maneira como agimos e escolhemos as coisas na vida! Não é fácil nem rápido, mas vale totalmente a pena!
A primeira coisa que você pode fazer é pedir ajuda! Peça às pessoas que se preocupam com você, para ajudá-lo a ver o que você não pode ver por si mesmo! Encontrei muita ajuda ao participar de um grupo de apoio, onde as pessoas me ouviam e me ajudavam a enxergar outra perspectiva, sobre mim ou sobre alguma situação!
O segundo passo que pode ajudá-lo a erradicar o comportamento tóxico automático é: Cercar-se de pessoas mais saudáveis que você e de um ambiente mais saudável! Afaste-se das situações e das pessoas que fazem você repetir esse ciclo de comportamentos tóxicos!
Por fim, quero encorajá-lo a se desafiar! Se desafie a experimentar coisas novas, coisas que fazem você se sentir desconfortável, mas que é bom para o seu desenvolvimento!
Pode ser um novo hobby, fazer novos amigos, aproveitar uma nova oportunidade de trabalho! Coisas que você nunca fez antes.
Encontre um novo campo para explorar e liberte-se da pressão de não cometer nenhum erro, permita-se falhar! Isso faz parte da vida e aprendemos muito com nossas falhas.
Decida hoje parar de viver no modo automático, apenas reagindo às coisas, e comece a agir intencionalmente para mudar o curso de sua vida!
