Hey friend! How are you doing today? I hope you are having a good sunday.
Yesterday was a special day! I don’t know if you are aware of this event, but yesterday was the gathering of The Send in Kansas City and it was amazing! I mean, I was not there, I was watching online with some friends, but it was powerful!
This movement, if you don’t know about it, it is a movement of prayer and evangelism that was born in the hearts of several leaders of different countries/movements and the goal is to activate every Christian to go to the fields and preach the Good News of Christ, with passion and authority! It is so powerful, I have to admit that my heart burns for this goal and I was very glad to join in the Send 2020, that happend here in Brazil!
However, my purpose with this post it is not to talk about The Send ,specifically, but to share the need that we Christians have for community! I mean, the whole message is very powerful and necessary, but yesterday during the event, Francis Chan said something really important: It is not only about being send to the fields, but to have a life grounded in God, through a life that involves community(fellowship with the local church) and submision to the Word of God!
It is very easy to embrace this idea of “Let’s start a revolution. Let’s change the world!” but it is very easy to miss the point when you are moving in your own desires and strength! We can easily say: Yes, let’s go, let’s do it! But it is very tricky when we are moving on the wrong perspective!
It is not easy to be patient and understand that we need to take one step at the time! I remember when I was in this DTS school, I experienced a lot of miracles and new things with God and was amazing! But after I came back home, I felt frustrated for a while, because it is hard to slow down and come back to a “normal daily life”. Sometimes, we go back to our local church and we want to change everything, we struggle to connnect with people and the culture of our church.
However, what I’ve learned these past few years is that God is patient and He wants us to be patient with us and the whole process we are being submited!
He wants to be our Lord, partner and guide in everything we do, but it takes time for us to understand that, a life grounded in God’s Word takes time to show the results we want so bad to see!
There is a proper time to everything: To grow roots, to become more mature in our spiritual walk with God, to fruitify! Only on the other side of the “line” the results we expected to see will show up, but we need to be patient!
What I want to share here is that, if you have a passion for the Gospel, with you want to go to the nations, to be a leader or maybe a businnes man or woman to contribute for God’s kingdom and glory, that dream need to be sow, watered, daily cared for and it will grow, but it takes time!
Second, we are not called to walk alone or in our own strength! I have to say that I struggle with this sense of community for a long time! Even for years after I gave my life to Christ, I struggled to connect with others Christians, to let people be part of my life!
Part of the reason was because I was hurted by people and I needed to be healed first! But also because, I had this individualistic sense deep inside, that made me believe for a while I didn’t need people to accomplish my dreams and goals!
That is a big mistake. We can’t accomplish anything great without help, without a good leadership in our lives! First, we have to submit to God’s ways and timing for us, and that part can be very tough and frustrating! If you are a stubborn kind of person like me, you know what I mean!
I suffered a lot before I realized that, I din’t have all the answers or the autonomy I’d like and I needed to submit to God and to the people He put in my life!
So, if you struggle with this kind of rebellious feeling, I encourage you to surrender it to God quickly, so you don’t have to suffer like I did! Submit your mindset, your feelings and beliefs to Him and watch Him change you from the inside out! It is not a easy choice but is totally worth it!
Don’t let your past and traumas isolate you from the body of Christ! We need to walk together in submission and partnership. Like God healed and helped me to see things in a diffrent perspective, I believe He wants to do the same thing for you. You just need to open the door and let Him in!
Yesterday, while I was watching to the Send, I realize how amazing was the work of God in my own life. For a long time, I felt so disconnected from people, so alone in my struggles and, yesterday I was surrounded by good friends!
Friends that God gave me during my walk with my local church, and that makes all the difference in my life! It is so powerful and encouraging to have people we trust and can share our burdens, pray with, laugh together. I am really grateful to Jesus for this gift in my life!
I know that some day my season will change again, that He will send me in a different direction, but till them, I will enjoy the opportunity He gave to be part of His body here and now. I know that I am learning new lessons in every season, with the challenges, opportunities and people He puts in my life!
So don’t feel discouraged, don’t give up! If your dreams are not fulfilled yet, if you are feeling frustrated or isolated, just remember that God is with you, helping you in every battle and every season of your life and, eventually, it will change! New people and opportunities will arrive in your life and you will be ready to receive it!
Just remember that we are all being shaped, challenged, purified by the fires of adversities, but it is not the end! It is just a process and we will succeed, in Jesus name!

“Today is a day for reflection: we think back on the finished work of the cross and what it means for our lives.
How grateful are we for hindsight! We know that the cross is not the end. Resurrection gets the final word.
But put yourselves in the shoes of Jesus’ disciples.
Imagine leaving everything to follow Jesus.
Imagine seeing countless miracles: the blind see, the deaf hear, and the mute speak.
Imagine watching Jesus ride into Jerusalem on a donkey to thunderous applause. Palm branches are laid before him, as the people cheer, “Hosanna!”
If you were one of his disciples, you would have probably thought this was the moment Jesus would restore the kingdom!
Imagine their horror as they watched Jesus get betrayed, arrested, taken through a mockery of a trial, and humiliated while executed on a wooden cross—like a criminal.
Imagine their dejection and disorientation.
Similarly, we often go through seasons where it feels like God has let us down. We find ourselves shrouded in darkness and despair, wrestling with shattered hopes.
During those long days and nights between the cross and resurrection, we can’t imagine the agonizing confusion Jesus’ disciples endured. If anyone had a reason for a faith crisis, they did!
If you find yourself in a season where you are struggling to hold onto faith, barely clinging to the words God has spoken to you, Good Friday is a reminder that you are not alone.
Whatever present darkness you are walking through, take heart. Your story is not yet finished.
As you struggle forward in the faith, like the great cloud of witnesses who have gone before you, be filled with hope that resurrection is coming!”(by Messengers- John and Lisa Bevere)

“Venham a mim, todos os que estão cansados e sobrecarregados, e eu lhes darei alívio”
“Hoje é um dia de reflexão: pensamos na obra consumada da cruz e no que isso significa para nossas vidas.
Como somos gratos pela retrospectiva! Sabemos que a cruz não é o fim. A ressurreição tem a palavra final.
Mas coloque-se no lugar dos discípulos de Jesus. Imagine deixar tudo para seguir Jesus.
Imagine ver inúmeros milagres: os cegos veem, os surdos ouvem e os mudos falam.
Imagine ver Jesus entrar em Jerusalém montado em um jumento sob aplausos estrondosos. Ramos de palmeiras são colocados diante dele, enquanto o povo aplaude, “Hosana!”
Se você fosse um de seus discípulos, provavelmente pensaria que este era o momento em que Jesus restauraria o reino!
Imagine o horror deles ao verem Jesus ser traído, preso, levado a uma zombaria de um julgamento e humilhado enquanto executado em uma cruz de madeira – como um criminoso.
Imagine seu desânimo e desorientação.
Da mesma forma, muitas vezes passamos por épocas em que parece que Deus nos decepcionou. Encontramo-nos envoltos em escuridão e desespero, lutando com esperanças despedaçadas.
Durante aqueles longos dias e noites entre a cruz e a ressurreição, não podemos imaginar a agonizante confusão que os discípulos de Jesus sofreram. Se alguém tinha uma razão para uma crise de fé, eles tinham!
Se você se encontra em uma época em que está lutando para manter a fé, mal se apegando às palavras que Deus falou com você, a Sexta-feira Santa é um lembrete de que você não está sozinho.
Seja qual for a escuridão atual pela qual você esteja caminhando, tenha coragem. Sua história ainda não terminou.

I love psalm 127!
I love how it goes through our biggest concerns: It talks about family, work hard, security, time and how we should see our children: An inheritance from God!
Lately, God began to driven my attention to this important matter: Children! And how my daughter is an indispensable and importantl part of God’s plan in every area of my life!
Sometimes, we are so overhelmed by routine and work and bills to pay that we don’t realize that we are living on automatic pilot!
I thought, in my foolish naivy, that I had everything under control(haha). But recently, God got my attention to remember that we are a team! He wants to work in and with me, and most important, that I am definitely not in control!
I try hard to teach my daughter the Word of God. I tell her how important is to pray, we pray and read the bible together and I always remember her that it is not about religion, that she needs to develop a real and close relationship with God!
However, I forgot that, like me and everybody else, even the most firm and experienced Christian, she will have battles to fight against doubts and lies. She will face highs and lows in her faith walk!
That is why you and I, need to remember, specially if you are a parent, that we need God’s help! We need to be firmly rooted in his Word, so we can face the stormy seasons of our lives!
Like the psalm says:
“If God’s grace doesn’t help the builders, they will labor in vain to build a house. If God’s mercy doesn’t protect the city, all the sentries will circle it in vain.“
That means if God it is not the center of my life and family, I am fighting in vain to do the right thing! I need to put my life and trust on Him, steping back and leting Him lead me through the battles and decisions, all the way to the finish line!
Sometimes I forget that He is always taking care of me and those I love. God is there when I am sleeping. His Presence is there, where my eyes and arms can’t reach! He was there even when I was trying to run away of His Presence and plans for me!
He never lost control!
Family is God’s plan for humanity! It is a GIFT from Him, to teach us how to relate in a healthy way, how to give ourselves to the benefit of others and how to build a legacy align with His plans, that will last for generations!
He designed it in and for us, to show us how we put LOVE in practice, always in partenership with Him. It’s how we going to reveal his love and character to the world! It is a deep mistery, a reflection from the spiritual realm from above, that we are called to live here on earth, first!
It is hard to be a parent right? Even more a single mom! However, God always reminds me of His Grace and active Presence in my life! He is with me on this daily battle to sow his Word and truth in the heart of my daughter and keep that in mine, no matter how the situation looks like!
Our children are our legacy! It is through them that a godly model of family and daily relationship will pass through the generations! That’s why it is so hard sometimes, to put the Word of God in practie, denying ourselves and trust him to do what we can’t!
The world out there is fighting hard against it! They want to take control of our children minds and identity! They are taking all the fronts possible to dictate what it’s true and what it’s acceptable! This is war, my friend!
If we don’t put our trust in God alone and let Him lead our family and future, we are hopeless! There is no way we can fight this battle in our own strength!
I don’t know what area of your life you are fighting for, maybe it is like me, for the faith of your children, maybe it is for your marriage or relatives, but remember: God is the One watching for the safety of the city! Outside of Him, we are working hard for nothing!
We need to surrender all the control to him! Let all our worries and plans at His hands and He will lead us through the right way!
Perseverance is key! Remember: One step at the time! We can’t win the whole war in one day with just one move. We are called to fight one battle at the time, leaning on God’s strength, not in our own ability!
Our family is our number one priority, our legacy! Its a well designed weapon against this fallen culture, that despises God and His Word! Don’t let anyone or anything tell you the opposite. There is no carrier or ministry or personal plans that can replace the importante and the beauty of family in our lives!
Take care of those you love as a priority! And remember that you don’t have to do it alone! God is right there, ready to help you and walk by you through the struggles of life!
We are called to sow good seeds in the heart of our children,spouses and loved ones! Watering it daily and trusting God to do the growth! When we work in partnership with Jesus, time is working for us, not against us!
We can rest on God’s promises for us and our family! Never forget that we are part of his plans, since the beginning of times!
He will fight for us and with us!
“If God doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves? Don’t you see that children are God’s best gift? the fruit of the womb his generous legacy? Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Uma arma bem desenhada!
“Os filhos são herança do Senhor, uma recompensa que ele dá. 4 Como flechas nas mãos do guerreiro são os filhos nascidos na juventude. 5 Como é feliz o homem que tem a sua aljava cheia deles! Não será humilhado quando enfrentar seus inimigos no tribunal.“
Eu amo o salmo 127!
Eu amo como ele passa por nossas maiores preocupações: Fala sobre família, trabalho duro, segurança, tempo, descanso e como devemos ver nossos filhos: Uma herança de Deus e uma arma nas batalhas espirituais e diárias!
Ultimamente, Deus começou a chamar minha atenção para este assunto importante: Filhos! E como minha filha é uma parte importante e indispensável nos plano de Deus em todas as áreas da minha vida!
Às vezes, ficamos tão sobrecarregados com a rotina, o trabalho e as contas pra pagar que não percebemos que estamos vivendo no piloto automático!
Eu achei , na minha tola ingenuidade, que tinha tudo sob controle (haha), mas recentemente, Deus me lembrou de que somos uma equipe, que Ele quer trabalhar comigo e em mim. E, o mais importante, que definitivamente eu não estou no controle!
Eu me esforço muito para ensinar pra minha filha a Palavra de Deus. Eu digo a ela o quão importante é orar, oramos e lemos a bíblia juntas e sempre a lembro que não é sobre religião, que ela precisa desenvolver uma relação real e pessoal com Deus!
No entanto, eu me esqueci que, como eu e todo mundo, mesmo o cristão mais firme e experiente, ela terá batalhas para lutar contra as dúvidas e mentiras que tentam plantar na vida dela. Ela enfrentará altos e baixos em sua caminhada de fé!
É por isso que você e eu precisamos nos lembrar, especialmente como pais, que precisamos continuamente da ajuda de Deus! Precisamos estar firmemente enraizados em sua Palavra, para que possamos enfrentar as temporadas desafiadoras da vida!
Como diz o salmista:
“Se a graça de Deus não ajudar os construtores, eles trabalharão em vão para construir uma casa. Se a misericórdia de Deus não protege a cidade, todas as sentinelas o circundarão em vão. “
Isso significa que se Deus não é o centro da minha vida e da minha família, estou lutando em vão para fazer a coisa certa! Preciso colocar minha vida e confiança Nele, dando um passo para trás e deixando que Ele me lidere através das batalhas e decisões, até a linha de chegada!
Às vezes, eu me esqueço que Ele está sempre cuidando de mim e daqueles que eu amo. Deus está lá quando estou dormindo. Sua Presença está lá, onde meus olhos e braços não alcançam! Ele estava lá mesmo quando eu estava tentando fugir de Sua Presença e planos para mim!
Ele nunca perdeu o controle!
Família é um plano de Deus para a humanidade! É um DOM Dele, para nos ensinar como nos relacionarmos de forma saudável, como nos doarmos em benefício dos outros e como construir um legado alinhado aos Seus princípios, que durará por gerações!
Ele a projetou em e para nós, para nos mostrar como colocamos o AMOR em prática, sempre em parceria com ele. É assim que vamos revelar seu amor e caráter para o mundo! É um mistério profundo, um reflexo do reino espiritual de cima, que somos chamados a viver aqui na Terra, primeiro!
É difícil ser pai/mãe não é? Ainda mais mãe solteira! Porém, Deus sempre me lembra de Sua Graça e Presença protetora na minha vida! Ele está comigo nesta batalha diária para semear sua Palavra e verdade no coração da minha filha e mantê-la sempre no meu, não importa quão difícil a situação se pareça!
Nossos filhos são nosso legado! É através deles que um modelo bíblico de família e relacionamento diário passará através das gerações! É por isso que, às vezes, é tão difícil colocar a Palavra de Deus em prática, negar a nós mesmos e confiar que Ele fará o que não podemos! Nós enfrentaremos resistência.
O mundo lá fora está lutando arduamente contra isso! Eles querem assumir o controle da identidade e da mente de nossos filhos! Eles estão tomando todas as frentes possíveis para ditar o que é verdade e o que é aceitável! Isso é guerra, meu amigo!
Se não colocarmos nossa confiança somente em Deus e deixarmos Ele liderar nossa família e nosso futuro, não teremos nenhuma esperança! Não há como travarmos essa batalha com nossas próprias forças!
Não sei por qual área da sua vida você está lutando, talvez seja como eu, pela fé dos seus filhos, talvez seja pelo seu casamento ou por seus parentes, mas lembre-se: “Deus é quem zela pela segurança da cidade!” Fora dele, estamos trabalhando duro para nada!
Precisamos entregar todo o controle a Ele! Deixar todas as nossas preocupações e planos em Suas mãos e confiar que Ele nos guiará no caminho certo!

Isn’t amazing how some (great)songs can carry us through memories and feelings?! I don’t know about you but, I need a good playlist to go through my day! Music is like fuel for me, it really energizes me and change the atmosphere of my day, everytime!
That’s why I decided to talk about sometging that may look so obvious, yet so underrated: The extravagant love of God for us!
I know, you probably heard before about how much God loves you, right?! However, I want to encourage you not to absorb it with your mind, because if you are a Christian, you already know that!
We all know John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him!”
To be honest, even that I have always believed in the truth of the Cross, I found out years later that I spent my whole childhood believing that with my mind, not with my heart!
The love of God ins’t something we can be taught to believe. To be a reality in our lives, deep rooted in our heart, we need to experience it by ourselves! We need to feel the love of God in our bones, burning deep inside of us!
So today, I decided to write about it, so you can bring to your mind your own experiences with Him! Even knowing that the highest demonstration of love was made on the cross for us, it’s more real when it became personal, when we can perceive it in our own lives, in great things and also in the ordinary things!
While I was listened to this song about the love of God, I began to remember episodes of my life when His love became trully real for me! For example: When I was in Nepal with a bunch of people I din’t know, feeling an outsider, being attacked in my mind with all kind of lies, the love of God comforted me and carried me through! I never thought I’d survive until the end of that experience, but I did! He was there with me, all the time!
When I went through the darkest seasons of my life, Jesus was always there, remembering me that I was strong enough to finish the challenge, that I was more capable that I could realize in that moment! He was carrying me on His arms when I was to tired to walk on my own!
Every time people tried to “take me out of the scene” or harm me, He was there to guarantee that I would go through the whole proccess, that I would not give up because of the pressure people were putting over me!
When I feel lonely, isolated, weak and overhelmed, I bring to my mind that I am not alone at all! He is right here by my side, drying all my tears and cheering me up, making me laugh and have hope in the future!
When fear of the future wants to take place or when I am too afraid to take risks, He strengthen me with His sweet Presence, giving me words of love!
He is giving me new memories and restoring all the places from shame in my life.
Only His love can do that!
No one can teach your heart that you are loved by God, only Him! You need to dive in, you need to drink from it untill you feel overflowing with His Presence! It is a unique and personal experience between you and your Father!
I want to inspire you to go through this amazing experience with Him! If you never experienced the love of God in a conscious way, talk to Him! You can be really honest about it!
Pray that God will break the barrers inside your heart, open your spiritual eyes so you can see and realize how much He loves you! Not in a theorical and abstract way, He loves you in practical and meaninful ways, every day!
Every time He delivers you from a tough situation(Or helps you to go through it!), when He gives you peace in the middle of chaos; When you are feeling down and He embraces you and give you comfort, making you feel worthy of love, making you strong in who you really are through His eyes!
He is the One who brings to our minds the plans He has for us: Plans to give us hope and the future we long for!
So today, my friend, I just pray that “you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
I believe that God will teach you that, in a beautiful, practical and soft way! So your heart can be heal from all the pain you may be carrying inside!

O extravagante amor de Deus!
Olá querido leitor! Como você está? Espero que bem!
Não é incrível como certas músicas podem nos transportar para memórias e sentimentos?! Eu não sei você, mas eu preciso de uma boa playlist para passar o meu dia bem! A música é como um combustível para mim, ela realmente me energiza e muda a atmosfera do meu dia, todas as vezes!
É por isso que hoje eu decidi falar sobre algo que pode parecer tão óbvio, mas ao mesmo tempo, tão subestimado: O extravagante amor de Deus por nós!
Eu sei, você provavelmente já ouviu falar sobre o quanto Deus o ama, certo?! No entanto, quero encorajá-lo a não absorver isso com sua mente, porque se você é cristão, você já sabe disso!
Todos nós(ou a maioria de nós) conhecemos João 3: 16-17 “ “Porque Deus tanto amou o mundo que deu o seu Filho Unigênito[d], para que todo o que nele crer não pereça, mas tenha a vida eterna. 17 Pois Deus enviou o seu Filho ao mundo, não para condenar o mundo, mas para que este fosse salvo por meio dele.”
Para ser honesta, eu sempre acreditei na verdade da Cruz, mas eu descobri anos depois que passei minha infância inteira acreditando nisso com minha mente, não com meu coração!
O amor de Deus não é algo que possamos ensinar as pessoas a acreditar. Para ser uma realidade em sua vida, profundamente enraizada em seu coração, você precisa experimentá-lo! Você precisa sentir o amor de Deus em seus ossos, queimando bem no fundo.
Então hoje, eu decidi escrever sobre isso, para que você possa trazer à sua mente suas próprias experiências com Ele! Mesmo sabendo que a mais alta demonstração de amor foi feita por nós na cruz, ela é ainda mais real quando se torna pessoal, quando podemos perceber esse amor em nossas próprias vidas, nas coisas extraordinárias e também nas coisas comuns!
Enquanto eu ouvia essa música sobre o amor de Deus, comecei a me lembrar de episódios da minha vida em que Seu amor se tornou verdadeiramente real por mim!
Por exemplo: Quando eu estava no Nepal com um monte de gente que eu não conhecia, me sentindo um peixe fora d’água, sendo atacada na minha mente com todo tipo de mentira, o amor de Deus me confortou e me carregou! Nunca pensei que sobreviveria até o fim dessa experiência, mas eu sobrevivi! Ele estava lá comigo, o tempo todo!
Quando eu passei pelas épocas mais sombrias da minha vida, Jesus esteve sempre lá, lembrando-me que eu era forte o suficiente para terminar o desafio, que eu era mais capaz do que podia perceber naquele momento! E Ele me carregou nos braços quando eu estava cansada demais pra andar sozinha!
Cada vez que as pessoas tentavam “me tirar de cena” ou me machucar, Ele estava lá para garantir que eu passaria por todo o processo, que eu não desistira por causa da pressão que as pessoas estavam colocando sobre mim!
Quando me sinto solitária, isolada, fraca ou sobrecarregada, eu lembro que não estou sozinha em nenhum momento! Ele está bem aqui ao meu lado, enxugando todas as minhas lágrimas e me animando, me fazendo rir e me dando esperanças pro futuro!
Quando o medo do futuro quer me dominar ou quando estou me sentindo intimidada, com medo de correr riscos, Ele me fortalece com Sua doce Presença, enchendo-me palavras de amor! Ele está me dando novas memórias e restaurando todos os lugares de vergonha da minha vida! Somente o Seu amor pode fazer isso!
Ninguém pode ensinar seu coração a verdade de que você é amado, somente Ele! Você precisa mergulhar fundo, você precisa beber Dele até se sentir transbordando com a Sua Presença! É uma experiência única e pessoal entre você e seu Pai!
Então hoje, eu quero te inspirar a mergulhar nessa experiência transformadora com Ele! Se você nunca experimentou o amor de Deus de forma consciente, converse com Ele sobre isso, sem medo! Você pode (e deve)ser muito honesto sobre isso!
Ore para que Deus quebre as barreiras do seu coração e abra seus olhos espirituais para que você possa sentir e perceber o quanto Ele te ama! Não de uma forma teórica e abstrata, Ele te ama de maneira prática e significativa, todos os dias!
Cada vez que Ele o livra de uma situação difícil,(ou te fortalece pra passar por ela!); quando Ele te dá paz em meio do caos; Quando você está se sentindo pra baixo e Ele te abraça e te consola, fazendo você se sentir digno de amor, forte em quem você é através dos olhos Dele!
Ele é quem traz à nossa mente os planos que tem para nós: planos de nos dar esperança e o futuro que almejamos!
Então, hoje, meu amigo, eu apenas oro por você, para que “com as suas gloriosas riquezas, ele os fortaleça no íntimo do seu ser com poder, por meio do seu Espírito,para que Cristo habite no coração de vocês mediante a fé; e oro para que, estando arraigados e alicerçados em amor,vocês possam, juntamente com todos os santos, compreender a largura, o comprimento, a altura e a profundidade,e conhecer o amor de Cristo que excede todo conhecimento, para que vocês sejam cheios de toda a plenitude de Deus!”
Eu acredito que Deus vai te ensinar isso, de uma forma linda, prática e suave! Assim, seu coração será curado de toda a dor que você pode estar carregando por dentro!

Every time you cross my mind, I smile and break out in exclamations of thanks to God! Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer. I find myself praying for you with a glad heart. I am so pleased that you have continued on this, believing and proclaiming God’s Message, from the day you heard it right up to the present. There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish, on the very day Christ Jesus appears. It’s not at all fanciful for me to think this way about you. My prayers and hopes have deep roots in reality.
All along, you have experienced, just like me, the most generous help from God. He knows how much I love and miss you these days. Sometimes I think I feel as strongly about you as Christ does!
So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much, but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover’s life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.
If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you care—then do yourself a favor: Agree with others, love people, be a deep-spirited friend. Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourself long enough to lend a helping hand.
Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night(…)
The real believers are the ones the Spirit of God leads to work away at this ministry, filling the air with Christ’s praise as we do it. We couldn’t carry this off by our own efforts, and we know it—even though we can list what many might think are impressive credentials.
So let’s keep focused on that goal, because we want everything God has for us. If you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet! Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it. Keep track of those you see running this same course, headed for this same goal.
There are many out there taking other paths, choosing other goals, and trying to get you to go along with them. All they want is easy street. They hate Christ’s Cross. But easy street is a dead-end street. Those who live there make their bellies their gods; belches are their praise; all they can think of is their appetites.
But there’s far more to life for us. We, my dear friend, are citizens of high heaven! We’re waiting the arrival of the Savior, the Master, Jesus Christ, who will transform our earthy bodies into glorious bodies like his own. He’ll make us beautiful and whole with the same powerful skill by which he is putting everything as it should be, under and around him.
I want you to remember to celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can, to all you meet, that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns! Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
Summing it all up, I’d like to say to you: Do your best, by filling your mind and meditating on what is true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you’ve learned, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies!
I am looking forward to see for myself, His amazing work in and through you! You are always on my mind and heart, and I hope to see you again, very soon!“

This message of hope it’s to remind you that, no matter what you are going through or how bad can seems the scenario, God is still in control!
He sees you. He sees us in the middle of our pain and chaos!
Cry out to Him and He’ll come through for you. His mercy and forgiveness is always available to us! We don’t need to sink in despair.
We have a Father watching over us, day and night, ready to save!

In times of trouble or in times of thanksgiving, we are encouraged to pray and praise the Lord! So today, I just want to share a prayer from Ephesians 1, to encourage you with the Word of God, and to remind you that we, those who believe in the son of God, are “predestined for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. ”
"I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. Declare a Palavra de Deus sobre você! Declare essas palavras sobre sua família, sua situação, sobre qualquer desânimo que possa estar sentido ultimamente! A Palavra de Deus é poderosa para renovar nossas mentes e encher nossos corações com uma esperança renovada!

Hey you! How are you doing?
I don’t know if you are aware of all that is happening right now in Afghanistan, but I follow for a while the history and struggles of the persecuted church. Since Afghanistan is the second country on “World Watch List” in persecution, I decided to post here today, just to encourage every Christian to pray for their brothers and sister in that country!
We know, because the Word of God warns us, that this kind of catastrophe would happen. Even though, it’s heart breaken to know that people are dying out there, in the hands of Taliban!
Pray for the persecuted church!(You can also help them, here!). Remember that, Jesus told us it would happen. We need to be awaken, vigilant!
Even if you don’t live this reality or don’t know anyone there, that should be a warning, a reminder that we have brothers and sisters all around the world, suffering because of the Gospel! Pray for them and also, pray for those who you love that are not saved yet!
We are living the “birth pains”! It is time to wake up amd align our lives with the plans of God for us. Surrender everything to Him and let it go with all the fear, distractions and things that keep you away from Him!
Everytime something like that happens, like we are seeing in Afghanistam, we know that we are one step closer to the return of Jesus! Don’t waste more time with things that are not eternal, things that can’t heal your soul or give you hope!
Jesus is the (only) way, the truth and the life! He is always willing to receive you, with open arms! No matter what you did , what you carry inside or what you think you are. He can make all the things new and heal you, from inside out.
Take this step today! Give your entire life to Jesus!
“Nations will go to war against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms. And there will be terrible earthquakes, horrible epidemics, and famines in place after place. 8 This is how the birth pains of the new age will begin!”9 “You can expect to be persecuted, even killed; for you will be hated by all the nations because of your love for me.( Mathew 34:7-9)

Ei amigo! Como você está?
Não sei se você está ciente de tudo o que está acontecendo no Afeganistão, mas eu já sigo há algum tempo a trajetória do igreja perseguida e, como o Afeganistão é o segundo país na lista mundial de perseguições, decidi postar hoje apenas para encorajar todos os cristãos a orar para seus irmãos e irmãs naquele país!
Nós sabemos, porque a Palavra de Deus nos avisa, que esse tipo de catástrofe aconteceria, mesmo que seja de partir o coração saber que pessoas estão morrendo lá, no mãos do Talibã!
Ore pela igreja perseguida! Lembre-se de que Jesus nos disse que isso aconteceria, e precisamos estar alertas e vigilantes!
Mesmo que você não viva essa realidade ou não conheça ninguém lá, isso deve servir de aviso, um lembrete de que temos irmãos e irmãs em todo o mundo, sofrendo por causa do Evangelho! Ore por eles e também, ore por aqueles que você ama que ainda não foram salvos!
Estamos vivendo as “dores do parto”! É hora de acordar e alinhar nossas vidas com os planos de Deus para nós. Entregue tudo a Ele e deixe ir todo o medo, distrações e coisas que o mantêm longe Dele!
Sempre que algo assim acontece, como estamos vendo no Afeganistão, sabemos que estamos um passo mais perto do retorno de Jesus! Não perca mais tempo com coisas que não são eternas, coisas que não podem salvar sua alma ou lhe dar esperança!
Jesus é o (único) caminho, a verdade e a vida! Ele está sempre disposto a recebê-lo de braços abertos! Não importa o que você fez, o que carrega dentro de você ou o que você pensa que é. Ele pode fazer todas as coisas novas e curar você de dentro para fora.
Tome essa decisão hoje,
“Nação se levantará contra nação, e reino contra reino. Haverá fomes e terremotos em vários lugares. 8 Tudo isso será o início das dores. “Então eles os entregarão para serem perseguidos e condenados à morte, e vocês serão odiados por todas as nações por minha causa. 10 Naquele tempo muitos ficarão escandalizados, trairão e odiarão uns aos outros, 11 e numerosos falsos profetas surgirão e enganarão a muitos. 12 Devido ao aumento da maldade, o amor de muitos esfriará, 13 mas aquele que perseverar até o fim será salvo. ” (Mateus 24:7-13)
!Respondeu Jesus: “Digo-lhes a verdade: Ninguém que tenha deixado casa, irmãos, irmãs, mãe, pai, filhos, ou campos, por causa de mim e do evangelho, 30 deixará de receber cem vezes mais, já no tempo presente, casas, irmãos, irmãs, mães, filhos e campos, e com eles perseguição; e, na era futura, a vida eterna. 31 Contudo, muitos primeiros serão últimos, e os últimos serão primeiros”. (Marcos 10:29-31)
Hello dear reader! How are you doing? I hope you are doing great =)
After reading 1 John, I decided to make a “map” or a guide if you’d prefer, provided by the Word, to help us, Christians, to recognize the real teaching of the Gospel, based on the principles of the Scripture.
I decided to do it because, I have seen a lot of misleading information posted by “Christians” on social media. Also because I, like every other Christian, need to discern the lie from the truth. We always need to be alert!
However, to do that, we need to spend an intentional time reading our bible. If we don’t know the Word of God, how we going to recognize false teachings and teachers?! If we are not grounded in the Word , it is so easy to buy a cheap gospel.
I found in I John some guide lines that will help us out, when we read or heard things that looks like the truth, but it is not.
Watch out, because there are a lot of false teachers out there!
John starts his letter alerting the church about the spirit of the antichrist, wich is, and it was in that time, in the midle of God’s people, not only outside!
We may think that the antichrist relates just with “the world” but, actually, he acts slyly amd mostly, inside of the church:
“Dear children, the end of this age is near! You have heard that Antichrist is arising, and in fact, many enemies of Christ have already appeared, and this is how we know that we are living in the closing hour of this age. 19 For even though they were once a part of us, they withdrew from us because they were never really of our number. For if they had truly belonged to us they would have continued with us. By leaving our community of believers they made it obvious that they never really belonged to us.”(I John 2:18-19)
1.The spirit of the antichrist denies the basic truth of the Gospel: That Jesus is the son of God, who came in flesh and blood, died and ressurected to the glory of the Father, to reconciliate us with Him, restoring the original plan.
“Who is the real liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ. He is the real antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.23 Whoever rejects the Son rejects the Father. Whoever embraces the Son embraces the Father also. (1 John 2:22-23)
“Here’s the test for those with the genuine Spirit of God: they will confess Jesus as the Christ who has come in the flesh.3 Everyone who does not acknowledge that Jesus is from God has the spirit of antichrist, which you heard was coming and is already active in the world.” (I John 4:1-3)
2. Spreads false teaching: The spirit of the antichrist uses the Word of God against it’s real purpose. Principles are erased and the truth are infected, to defend some practices or point of view that goes against God. It does not involves repent and life changing!
“Delightfully loved friends, don’t trust every spirit, but carefully examine what they say to determine if they are of God, because many false prophets have mingled into the world.(..) They belong to this world and they articulate the spirit of this world, and the world listens to them. 6 But we belong to God, and whoever truly knows God listens to us. Those who refuse to listen to us do not belong to God. That is how we can know the difference between the spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit. (I John 4:5-6)
“Here’s how we can be sure that we’ve truly come to know God: if we keep his commands. 4 If someone claims, “I have come to know God by experience,” yet doesn’t keep God’s commands, he is a phony and the truth finds no place in him. 5 But the love of God will be perfected within the one who obeys God’s Word.”( I John 2:3-5)
3. It Keeps a sinful lifesityle:
“Anyone who indulges in sin lives in moral anarchy, for the definition of sin is breaking God’s law.5 And you know without a doubt that Jesus was revealed to eradicate sins, and there is no sin in him. Anyone who continues to live in union with him will not sin.“
“Delightfully loved children, don’t let anyone divert you from this truth. The person who keeps doing what is right proves that he is righteous before God, even as the Messiah is righteous. 8 But the one who indulges in a sinful life is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was revealed was to undo and destroy the works of the devil.“
4. The spirit of deceit does not love, don’t put love in practice:
“If anyone sees a fellow believer in need and has the means to help him, yet shows no pity and closes his heart against him, how is it even possible that God’s love lives in him? (I John 3:17)
“Everyone who keeps hating a fellow believer is a murderer,and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.”
Beloved children, our love can’t be an abstract theory we only talk about, but a way of life demonstrated through our loving deeds. 19 We know that the truth lives within us because we demonstrate love in action, which will reassure our hearts in his presence.“( I John 3:17-18)
“God is love! Those who are living in love are living in God, and God lives through them. By living in God, love has been brought to its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world.
Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached love’s perfection.” (I John 4:16-18)
This letter puts in opposition the mindset and behavior of two kind of people: The children of God and those who are driven by the spirit of deceit. Everything John points out it’s to helps us to discern the spirit that surround us, so we can choose the right direction!
If it is the Sipirit of God, wich means the Sipirit of truth, we’ll see those specific fruits and behaviors:
Submission to the Lordship of Jesus;
Obedience to the Word of God;
Renunciation and detachment of worldly mindset and things;
Repentance of sins and change of behavior.
Fraternal love with each other, loving God above it all.
Practice of God’s justice.
To wrap it up, in John’s words:
“Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Messiah is God’s spiritual child and has been fathered by God himself. And everyone who loves Father God loves his children as well.This is how we can be sure that we love the children of God: by having a passionate love for God and by obedience to his commands.True love for God means obeying his commands, and his commands don’t weigh us down as heavy burdens.You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world. So who are the world conquerors, defeating its power? Those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.“

Depois de ler 1 João, eu decidi fazer um “mapa” ou um guia, se você preferir, fornecido pela Palavra para ajudar a nós, cristãos , a reconhecer o verdadeiro ensino do Evangelho, baseado nos princípios da Escritura.
Decidi fazer isso porque tenho visto muitas informações enganosas postadas por “cristãos” nas redes sociais. Também porque eu, como todo cristão, preciso discernir a mentira da verdade. Precisamos estar sempre alertas!
No entanto, para fazer isso, precisamos gastar, intencionalmente, um bom tempo lendo nossa Bíblia. Se não conhecemos a Palavra de Deus, como vamos reconhecer os falsos ensinos e mestres?! Se não estivermos fundamentados na Palavra, é muito fácil comprar um evangelho barato.
Encontrei em I João algumas diretrizes que nos ajudarão, quando lermos ou ouvirmos coisas que parecem verdadeiras, mas não são.
Cuidado, porque há muitos falsos mestres por aí!
João começa sua carta alertando a igreja sobre o espírito do anticristo, que está e estava, já naquela época, no meio do povo de Deus, não só do lado de fora!
Podemos pensar que o anticristo está relacionado apenas com “o mundo” mas, na verdade, ele age astuta e principalmente, de dentro da igreja:
“Filhinhos, esta é a última hora e, assim como vocês ouviram que o anticristo está vindo, já agora muitos anticristos têm surgido. Por isso sabemos que esta é a última hora. 19 Eles saíram do nosso meio, mas na realidade não eram dos nossos, pois, se fossem dos nossos, teriam permanecido conosco; o fato de terem saído mostra que nenhum deles era dos nossos.(…)
1.O espírito do anticristo nega a verdade básica do Evangelho: Que Jesus é o filho de Deus, que veio em carne e sangue, morreu e ressuscitou para a glória do Pai, para nos reconciliar com Ele, restaurando o plano original.
“Quem é o mentiroso, senão aquele que nega que Jesus é o Cristo? Este é o anticristo: aquele que nega o Pai e o Filho. 23 Todo o que nega o Filho também não tem o Pai; quem confessa publicamente o Filho tem também o Pai. (I João 2:22-23)
“Vocês podem reconhecer o Espírito de Deus deste modo: todo espírito que confessa que Jesus Cristo veio em carne procede de Deus; 3 mas todo espírito que não confessa Jesus não procede de Deus. Esse é o espírito do anticristo, acerca do qual vocês ouviram que está vindo, e agora já está no mundo.(…)( I João 4:1-3)
“Mas vocês têm uma unção que procede do Santo, e todos vocês têm conhecimento[g]. 21 Não lhes escrevo porque não conhecem a verdade, mas porque vocês a conhecem e porque nenhuma mentira procede da verdade.“
2.Falsos mestres/ensinamentos: O espírito do anticristo usa a Palavra de Deus contra seu propósito real. Princípios são apagados e a verdade infectada, para defender algumas práticas ou pontos de vista que vão contra Deus. Não envolve arrependimento e mudança de vida!
“Amados, não creiam em qualquer espírito, mas examinem os espíritos para ver se eles procedem de Deus, porque muitos falsos profetas têm saído pelo mundo.(…)5 Eles vêm do mundo. Por isso, o que falam procede do mundo, e o mundo os ouve. 6 Nós viemos de Deus, e todo aquele que conhece a Deus nos ouve; mas quem não vem de Deus não nos ouve. Dessa forma reconhecemos o Espírito da verdade e o espírito do erro.
“Sabemos que o conhecemos, se obedecemos aos seus mandamentos. 4 Aquele que diz: “Eu o conheço”, mas não obedece aos seus mandamentos, é mentiroso, e a verdade não está nele. 5 Mas, se alguém obedece à sua palavra, nele verdadeiramente o amor de Deus está aperfeiçoado. Desta forma sabemos que estamos nele: 6 aquele que afirma que permanece nele, deve andar como ele andou.” (I João 2:3-6)
3. Uma vida sem arrependimento e mudança:
“Qualquer pessoa que se entrega ao pecado vive em anarquia moral, pois a definição de pecado é quebrar a lei de Deus. 5 E você sabe sem uma dúvida de que Jesus foi revelado para erradicar os pecados, e não há pecado nele. Quem continuar a viver em união com ele não pecará. “
“Filhos amados, não deixe ninguém desviá-los desta verdade. A pessoa que continua fazendo o que é certo prova que é justa diante de Deus, até como o Messias é justo. 8 Mas aquele que se entrega a uma vida pecaminosa é do diabo, porque o diabo está pecando desde o princípio. A razão pela qual o Filho de Deus foi revelado foi para desfazer e destruir as obras do diabo. “
4 . Quem é liderado pelo engano não ama, não coloca o amor em prática:
“Se alguém vir um irmão em necessidade e tiver os meios para ajudá-lo, ainda assim não mostra piedade e fecha o coração contra ele, como é possível que o amor de Deus viva nele? (I João 3:17)
“Todo aquele que continua odiando seu irmão é um assassino, e você sabe que nenhum assassino tem a vida eterna residindo nele.”
“Filhinhos, não amemos de palavra nem de boca, mas em ação e em verdade. 19 Assim saberemos que somos da verdade; e tranquilizaremos o nosso coração diante dele 20 quando o nosso coração nos condenar. Porque Deus é[ maior do que o nosso coração e sabe todas as coisas. (I João 3:19-21)
“Nisto consiste o amor: não em que nós tenhamos amado a Deus, mas em que ele nos amou e enviou seu Filho como propiciação pelos nossos pecados.11 Amados, visto que Deus assim nos amou, nós também devemos amar uns aos outros.“
“Deus é amor! Aqueles que vivem no amor estão vivendo em Deus, e Deus vive por meio deles. Vivendo em Deus , O amor foi levado à sua plena expressão em nós para que possamos enfrentar sem medo o dia do julgamento, porque tudo o que Jesus é agora, nós também somos neste mundo. No amor não há medo; ao contrário o perfeito amor expulsa o medo, porque o medo supõe castigo. Aquele que tem medo não está aperfeiçoado no amor.”(I João 4: 10-11/16-18)
Esta carta coloca em oposição a mentalidade e o comportamento de dois tipos de pessoas: Os filhos de Deus e aqueles que são movidos pelo espírito de engano. Tudo o que João aponta nos ajuda a discernir qual é o espírito que nos cerca, para que possamos tomar a direção certa!
Se for o Espírito de Deus, que é o Espírito da verdade, veremos esses frutos e comportamentos específicos:
+Submissão ao senhorio de Jesus;
+Obediência à Palavra de Deus;
+Renúncia e desapego da mentalidade e coisas mundanas;
+Arrependimento dos nossos pecados e mudança de comportamento.
+Amor fraternal mútuo, amando a Deus acima de tudo.
+Prática da justiça de Deus.
Resumindo, nas palavras de João:
“Sabemos que todo aquele que é nascido de Deus não está no pecado; aquele que nasceu de Deus o protege, e o Maligno não o atinge. 19 Sabemos que somos de Deus e que o mundo todo está sob o poder do Maligno. 20 Sabemos também que o Filho de Deus veio e Todo aquele que crê que Jesus é o Cristo é nascido de Deus, e todo aquele que ama o Pai ama também o que dele foi gerado. 2 Assim sabemos que amamos os filhos de Deus: amando a Deus e obedecendo aos seus mandamentos. Porque nisto consiste o amor a Deus: em obedecer aos seus mandamentos. E os seus mandamentos não são pesados. 4 O que é nascido de Deus vence o mundo; e esta é a vitória que vence o mundo: a nossa fé. 5 Quem é que vence o mundo? Somente aquele que crê que Jesus é o Filho de Deus.
