Today I want to share and celebrate a day that was ver important here in Brazil and also for the body of Christ : September 7, the independence day of Brazil!
This year God gave us a direction for this historical day: A day of worship and prayer to honor God and intercede for the church, our families and speciaaly for our nation! And I have to say; It was an amazing and powerful gathering!
We planned 7 hours just to praise God and pray together for the future of the church and the future of Brazil!
This year we have elections for president in october,2 and you probably don’t know that but we are facing political tension and polariztion for a while now, since the goverment changed in 2019 from a progressive goverment to a conservative one!
These past years were very heavy, because the nation is divided. People are spreading hate and fake news more than ever! It has been dark days, but it is not really a surprise right? Because Jesus warned us that it would be like this!
Anyways, the bright side of all this, is that I feel God wakening up His children for the need and importance of intercession and He is also restoring adoration in the way that supposed to be: Focused on Jesus and guided by the Holy Spirit!
We prayed and we sang for Him on this historical and prophetic day, declaring that Jesus is the Lord above every authority that may rule in Brazil in the next 4 years! No matter what are the results, the will of God will prevail over His people and we are called to proclaim His Word, no matter the scenario.
Sure, I’d prefer a scenario more favorable for the church in Brazil than the other, but I also know that God works in chaotic seasons and He uses tension to refine His people, so we can learn to trust Him above politics and anything else! He is faithful ad His plans for us will prevail.
Despite of anything that may happen in these next years, I will continue to declare the favor and the authority of Jesus over my country, because I know He has good plans for this nation and also for all his people around the world!
So this day, I encourage you to keep praying and declaring the Word of God over you, your family and over your nation, because we are called to walk by faith not by sight!

Dia da Independência com adoração e intercessão!
““Naquele dia levantarei a tenda caída de Davi. Consertarei o que estiver quebrado, e restaurarei as suas ruínas. Eu a reerguerei, para que seja como era no passado, 12 para que o meu povo conquiste o remanescente de Edom e todas as nações que me pertencem”, declara o Senhor,[e] que realizará essas coisas.” Amós 9:11-12
Oi amigo, como vai?
Hoje quero compartilhar e celebrar um dia que foi muito importante aqui no Brasil e também para o corpo de Cristo: 7 de setembro, dia da independência do Brasil!
Este ano Deus nos deu uma direção para este dia histórico: Um dia de adoração e oração para honrar a Deus e interceder pela igreja, nossas famílias e especialmente por nossa nação! E eu tenho que dizer: Foi um encontro incrível e poderoso!
Nós, como igreja, planejamos 7 horas só para louvar a Deus e orarmos juntos pelo futuro da igreja e pelo futuro do Brasil!
Este ano , como nós temos eleições para presidente em 2 de outubro, e estamos enfrentando tensão e polarização política há algum tempo, desde que o governo mudou em 2019 de um governo progressista para um conservador, acreditamos, como igreja, que a nossa intercessão era importante e por isso nos reunimos para adorar e proclamar a Palavra sobre o Brasil.
Esses últimos anos foram muito pesados, porque a nação está dividida. As pessoas estão espalhando ódio e notícias falsas mais do que nunca! Tem sido dias sombrios, mas não é realmente uma surpresa, certo? Porque Jesus nos avisou que seria assim!
De qualquer forma, o lado bom de tudo isso, é que eu sinto Deus despertando Seus filhos para a necessidade e importância da intercessão e Ele também está restaurando a adoração da maneira como ela deveria ser: Focada em Jesus e guiada pelo Espírito Santo!
Nós oramos e cantamos para Ele neste dia histórico e profético, declarando que Jesus é o Senhor acima de toda autoridade que possa reinar no Brasil pelos próximos 4 anos! Não importa quais sejam os resultados, a vontade de Deus prevalecerá sobre Seu povo e somos chamados a proclamar Sua Palavra, não importa o cenário.
Claro, eu preferiria um cenário mais favorável para a igreja no Brasil do que o outro, mas também sei que Deus trabalha em épocas caóticas e Ele usa a tensão para refinar Seu povo, para que possamos aprender a confiar Nele acima de política e de qualquer outra coisa ! Ele é fiel e Seus planos para nós prevalecerão.
Apesar de qualquer coisa que possa acontecer nestes próximos anos, continuarei declarando o favor e a autoridade de Jesus sobre meu país, porque sei que Ele tem bons planos para esta nação e também para todo o seu povo ao redor do mundo!
Então, neste dia, eu encorajo você a continuar orando e declarando a Palavra de Deus sobre você, sua família e sua nação, porque somos chamados a andar por fé e não por vista!
Tenham um sábado abençoado amigos! Que o Senhor te encha de esperança e alegria!

These past few weeks definetely challenged me to be patient and hold on faith!
Even knowing that God is always good and that He is control, sometimes my thoughts run wild and make me very anxious! I don’t like to wait. However I know that patience is a fruit of the Spirit and it helps me to enlarge my faith and strength! It is training my arms for battle.
I don’t know if you are struggling like me, waiting for something to happen, but I felt I should share about it again! I hope it helps you to hold on faith and keep walking in trust. Our God is good. All the time!
“True faith is never in a hurry. It knows how to wait. It trusts wholly in me and in my wisdom. Many trust in my power, but few wait to trust in my wisdom. We all have plans and dreams we are hoping to live! If you are a friend and partner of God, you are hoping and waiting on Him for the fullfilment of these plans, right?!
However, this waiting must not be passive. That involves acts of faith and trust!
The Word says, in Hebrews 11, that every man and woman of God had promises in their lives and they had to believe and act in agreement with those promises!
What God expects from us it’s a partnership, that involves listen and acting in trust of His faithfulness. It is not easy, but we are called to a spiritual growth as we walk in faith.
The more we trust and act from that trust, the more our partnership with God become stronger. We learn to be more confident in what He tells us and, step by step, we leave behind our spiritual childhood!
While we wait, we need to build “faith muscles”. That means we need to put into practice what we believe and have learned in the Scriptures! We are not called to see and then, act.
Faith means that we will step forward even when we don’t see the ground under our feet. I know, it is scary sometimes! But it is also exciting and rewarding, as we grow!
The more we learn and put into action what we’ve learned, the more we overcome the insecurity, the fear of failure that used to hold us back!
Everytime God asks us to walk in faith, He empowers us to do it. He also reminds us of everytime in the past, that we trusted in Him and we were not disappointed!
I challenge you to do tthis exercise everytime you need some encouragement to act: Bring to your mind the situations when only God could help you out and He did it! He was your shield and your comfort. He’s still the same!
I know that waiting can be hard and that we feel discouraged some days, but the secret is: We do not sink in that feeling! We declare the truth over us and command our souls to praise God, to believe and keep going, even when it feels heavy!
We must not be guided by our feelings, we are called to be guided by His Words. So feed your heart and mind with it! And watch the transformation that only this spiritual food can cause inside of you.
Be perssistent! Our faith muscles need some time to grow =)
“The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd. By faith, we see the world called into existence by God’s word, what we see created by what we don’t see.” (…)
It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him. (Hebrews 11: 1-2/6)

Estas últimas semanas definitivamente me desafiaram a ser paciente e manter a fé!
Mesmo sabendo que Deus é sempre bom e que Ele é o controle, às vezes meus pensamentos correm soltos e me deixam muito ansiosa! Eu não gosto de esperar. No entanto, sei que a paciência é fruto do Espírito e me ajuda a aumentar minha fé e força! Está treinando meus braços para a batalha.
Não sei se você está lutando assim como eu, esperando que algo aconteça, mas senti que deveria compartilhar sobre isso novamente! Espero que isso ajude você a manter a fé e continuar andando na confiança de que o nosso Deus é bom. O tempo todo!

Todos nós temos planos e sonhos que esperamos viver! Se você é amigo e parceiro de Deus, você está esperando Nele para a realização desses planos, certo?! No entanto, essa espera não pode ser passiva. Isso envolve atos de fé e confiança!
A Palavra diz, em Hebreus 11, que todos os homens e mulheres de Deus tinham promessas em suas vidas e eles tiveram que acreditar e agir de acordo com essas promessas!
O que Deus espera de nós é parceria, que envolve ouvir e agir confiando em Sua fidelidade. Não é fácil! Mas somos chamados ao crescimento espiritual, à medida que caminhamos em fé. Quanto mais confiamos e agimos desse lugar de confiança, mais a nossa parceria com Deus se torna forte. Aprendemos a ser mais confiantes no que Ele nos diz e, aos poucos, deixamos de ser “crianças espirituais”! (1 Coríntios 3)
Enquanto esperamos, precisamos construir esses “músculos de fé”. Isso significa que precisamos colocar em prática o que acreditamos e aprendemos nas Escrituras! Não somos chamados para ver e então agir.
Fé significa que daremos um passo à frente mesmo quando não virmos o chão sob nossos pés. Eu sei, as vezes é assustador! Mas também é empolgante e gratificante, à medida que crescemos!
Quanto mais aprendemos e colocamos em ação o que aprendemos, mais superamos a insegurança, o medo do fracasso que costumava nos segurar!
Sempre que Deus nos pede para andarmos em fé, Ele nos capacita a fazê-lo. Ele também nos lembra de todas as vezes que, no passado, confiamos Nele e não fomos desapontados!
Eu o desafio a fazer este exercício sempre que precisar de algum incentivo para agir: Traga à sua mente as situações em que somente Deus poderia te ajudar e Ele o fez! Ele foi seu escudo e conforto. Ele ainda é o mesmo!
Eu sei que esperar pode ser difícil e que nos sentimos desanimados alguns dias, mas o segredo é: Não nos afundarmos nesse sentimento! Declaramos a verdade sobre nós e mandamos nossas almas louvarem a Deus, acreditarem e seguirem em frente, mesmo quando o dia parece pesado!
Não devemos ser guiados pelos nossos sentimentos, somos chamados a ser guiados pela Palavra. Então alimente seu coração e mente com ela! E observe a transformação que somente este alimento espiritual pode causar dentro de você.
Seja persistente! Nossos músculos espirituais precisam de algum tempo para se desenvolver =)

If you are not doing so well lately, struggling in your own battles, I hope this post bring you some comfort!
Today I was reflecting about some of my current struggles and wondering: Why do we have, in some seasons of life, the same battle over and over?!
Life is hard, we know. We all have our own issues and we have to figure things out, eventually. But, what I was trying to understand, while I talked with God was: Why this same battle everytime? Can’t you give me something different?! After I asked this dumb question to God, I realized that, it is not so bad that God is giving me the same battles everytime. At least, I am becoming better in trusting Him on this matter, and if I think about it, my battles could be worse. So I stopped complaining.
I immediately remembered this passage, in James 1, that says:
“Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.
5-8 If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.“
This passage makes it very clear that we are not suffering in vain! Actually, it is a privilege to suffer under God’s will!! When we choose to live a life that pleases God and we are walking with Him, the tests will come, it is part of the training. God is disciplining us like his true children , so we can be like He is: holy! The good news is that we can always ask for help. He is willing to help us in every situation, we just need to ask in faith!
Nothing that we are going through is without a purpose, God has a plan and a right time for everything! Remember that every time you feel discouraged by the battles you are facing: We are being trained, perfected by the flames of afliction, to be strong and courageous, like God created us to be!
And when we finally overcome the struggle we are facing now, we will be able to help others, encouraging and guiding them into the right direction! The challenges we overcome in every area, gives us the authority to live well and wisely, helping others, who are dealing with the same issues. That’s what we are called to do, as body of Christ!
Hebrews 12:7-8/11:13 says:
“God is educating you; that’s why you must never drop out. He’s treating you as dear children. This trouble you’re in isn’t punishment; it’s training, the normal experience of children. Only irresponsible parents leave children to fend for themselves. Would you prefer an irresponsible God? We respect our own parents for training and not spoiling us, so why not embrace God’s training so we can truly live? While we were children, our parents did what seemed best to them. But God is doing what is best for us, training us to live God’s holy best. At the time, discipline isn’t much fun. It always feels like it’s going against the grain. Later, of course, it pays off big-time, for it’s the well-trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God.
So don’t sit around on your hands! No more dragging your feet! Clear the path for long-distance runners so no one will trip and fall, so no one will step in a hole and sprain an ankle. Help each other out. And run for it!“
Every time you feel tempted to give up, that you feel overhelmed, just remember and declare this passage over you! God gave us His Word as a sword, we can use it in our battles, fighting back all the pain, disbelief and dispair the enemy wants to throw in our direction! Lift up you shield of faith and keep walking! God has enable us to do it!
I pray this will stengthen your heart and that God will give you the wisdom and faith to overcome your battles, using all the spiritual weapons He already gave us! Don’t lose heart friend, keep fighting, we will get there!

With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” (Ephesians 6:12-18)
Qual é o propósito do sofrimento?!
Ei, amigo! Como você está?
Se você não está indo tão bem ultimamente, lutando suas próprias batalhas, espero que este post lhe traga algum conforto!
Hoje eu estava refletindo sobre algumas das minhas lutas e me perguntando: Por que nós enfrentamos, em algumas épocas da vida, a mesma batalha repetidas vezes?!
A vida é dura, eu sei. Todos nós temos nossos próprios problemas e temos que descobrir como lidar com eles, eventualmente. Mas, o que eu estava tentando entender, enquanto eu conversava com Deus, era: “Por que essa mesma batalha todas as vezes? Você não pode me dar algo diferente?!” Depois que eu fiz essa pergunta idiota a Deus, percebi que não é tão ruim assim o fato de que Deus está me dando as mesmas batalhas, repetidamente. Pelo menos, eu estou me tornando melhor em confiar nEle neste assunto e, se eu pensar bem sobre isso, minhas batalhas poderiam ser piores. Então eu resolvi parar de reclamar.
Imediatamente, eu me lembrei desta passagem, em Tiago 1, que diz:
“Meus irmãos, considerem motivo de grande alegria sempre que passarem por qualquer tipo de provação, 3 pois sabem que, quando sua fé é provada, a perseverança tem a oportunidade de crescer. 4 E é necessário que ela cresça, pois quando estiver plenamente desenvolvida vocês serão maduros[a] e completos, sem que nada lhes falte.
5 Se algum de vocês precisar de sabedoria, peça a nosso Deus generoso, e receberá. Ele não os repreenderá por pedirem. 6 Mas, quando pedirem, façam-no com fé, sem vacilar, pois aquele que duvida é como a onda do mar, empurrada e agitada pelo vento. 7 Ele não deve esperar receber coisa alguma do Senhor, 8 pois tem a mente dividida e é instável em tudo que faz.“
Esta passagem deixa bem claro que não estamos sofrendo em vão! Na verdade, é um privilégio sofrer sob a vontade de Deus!! Quando escolhemos viver uma vida que agrada a Deus e estamos caminhando com Ele, as provas virão, faz parte do treinamento. Deus está nos disciplinando como seus verdadeiros filhos, para que possamos ser como Ele é: santo! A boa notícia é que sempre podemos pedir ajuda. Ele está disposto a nos ajudar em todas as situações, só precisamos pedir com fé!
Nada do que estamos passando é sem propósito, Deus tem um plano e um tempo certo para tudo! Lembre-se disso toda vez que você se sentir desencorajado pelas batalhas que está enfrentando: Estamos sendo treinados, aperfeiçoados pela fornalha da aflição, para sermos fortes e corajosos, como Deus nos criou para ser e isso nos habilita para o nosso futuro!
E quando finalmente superarmos a luta que estamos enfrentando agora, poderemos ajudar os outros, incentivando-os e guiando-os na direção certa! Os desafios que superamos em todas as áreas nos dão autoridade para viver e sabedoria, ajudando outros que estão lidando com os mesmos problemas. É isso que somos chamados a fazer, como corpo de Cristo!
Hebreus 12:7-8/ 11:13 diz:
“Enquanto suportam essa disciplina de Deus, lembrem-se de que ele os trata como filhos. Quem já ouviu falar de um filho que nunca foi disciplinado pelo pai? 8 Se Deus não os disciplina como faz com todos os seus filhos, significa que vocês não são filhos de verdade, mas ilegítimos.”(...) “Nenhuma disciplina é agradável no momento em que é aplicada; ao contrário, é dolorosa. Mais tarde, porém, produz uma colheita de vida justa e de paz para os que assim são corrigidos.12 Portanto, revigorem suas mãos cansadas e seus joelhos enfraquecidos. 13 Façam caminhos retos para seus pés a fim de que os mancos não caiam, mas sejam fortalecido.”
Toda vez que você se sentir tentado a desistir, que você se sentir sobrecarregado, apenas lembre-se e declare esta passagem sobre você! Deus nos deu Sua Palavra como uma espada, podemos usá-la em nossas batalhas, lutando contra toda dor, descrença e desespero que o inimigo quer lançar em nossa direção! Levante seu escudo de fé e continue caminhando! Deus nos capacitou para isso!
Eu oro para que essa palavra fortaleça seu coração e que Deus lhe dê sabedoria e fé para vencer suas batalhas, usando todas as armas espirituais que Ele já te deu! Não perca o ânimo, amigo. Continue lutando, nós chegaremos lá!
12 Pois nós não lutamos[b] contra inimigos de carne e sangue, mas contra governantes e autoridades do mundo invisível, contra grandes poderes neste mundo de trevas e contra espíritos malignos nas esferas celestiais.
13Portanto, vistam toda a armadura de Deus, para que possam resistir ao inimigo no tempo do mal. Então, depois da batalha, vocês continuarão de pé e firmes. 14 Assim, mantenham sua posição, colocando o cinto da verdade e a couraça da justiça. 15 Como calçados, usem a paz das boas-novas, para que estejam inteiramente preparados.[c]16 Em todas as situações, levantem o escudo da fé, para deter as flechas de fogo do maligno. 17 Usem a salvação como capacete e empunhem a espada do Espírito, que é a palavra de Deus.18 Orem no Espírito em todos os momentos e ocasiões. Permaneçam atentos e sejam persistentes em suas orações por todo o povo santo.” (Efésios 6:12-18)
“Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].( Romans 12:1-2)
What it means to offer a rational act of worship to God?
As Christians, we are called to live in an intentional way. A way that reflects Jesus in us, His character and love. So, how do we do that?
Romans 12 gives us a key: We need to renew our minds, so we do not conform and live as the world does(because they does not know Christ!). How do we know God? How do we know who is Jesus? We need to dive into the Word!
Spending time with our bible, is one of the most important thing we can do as followers of Christ, if we want to develop a mature and intentional faith in God!
However, if we just study the bible with the goal of human knowledge, we are going to fail. We need our Counselour and helper, the Holy Spirit, to guide us and open our eyes so we can trully see what the words and directions of the bible really means and put them into practice.
There are a lot of preaching out there, that uses fragments of the Word of God, that uses Jesus and pieces of the Gospel in a twisted way. They take a portion of the truth and then, they mixed it up with lies cretead by men(created first by demons and sowed in the minds of men) to trick you and lead you to the wrong path.
If you don’t know God and His Word, how you are going to recognize the truth? There are a lot of arguments out there, things that sounds like truth( outside but also inside of the church) but are actually big lies from the enemy, to take people out of the true way: Jesus Christ.
If we want to be mature Christians, with a solid and rooted faith, we need to spend time with God, reading our bible, praying, fasting and listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit!
The Word warns us that, in the end of times, it would be people announcing “Oh, here is the Christ, or there he is!”. A lot of people twisting weaked minds, telling that they found out the way and want to guide us, but they are more lost than ever. So how we going to identify the truth if we don’t know it, completely?
We are in terrible danger if we don’t know what the Word of God teachs us, what are it’s guidelines, because people will use it out there, to tricks us and drag us to their weaked ways of living and thinking. Be aware!
“Then if anyone says to you [during the great tribulation], ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and they will provide great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones).” Mathew 24:23
“2 1-2 But there were also lying prophets among the people then, just as there will be lying religious teachers among you. They’ll smuggle in destructive divisions, pitting you against each other—biting the hand of the One who gave them a chance to have their lives back! They’ve put themselves on a fast downhill slide to destruction, but not before they recruit a crowd of mixed-up followers who can’t tell right from wrong.
2-3 They give the way of truth a bad name. They’re only out for themselves. They’ll say anything, anything, that sounds good to exploit you. They won’t, of course, get by with it. They’ll come to a bad end, for God has never just stood by and let that kind of thing go on.”(2Peter 1-3)
God also gave us abilities and a calling, so we could be one body, under the authority of Christ, the head! Our unity, as Christians, is also indispensable for our growth in faith. When we have communion with those that share the same faith, we can encourage, correct and develop one another, as we walk in honest and mature relationship with the body of Christ.
We all have specific ways to contribute with the wisdom that comes from the Word, we are different but also suplemental, in the spiritual and institutional church of Christ:
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds[c] and teachers,[d]12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood,[e] to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ(…)”( Ephesians 4:11-15)
My prayer today is that, we seek first the communion with God, daily, through prayer, spending time in the Scripture and also that we seek to walk in communion with the body of Christ, discerning everything that is being said and taught! That we become able to identify what is truth from false doctrine and teachings, that can be teach inside of the Christian community, on social media but also inside of the church!
Don’t be deceit by “religous talk and appearance” but be rooted in the Word of God, so you can discern what it’s true, real, based on the bible. Let’s seek to be mature in faith, to grow stronger in our idenity as sons and daughter, co-heirs with Christ, knowing always that our anchor and north is the Word, not people’s opinions and false teachings!
“God’s words are pure words, Pure silver words refined seven times In the fires of his word-kiln, Pure on earth as well as in heaven. God, keep us safe from their lies, From the wicked who stalk us with lies, From the wicked who collect honors For their wonderful lies.”( Psalm 12:6-8)
“God, teach me lessons for living so I can stay the course. Give me insight so I can do what you tell me— my whole life one long, obedient response. Guide me down the road of your commandments; I love traveling this freeway! Give me an appetite for your words of wisdom, and not for piling up loot. Divert my eyes from toys and trinkets, invigorate me on the pilgrim way. Affirm your promises to me— promises made to all who fear you. Deflect the harsh words of my critics— but what you say is always so good. See how hungry I am for your counsel; preserve my life through your righteous ways!” ( Psalm 119:33-40)
“Portanto, irmãos, rogo-lhes pelas misericórdias de Deus que se ofereçam em sacrifício vivo, santo e agradável a Deus; este é o culto racional de vocês. 2 Não se amoldem ao padrão deste mundo, mas transformem-se pela renovação da sua mente, para que sejam capazes de experimentar e comprovar a boa, agradável e perfeita vontade de Deus.(Romanos 12:1-2)
O que significa oferecer um culto racional de adoração a Deus? Como cristãos, somos chamados a viver de maneira intencional. Um caminho que reflete Jesus em nós, Seu caráter e amor. Então, como fazemos isso?
Romanos 12 nos dá uma chave: Precisamos renovar nossas mentes, para não nos conformarmos e vivermos como o mundo vive (porque eles não conhecem a Cristo!). Como conhecemos a Deus? Como sabemos quem é Jesus? Precisamos mergulhar na Palavra!
Passar tempo com a nossa bíblia é uma das coisas mais importantes que podemos fazer como seguidores de Cristo, se queremos desenvolver uma fé madura e intencional em Deus! No entanto, se apenas estudarmos a Bíblia com o objetivo de desenvolver conhecimento humano, vamos falhar. Precisamos de nosso Conselheiro e ajudador, o Espírito Santo, para nos guiar e abrir nossos olhos para que possamos ver verdadeiramente o que as palavras e orientações da Bíblia realmente significam e colocá-las em prática.
Há muitas pregações e discursos por aí, que usam fragmentos da Palavra de Deus, que usam Jesus e pedaços do Evangelho de forma distorcida. Eles pegam uma parte da verdade e depois misturam com mentiras criadas por homens (criadas primeiro por demônios e semeadas na mente dos homens) para enganá-lo e levá-lo ao caminho errado.
Se você não conhece a Deus e Sua Palavra, como você vai reconhecer a verdade? Existem muitos argumentos por aí, coisas que soam como verdades (fora, mas também dentro da igreja), mas que na verdade são grandes mentiras do inimigo, para tirar as pessoas do verdadeiro caminho: Jesus Cristo.
Se queremos ser cristãos maduros, com uma fé sólida e enraizada, precisamos passar tempo com Deus, lendo nossa bíblia, orando, jejuando e ouvindo a voz do Espírito Santo!
A Palavra nos adverte que, no fim dos tempos, teriam pessoas anunciando “Ah, aqui está o Cristo, ou lá está ele!”. Muita gente torcendo a verdade e enganando mentes enfraquecidas, anunciando “o caminho”, querendo nos guiar, mas elas estão mais perdidas do que nunca. Então, como vamos identificar a verdade se não a conhecemos completamente?
Corremos um grande perigo se não soubermos o que a Palavra de Deus ensina, quais são suas diretrizes, porque as pessoas vão usá-la lá fora, para nos enganar e nos arrastar para seus modos fracos de viver e pensar. Esteja alerta e ciente disso!
“4 Jesus respondeu: “Cuidado, que ninguém os engane. 5 Pois muitos virão em meu nome, dizendo: ‘Eu sou o Cristo!’ e enganarão a muitos.” (Matheus 24:4-5))
“Se, então, alguém lhes disser: ‘Vejam, aqui está o Cristo!’ ou: ‘Ali está ele!’, não acreditem. 24 Pois aparecerão falsos cristos e falsos profetas que realizarão grandes sinais e maravilhas para, se possível, enganar até os eleitos. 25 Vejam que eu os avisei antecipadamente.“(Matheus 24:23-24)
“2 No passado surgiram falsos profetas no meio do povo, como também surgirão entre vocês falsos mestres. Estes introduzirão secretamente heresias destruidoras, chegando a negar o Soberano que os resgatou, trazendo sobre si mesmos repentina destruição. 2 Muitos seguirão os caminhos vergonhosos desses homens e, por causa deles, será difamado o caminho da verdade. 3 Em sua cobiça, tais mestres os explorarão com histórias que inventaram. Há muito tempo a sua condenação paira sobre eles, e a sua destruição não tarda.”( 2 Pedro 2: 1-3)
Deus também nos deu habilidades e um chamado, para que pudéssemos ser um corpo, sob a autoridade de Cristo, o cabeça! A nossa unidade como cristãos, também é indispensável para o nosso crescimento na fé. Quando temos comunhão com aqueles que compartilham a mesma fé, podemos encorajar, corrigir e desenvolver uns aos outros, enquanto caminhamos em um relacionamento honesto e maduro com o corpo de Cristo.
Todos nós temos formas específicas de contribuir com a sabedoria que vem da Palavra, somos diferentes, mas também complementares, na igreja espiritual e institucional de Cristo:
“E ele designou alguns para apóstolos, outros para profetas, outros para evangelistas, e outros para pastores e mestres, 12 com o fim de preparar os santos para a obra do ministério, para que o corpo de Cristo seja edificado, 13 até que todos alcancemos a unidade da fé e do conhecimento do Filho de Deus, e cheguemos à maturidade, atingindo a medida da plenitude de Cristo. 14O propósito é que não sejamos mais como crianças, levados de um lado para outro pelas ondas, nem jogados para cá e para lá por todo vento de doutrina e pela astúcia e esperteza de homens que induzem ao erro. 15 Antes, seguindo a verdade em amor, cresçamos em tudo naquele que é a cabeça, Cristo.( Efésios 4:11-15)
Minha oração hoje é que busquemos primeiro a comunhão com Deus, diariamente, através da oração e do tempo investido nas Escrituras e também que busquemos caminhar em comunhão com o corpo de Cristo, discernindo tudo o que está sendo dito e ensinado, para que possamos identificar o que é verdade e o que é falsa doutrina, que pode ser ensinada dentro da comunidade cristã( especialmente nas redes sociais, mas também nos púlpitos).
Não se engane com “conversas e aparências religiosas”, mas esteja enraizado na Palavra de Deus, para que você possa discernir o que é verdadeiro e real, alinhado com a Palavra. Busquemos amadurecer na fé, crescendo mais fortes em nossa identidade como filhos e filhas, co-herdeiros de Cristo, sabendo sempre que nossa âncora e norte é a Palavra, não as opiniões e falsos ensinamentos das pessoas!
“As palavras do Senhor são puras, são como prata purificada num forno, sete vezes refinada.
7 Senhor, tu nos guardarás seguros, e dessa gente nos protegerás para sempre. 8 Os ímpios andam altivos por toda parte, quando a corrupção é exaltada entre os homens.”(Salmos 12:6-8)
“Ensina-me, Senhor, o caminho dos teus decretos, e a eles obedecerei até o fim. 34 Dá-me entendimento, para que eu guarde a tua lei e a ela obedeça de todo o coração. 35 Dirige-me pelo caminho dos teus mandamentos, pois nele encontro satisfação. 36 Inclina o meu coração para os teus estatutos, e não para a ganância. 37 Desvia os meus olhos das coisas inúteis; faze-me viver nos caminhos que traçaste.[b] 38 Cumpre a tua promessa para com o teu servo, para que sejas temido. 39 Livra-me da afronta que me apavora, pois as tuas ordenanças são boas. 40 Como anseio pelos teus preceitos! Preserva a minha vida por tua justiça!” (Salmos 119:33-40)
Mantenham-se no caminho amigos, e tenham uma semana abençoada!
“I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. “My prayer is not for them alone.
I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”John 17:13-23 NIV
This was one the the last prayers of Jesus before He got betrayed and arrested!
We can realize through His Words that He was interceding for the spiritual health of His followers. He cared about how the disciples, and also the gentiles, would live after his departure!
He interced mostly for 2 things: That we, his followers, would be santified by the Word He spoke and left as an example and, how it would affect us, so we could be made ONE (one body under his rule, the head) through the same mindset and way of living!
He say that two times: Father, make they one as we are ONE. May they be in us and we in them in unity!
So, why UNITY is so important?
When people walk together in comunion, in the everyday life, that shape the way we think, talk and live!
Through unity of thinking, we can affect, and, ultimately, change the enviroment we live in, changing it’s culture!
Jesus made it very clear that “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.”(Matthew 12:25)
Why is that? Because we are weak and easily influenced by everything that surround us! If we walk with people that has different perspectives and principles we going to be affected and ultimately changed in our ways.
For example , if you walk in a everyday basis with a pessimist and rovolted person, soon you going to be reproducing their thoughts and sayings and that will affect the way you live!
That”s why we need to be imersed in the culture of the kingdom of God!
When we walk alone or in the wrong enviromemt, we get weaker and isolated from the kingdom mindset and culture, that’s why the bible made it very clear: We need to walk together with those that share the same faith and face the same strugles:
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?” Ecclesiastes 4:9-11 NIV
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common.” Acts 2:42-44 NIV
“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16 NIV
“Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.“ 2 Corinthians 13:11 NIV
I could go on with so many examples, but those ones already made clear that unity brings a lot of benefits! It encourages us to keep going when we are feeling down, walk in union multiply our efforts. Unity also brings the Presence and favor of God!
In times of so much divison and hate, even among the so called Christians! Let’s stand up in truth and love! Jesus said that the world would recognize Him when the Love between us was real and solid!
We can decide to live above all the diferences we may have, theologicaly, political, cultural. Whatever it might be, we can choose to keep the Word of God alive, despite of it all!
I hope that encourages you to love all the people God put in your life, despite the struggles, so you could be salt and light in this fallen world! That’s what we are called to be, friends!
Let’s keep the mindset and culture of the God’s kingdom alive, encouraging one another every day! “Together we stand, divided we fall!”

Por que a unidade é tão poderosa?!
“Agora vou para Ti, mas digo essas coisas enquanto ainda estou no mundo, para que eles tenham toda a minha alegria. Eu lhes dei a tua palavra e o mundo os odiou, pois eles não são do mundo, como eu também não sou do mundo. Minha oração não é que você os tire do mundo, mas que você os proteja do maligno. Eles não são do mundo, assim como eu não sou dele. Santifica-os pela verdade; sua palavra é a verdade. Assim como você me enviou ao mundo, eu os envio ao mundo. Por eles eu me santifico, para que também eles sejam verdadeiramente santificados. “Minha oração não é apenas para eles.Eu oro também por aqueles que acreditarão em mim através de sua mensagem, para que todos sejam um, Pai, assim como você está em mim e eu estou em ti. Que eles também estejam em nós para que o mundo creia que tu me enviaste. Eu lhes dei a glória que tu me deste, para que sejam um como nós somos um, eu neles e tu em mim, para que sejam levados à completa unidade. Então o mundo saberá que você me enviou e os amou assim como você me amou.” João 17:13-23 NVI
Esta foi uma das últimas orações de Jesus antes de ser traído e preso!
Podemos ver em Suas Palavras que Ele estava intercedendo pela saúde espiritual dos seus seguidores. Ele se importou com a forma como os discípulos e depois, os gentios, viveriam após sua partida!
Ele intercedeu principalmente por 2 coisas: Que nós, seus seguidores, fossemos santificados pela Palavra que Ele ensinou e deixou como exemplo e, que nos tornássemos UM (um corpo sob seu domínio, a cabeça) através da mesma mentalidade e modo de vida!
Ele disse isso duas vezes: Pai, faça deles um, pois somos UM. Que eles estejam em nós e nós neles em unidade!
Então, por que UNIDADE é tão importante?
Quando as pessoas caminham juntas em comunhão, na vida cotidiana, isso molda a maneira como pensamos, falamos e vivemos!
Através da unidade de pensamento, baseados em princípios e valores comuns, podemos afetar e, finalmente mudar o ambiente em que vivemos, mudando a cultura!
Jesus deixou bem claro que “Todo reino dividido contra si mesmo será arruinado, e toda cidade ou casa dividida contra si mesma não subsistirá.” (Mateus 12:25)
Por que isso? Porque somos fracos e facilmente influenciados por tudo que nos cerca! Se andarmos com pessoas que têm diferentes perspectivas e princípios, seremos afetados e, finalmente, mudaremos em nossos caminhos. Já a unidade de princípios e propósito nos fortalece ao longo do caminho!
Por exemplo, se você convive diariamente com uma pessoa pessimista e revoltada, em breve você estará reproduzindo seus pensamentos e ditados e isso afetará a maneira como você vive!
É por isso que precisamos estar imersos na cultura do reino de Deus!
Quando andamos sozinhos ou num ambiente dividido, ficamos mais fracos e isolados da mentalidade e cultura do reino. É por isso que a bíblia deixa bem claro que precisamos caminhar juntos com aqueles que compartilham a mesma fé e enfrentam as mesmas lutas:
“É melhor serem dois do que um, porque eles têm um bom retorno pelo seu trabalho: Se um deles cair, um pode ajudar o outro a se levantar. aquele que cai e não tem ninguém para ajudá-lo a se levantar. Eu poderia continuar com outros tantos exemplos, mas esses já deixaram claro que a união traz muitos benefícios! Nos encoraja a seguir em frente quando estamos deprimidos, caminhar em união multiplica os nossos esforços. A unidade também traz a Presença e o favor de Deus!
Em tempos de tanta divisão e ódio, mesmo entre os chamados “cristãos”, vamos nos firmar na verdade e no amor de Cristo! Jesus disse que o mundo O reconheceria quando o Amor entre nós fosse real e sólido!
Podemos decidir viver acima de todas as diferenças que temos, seja teológica, política, culturais. Seja o que for, podemos optar por manter viva a Palavra de Deus, apesar das divergências!
Espero que isso o encoraje a amar todas as pessoas que Deus colocou em sua vida, apesar das lutas, para que você possa ser sal e luz neste mundo caído! É para isso que somos chamados, amigos!

Passing by just to remind you that God still answers His children’s prayers!
He hears our cry and He fills our lives with good things, at the right time!
All of us who hopes in Him will not be disapppointed. Even when the processes are hard and we are going through tough seasons. He is still present, He is always faithful!
Looking through my pics today, I saw some special faces of people that Jesus gave me in this season of my life, and I feel so blessed!
Not long time ago I was feeling very lonely and isolated and I prayed for Jesus to bring special people into my life and He definetely did it!
Today I can say that I received things from Jesus that I prayed for, for a long time! Yes, we have to ask, and wait and cry for a while, but He listens to our cry and He teachs us to be perseverant! That is part of our growth!
If you did not received what you have been asking for, keep asking and trusting! Don’t give up! God is right there with you, giving you strength and hope to keep waliking on His plans for you!
We can learn to be satisfied and grateful through the journey! It is not about the destination only, but how we walk our way through it, in a daily basis!
God is reminding you to smile today, be happy and thankful today! And not spend your entire time thinking about what you may get in the future!
Let’s invite His Presence into every detail of our daily lives! That’s the better way to enjoy wich day as a blessing, because “this is the day that the Lord has made, so let’s us rejoice and be glad!”

The bible has a lot of references about keeping the joy of the Lord, no matter what. Be inspired by these verses and use it to fight back discouragement, every time you need it!

Today I will continue to share with you the post about temptation, that was based on the devotional “3 secrets about temptation”, to help you dealing with this commom battle, that we all have to face, eventually!
So, I want to go through these 3 secrets, to show you that you can fight back the lies of the enemy, who is trying to put things our heads, like: ” You are alone in this; you are not worthy of forgiveness! This sin is too great for the mercy of Jesus!”(hahaha lets laugh on this one!)
The first secret we should know about tempation is this:
1.Temptations are commom to all men.
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.(…)”. (1Corinthians 10:13)
No matter what kind of tempatition you may face, someone in your own house, church, city or counrty are facing the same battleS than you. There is nothing to be ashamed of. We are humans and since we have a fallen nature, we are going to face tempations and all kind of troubles.
The enemy wants you to think that you are the olny one battling with the temptation of giving up, the temptation of telling lie,the only one dealing with sexual tempation (like sex before marriage or watch porn) or the temptation of jump into a relationship that is not God’s will for you!
No matter what you are being tempeted of, God knows that it are commom to humankind, and He is ready to help!
“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
2. Temptation is not a sin! (But is seeking to overtake you!)
“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.“
“But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
Temptation is active! The goal is to overtake you so it can give a birth to sin. However, if you decide to fight it back, God gives you a way out. You can actually choose not to sin!
The desire to do something sinful it is not itself a sin, but when we give up and do it anyway, then we are chosing to comit a sin.
There is always a option, a way out to scape from the temptation before it takes a form of sin!( Like Joseph did in Genesis 39:1-12)
“As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:14-16)
Don’t let the guilt of tempation overtakes you, because the enemy is always trying to make us believe that we already sinned in our temptation. That is a lie, declare the Word of God outloud when this thought comes your way!
3. But God is faithful!
“But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” (1Corinthians 10:13)
9 …The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials…” (2 Peter 2:9)
If God demands holiness from His children, that means He provides a way to live a holy life! It is not a impossible task.
He is faithful and He will not let us alone in our battles. He will always provide a way, giving us strategies and weapons to fight back the power of darkness!(Ephesians 6:10-20)
He will shows up right on time, we just need to call on His name when temptations come after us!(Psalm 18:16-18)
The Scripture proves, over and over, that we have the authority through Christ to overcome all the evil power that raises against us! We have a loyal High Priest that is always interciding for us, with a compassionate heart, because He knows our weaknesses!
“The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.”Psalm 34:22
“He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David 70 (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago), 71 salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us— 72 to show mercy to our ancestors and to remember his holy covenant, 73 the oath he swore to our father Abraham: 74 to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fear 75 in holiness and righteousness before him all our days.”(Luke 1:69-75)
This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one! Amen” (Mathew 6:9-13)
Uma batalha comum!
Olá querido leitor! Como você está? Espero que você estejabem!
Hoje eu vou continuar com a parte 2 sobre tentação, que foi baseado no devocional “3 segredos sobre a tentação”, para ajudá-lo a lidar com essa batalha comum, que todos nós temos que enfrentar, eventualmente!
Eu quero discorrer sobre esses 3 segredos, para mostrar que você pode lutar contra as mentiras que o inimigo está tentando colocar na nossa cabeça, como por exemplo: “Você está sozinho nisso; você não é digno de perdão! Esse pecado é grandes demais para a misericórdia de Jesus!” (hahaha vamos rir dessa!)
O primeiro segredo que devemos saber sobre a tentação é o seguinte:
1.As tentações são comuns a todos os homens.
“Nenhuma tentação o alcançou, exceto o que é comum à humanidade.(…)” (1 Coríntios 10:13)
Não importa que tipo de tentação você possa enfrentar, alguém em sua própria casa, igreja, cidade ou país está enfrentando as mesmas batalhas que você. Não há do que se envergonhar. Somos humanos e como temos uma natureza caída, vamos enfrentar tentações e todo tipo de problemas.
O inimigo quer que você pense que você é o único lutando contra a tentação de desistir, a tentação de mentir, o único que lida com a tentação sexual (como assistir pornografia ou ter relações antes do casamento) ou a tentação de entrar em um relacionamento que não é a vontade de Deus para você!
Não importa no que você está sendo tentado, Deus sabe que é comum à humanidade, e Ele está pronto para ajudar!
“Portanto, uma vez que temos um grande sumo sacerdote que ascendeu ao céu, Jesus, o Filho de Deus, nos apeguemos firmemente à fé que professamos. 15 Pois não temos um sumo sacerdote que não possa compadecer-se de nossas fraquezas, mas temos um que foi tentado de todas as maneiras, assim como nós, mas ele não pecou. 16 Aproximemo-nos, então, do trono da graça de Deus com confiança, para que possamos receber misericórdia e encontrar graça para nos ajudar em nosso momento de necessidade.”
2. A tentação não é pecado!
“Pois não temos um sumo sacerdote incapaz de simpatizar com nossas fraquezas, mas temos um que foi tentado de todas as maneiras, assim como nós, mas ele não pecou.“
“Mas quando você for tentado, ele também fornecerá uma saída para que você possa suportar.”
A tentação é sempre ativa! O objetivo dela é vencê-lo para que você dê à luz ao pecado. No entanto, se você decidir lutar, Deus lhe dará uma saída. Você pode escolher não pecar!
O desejo de fazer algo pecaminoso não é em si um pecado, mas quando desistimos de lutar e escolhemos nos render, aí sim estamos escolhendo cometer um pecado.
Sempre há uma opção, uma saída para escapar da tentação antes que ela se transforme em pecado!( Como José fez em Gênesis 39:1-12)
“Como filhos obedientes, não se conformem aos desejos malignos que você tinha quando vivia na ignorância. 15 Mas assim como aquele que vos chamou é santo, portanto sejam santos em tudo o que fizerem; 16 pois está escrito: “Sede santos, porque eu sou santo.” (1 Pedro 1:14-16)
Não deixe a culpa pela tentação tomar conta de você, porque o inimigo está sempre tentando nos fazer acreditar que já pecamos em nossa tentação. Isso é mentira! Declare a Palavra de Deus em voz alta quando este pensamento vier atacar a sua mente!
3. Mas Deus é fiel!
“Mas quando você for tentado, Ele também dará uma saída para que você possa suportar.” (1 Coríntios 10:13)
“…O Senhor sabe como livrar os piedosos das provações…” (2 Pedro 2:9)
Se Deus requer santidade de Seus filhos, isso significa que Ele fornece uma maneira de viver uma vida santa! Não é uma tarefa impossível.
Ele é fiel e não nos deixará sozinhos em nossas batalhas. Ele sempre fornecerá um caminho, dando-nos estratégias e armas para combater o poder das trevas! (Efésios 6:10-20)
Ele virá na hora certa, só precisamos clamar pelo Seu nome quando as tentações vierem atrás de nós!(Salmo 18:16-18)
A Escritura prova, repetidamente, que temos autoridade por meio de Cristo para vencer todo o poder maligno que se levanta contra nossa vida! Temos um Sumo Sacerdote leal que está sempre intercedendo por nós, com o coração compassivo, porque Ele conhece e experimentou nossas fraquezas!
“O Senhor, porém, resgatará os que o servem; ninguém que nele se refugia será condenado.” Salmos 34:22
“Ele nos enviou poderosa salvação da linhagem real de seu servo Davi, 70 como havia prometido muito tempo atrás por meio de seus santos profetas. 71 Agora seremos salvos de nossos inimigos e de todos que nos odeiam. 72 Ele foi misericordioso com nossos antepassados ao lembrar-se de sua santa aliança, 73 o juramento solene que fez com nosso antepassado Abraão. 74 Prometeu livrar-nos de nossos inimigos para o servirmos sem medo, 75 em santidade e justiça, enquanto vivermos.” ( Lucas 1:69-75)
“Portanto, orem da seguinte forma:
“Pai nosso que estás no céu, santificado seja o teu nome.10 Venha o teu reino. Seja feita a tua vontade, assim na terra como no céu.11 Dá-nos hoje o pão para este dia,12 e perdoa nossas dívidas, assim como perdoamos os nossos devedores.13 E não nos deixes cair em tentação, mas livra-nos do mal. Pois teu é o reino, o poder e a glória para sempre. Amém.“( Mateus 6:9-13)
