Perseverance to grow!

Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.

It’s been a while that God is speaking with me about being patient and perseverant to see the results I want in my life!

There is no greater law in the realm of the spirit or in earthly life: What a man plants, wheater is literally a seed or an intention, a plan, a dream; that is what he will crop! This law works for everyone!

It is an amazing parabole to understand how God works with us! Because His Words for us are like seeds! It needs to be planted in the soil of our hearts to make any difference in our lives. And, as any seed, it need to be watering, also it needs proper conditions to grow. Time is essential in the process!

That said, I want to point it out some things that we need to understand about this process in our lives:

A life deep rooted in Christ is like gardening!

Like I said before, it is a good analogy to realize how can we grow in understanding and partership with God! Some cares are needed, also a good amount of time so we can see good results in our lives! Remember: Perseverance is key!

We need to plant good seeds and be patient with the growing process!

Good seeds here are everything we use to feed our minds and hearts, specially the Word of God! We can choose to listen and declare good things over our future and identity, and eventually that will bring the right results. That’s why the bible says we need to renew our minds!

It is God that makes the seed grows, not us!

However, our role it is to keep the soil clean and smooth for His seeds! The soil of our hearts must to be healthy and ready to receive good seeds! That means we need to get rid of any poisoned feelings like guilt, rage, bitterness, lack of forgiveness and anything that blocks us from growing!

Surrender all the heaviness to God, repent and make your soil clean again. The partnership with God, trusting in what only He can do, it’s what makes the seeds grow! Have faith in the love of God for you.

– Every seed needs to be watered!

The Word of God says: ““Listen! Are you thirsty for more? Come to the refreshing waters and drink. Even if you have no money, come, buy, and eat. Yes, come and buy all the wine and milk you desire— it won’t cost a thing.” Jesus is the fountain of life! All the nurturing water we need for out lives are in His Presence! Spend time listening to Him! He is all the water you need to satisfy your thirst. He is the answer for the desires of our souls!

A life of good FRUITS requires persistance and patience! (And also a sound mind.)

Everything we plant, needs time to grow stronger! We need to be patient with our processes! The things you think and say about yourself or how you see others, will not change overnight. It is a constant process of renewing our minds: What we believe about ourselves, how we see the world must to be align with the perspective of God!

God is always teaching me about being patient, specially with myself! I am naturally driven by results and, sometimes, there is none to be seen! When I feel overhelmed, thinking about everything I did wrong, God leads me through a reflection about who I was two, three years ago and who I am becoming! That makes me feel encouraged! Because I remember all the fear and anger I used to carry inside and now, I am definitelly more confident in who I am! I can see the progress and the freedom that only Jesus could give to me!

I learned to be more aware of my thoughts and feelings as well! Because when we are distracted, it is easier to be drawing into a cicle of poisoned thoughts that makes us feel miserable!

Watch what you are thinking: If it brings accusation, comparison, frustration or anything that makes you feel traped, that does not comes from God. Cut it out on the spot, and choose to declare what God says about you!

Be patient with yourself and, definitely, with others! People need time to change and grow. If you keep planting and watering good seeds, the results will come! That’s is a unbreakble law of the universe God created.

-A good soil needs the right nutrients to grow the seed.

Like I said, we need to be careful about what we are feeding ourselves! Get rid of any source of discouragement, guilt, comparison you can get from the wrong fountains. Change the time you spend on social media for a good reading, prayer time, a good walk to breath fresh air; choose wisely your friends. Spend more time taking care of your body and mind, and watch the change happens!

The soil of our hearts needs to be smooth and health, fed with the right nutrients! Watch for any sign of growing weeds and dig it off! When we are alerts for bad seeds it’s easier to get free from it.

-Serving others it’s essential to bear good fruits!

So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.

Like Galatians 6 says: If we don’t give up about doing good to others, eventually we will harvest a good crop! When we take the eyes off from our situations and look to others to offer help, we learn gratitude and the value of life!

Serving others is a great way to get rid of selfishness, a self-centered life! We are created to be a body, different parts, different backgrounds and abilities combined to write a great story, building the kingdom of God! Complementing each other.

Can’t you see the central issue in all this? It is not what you and I do—submit to circumcision, reject circumcision. It is what God is doing, and he is creating something totally new, a free life! All who walk by this standard are the true Israel of God—his chosen people. Peace and mercy on them!

Finally, remember: It is not about what you can do, but what God alreday did for you! Jesus won the battle over death on the cross, so we can have life in Him!

We are sons and daughters of God through Jesus, who redeemed us all. It is not about doing, but about embrace who we are created to be!

“It’s now so obvious! We’re not the children of the slave woman; we’re the supernatural sons of the freewoman—sons of grace!

É Deus quem faz a semente crescer!

Sim, é Deus quem frutifica a semeste!

Isso me faz sentir encorajada!

Learning to trust!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6 NIV

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God,(that comes from trusting in Him) which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6‭-‬7 NIV

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Psalms 37:5‭-‬6 NIV

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Psalms 20:7 NIV

Trust is a place of REST! It’s when we learn that the best way to go through the challenges and struggles of life is in PARTNERSHIP with the Lord!

Why? Because He is our Creator, He knows us and loves us more than anyone! There is no flaws or mistakes in Him.

When we walk in friendship and trust with the Lord, we can never be disappointed! We may feel tired and discouraged sometimes, BUT He is the One who renew our STRAIGTH and gives us a stronger FAITH to keep going!

Trust in the Lord! That may feel unconfortable sometimes, but it is out of our confort zone that we live the most powerful and amazing experiences of our lives!

Have a great sunday. Rest on the Lord!

“But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation!”
(Psalms 13:5)

Aprendendo o confiar!

Confie no Senhor!

Descanse no Senhor!

” (Salmos 13: 5)

Stay connected!

I am the Real Vine and my Father is the Farmer. He cuts off every branch of me that doesn’t bear grapes. And every branch that is grape-bearing he prunes back so it will bear even more. You are already pruned back by the message I have spoken.

What it means to “bear fruit”?!

The Bible talks, mostly, about 2 kinds of fruit: The friut of the Spirit that is:  love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness and self-control. Wich are manifestations of a healthy character, treated by the Sipirit.

The other fruit can be the results of sharing the Gospel with other: Repent and salvation!

Jesus talks about the “harvest” a lot of times, like when He explains the bad and good soil for the seed of His Word (Mathew 13).

Both begins internally, by the work of the Holy Spirit! One works imediatelly by repent and recognition of Jesus as Lord and Savior. The other is a long-term process, where the Sipirit treat and build our character, through the Word of God and a close relationship with Him!

So, SALVATION =The harvest fruit. Treated character= Fruits of the Spirit.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Remain: That’s one of the biggest challenges our lives as followers of Jesus! Salvation is just the first step of a long and amazing journey. Only those who remain until the end will achieve all the PROMISES and giflts from the Lord, in this life and in the next!

Jesus said that are different soils(hearts) that receive His SEED. Only tthe good soil bears a great harvest! That means that there are a lot of people who receive the Word of God in their hearts but, during the hardship of the journey, they go astray. Why? Because it is not easy to follow Jesus! It is totally worthy, but also challenging and unconfortable, if you compare it with the life we are used to live before Christ!

Remain in the right way means that we will accept with faith all the trials, renounces and suffferings of the way with PERSEVERANCE and we will OBEY, no matter what!

Only those who grows a strong FAITH, by a constant relationship with the Father and His Word, will achieve the promised land, that God prepared for those who love Him.

Remain in Christ is to walk with the eyes of faith, not with humam eyes, looking to Him, not the circumstances. Only then you are able to obey without being stuck by fear. Like He said, “If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.” To obey you need to believe, otherwise, the directions and plans of God to your life will seems just craziness, non sense!

“I’m no longer calling you servants because servants don’t understand what their master is thinking and planning. No, I’ve named you friends because I’ve let you in on everything I’ve heard from the Father.

How amazing is to hear the voice of God to know His plans beforehand? Only close friends have this privilege! If you seek God with all your heart and soul, He will call you ‘friend’!

“You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you.”

I feel so encouraged and loved when I read this: Jesus chose me! And if you believe in Him already, that means He chose you too! Only the Holy Spirit can convince us about the truth of the Gospel ,it is impossible to believe by rational arguments!

We are called to believe with our hearts, with a deep conviction in our spirit! It is not human work! Only when we are touched by the Spirit, we can trully SURRENDER our lives to Jesus and call Him Lord!

But remember the root command: Love one another.”

The process begins with salvation, but only a constant and deep walk with Jesus make us able to love one another like He did. I mean, really love! That means that we gonna live a sacrificial lifestyle with no regrets, because Jesus put a new heart in every one of us!

I hope this reflection brings some light and encouragement to you like it did for me! That’s all friends. Stay connected to the Vine! =)

In love with this song! S2

I want you to DANCE upon the ashes!

Every place where the enemy has come against you is a place for future victory, a stage set for you to sing of my triumphant love, a launching pad into my magnificent restoration.

Every trauma can be turned into a place of exorbitant strength when you invite me into your pain.

Beloved, the enemy hates when his plans backfire. He’d rather knock you out and keep you out, but when you walk in the highest reality of my love, nothing can hold you down forever.

If you take my hand, I will lead you to the mountain peaks, where your laughter will echo into every valley that once held your dry bones. But first, we will stop and dance upon the ashes.

We will sow the seeds of resurrection life into what appears dead and desolate. Each step of love and every movement of grace will release a resurgence of hope and joy.

Though you have witnessed loss and destruction, life will come forth despite it all.” (I hear his whisper; Written by Brian Simons and Gretchen Rodriguez)

############################

(I hear his whisper; Escrito por Brian Simons e Gretchen Rodriguez)

More than conquerors!

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh,[b] God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering.[c] And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:1-4

This powerful statement, written by apostle Paul, echoes until these days and is still valid to reach our lives, here and now!

No matter what you had done, or what you are dealing right now, at the moment you surrender your life and your whole reality to Jesus, He is powerful and merciful enough to forgive you and cleanse you from all, past, present and future!

For many of us, this is “obvious reality”, but for a lot of people suffering out there, they need to know this one SIMPLE TRUTH: Someone who loves you more than anyone could, created you to live a plentiful life, has already paid your bill, so you don’t have to carry any debt or burden in this life!

I don’t know what you are suffering right now, but as we all know, the world in general are facing death, fear, starvation, solitute and depression because of this pandemic scenario!

However, there is HOPE for those willing to accept it! You don’t need to face any trial alone, felling like you don’t have any option but quit! You don’t need to be defeated, cause Jesus, the God who became flesh and walked among us, already conquered the victory for each one of us! 👑

Our role is this whole amazing story is to SURRENDER!

Surrender our identity, our struggles, plans and future to the One who knows us best than anyone, so He can rewrite our story with lines of love and healing, putting meaning and a great joy in our days and a new hope for the future!

You don’t need to be defeated by your burdens and human limitations, let your oldest brother and friend do it for you!

Each one of us are invited to be part of God’s family, that is why He sent His own Son to die for us, so we can have limitless FREEDOM and a new life!

Father, I pray for everyone reading it, that they may surrender their lives to your abounding love, giving to you everything they are and all they are carrying right now! Cleanse each one of them from the heaviness of past mistakes, fear, guilt and depression. Give them a new perspective and a fresh start, in Jesus name.Amen.

” What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

For your sake we face death all day long, we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[j]

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

Romans 8:31-37

The art of living SATISFIED!

“I’m energized every time I enter your heavenly sanctuary to seek more of your power and drink in more of your glory. For your tender mercies mean more to me than life itself. How I love and praise you, God! Daily I will worship you passionately and with all my heart. My arms will wave to you like banners of praise. I overflow with praise when I come before you, for the anointing of your presence satisfies me like nothing else. You are such a rich banquet of pleasure to my soul.
Psalms 63:2‭-‬5 TPT

Living at God’s Presence is a learning process and also an art!

When we drink from His fountain and eat from His hearty feast, we are feeding our spirit and soul, learning how to stand in hardship and to be SATISFIED in any situation!

Only when we spend time in Jesus Presence, hearing from Him, we are able to look to people and situations that surrounds us, with the RIGHT PERSPECTIVE!

It’s a daily process, when we leave everything aside, just to be silent at His Presence or to open our mouths to PRAISE Him!

That is how we learn to live confident, knowing that He is our source of joy and STRENGTH.

Psalm 127 says that God enjoys to give REST FOR THOSE HE LOVES! (Also, that all our efforts are useless if God is not working for and with us!)

If we are His sons and daughters, we can (and must) live by His Word, that says we can surrender all our worries and difficulties to Him and He will helps us! (Mathew 11:28)

A light day, a peaceful night of sleep, away from any trouble, are gifts that God delights in give to us, His childrem!

So let’s enjoy our days, being grateful and satisfied, knowing the One who takes care of us never sleeps or get tired!

Quero contemplar-te no santuário e avistar o teu poder e a tua glória.

“My choice”

Reposting this poem cause it´s really good! Enjoy it.

(This is the essence of life we chose =´)

“My Choice”

I want my breakfast served at eight,
With ham and eggs upon the plate;
A well-broiled steak I’ll eat at one,
And dine again when day is done.

I want an ultra modern home,
And in each room a telephone;
Soft carpets, too, upon the floors,
And pretty drapes to grace the doors.
A cozy place of lovely things,
Like easy chairs with innersprings,
And then I’ll get a small TV-
Of course, “I’m careful what I see.”

I want my wardrobe, too, to be
Of neatest, finest quality,
With latest style in suit and vest.
Why shouldn’t Christians have the best?

But then the Master I can hear,
In no uncertain voice, so clear,
“I bid you come and follow me,
The Lowly Man of Galilee.”

“Birds of the air have made their nest,
And foxes in their holes find rest;
But I offer you no bed;
No place have I to lay my head.”

In shame I hung my head and cried,
How could I spurn the Crucified?
Could I forget the way He went,
The sleepless nights in prayer He spent?

For forty days without a bite,
Alone He fasted day and night;
Despised, rejected-on He went,
And did not stop till veil He rent.

A man of sorrows and of grief,
No earthly friend to bring relief-
“Smitten of God,” the prophet said-
Mocked, beaten, bruised,

His blood ran red,
If He be God and died for me,
No sacrifice too great can be
For me, a mortal man, to make;
I’ll do it all for Jesus’ sake.

Yes, I will tread the path He trod,
No other way will please my God;
So, henceforth, this my choice shall be,
My choice for all eternity.
