A mature faith!

Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worshipAnd do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].( Romans 12:1-2)

What it means to offer a rational act of worship to God?

As Christians, we are called to live in an intentional way. A way that reflects Jesus in us, His character and love. So, how do we do that?

Romans 12 gives us a key: We need to renew our minds, so we do not conform and live as the world does(because they does not know Christ!). How do we know God? How do we know who is Jesus? We need to dive into the Word!

Spending time with our bible, is one of the most important thing we can do as followers of Christ, if we want to develop a mature and intentional faith in God!

However, if we just study the bible with the goal of human knowledge, we are going to fail. We need our Counselour and helper, the Holy Spirit, to guide us and open our eyes so we can trully see what the words and directions of the bible really means and put them into practice.

There are a lot of preaching out there, that uses fragments of the Word of God, that uses Jesus and pieces of the Gospel in a twisted way. They take a portion of the truth and then, they mixed it up with lies cretead by men(created first by demons and sowed in the minds of men) to trick you and lead you to the wrong path.

If you don’t know God and His Word, how you are going to recognize the truth? There are a lot of arguments out there, things that sounds like truth( outside but also inside of the church) but are actually big lies from the enemy, to take people out of the true way: Jesus Christ.

If we want to be mature Christians, with a solid and rooted faith, we need to spend time with God, reading our bible, praying, fasting and listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit!

The Word warns us that, in the end of times, it would be people announcing “Oh, here is the Christ, or there he is!”. A lot of people twisting weaked minds, telling that they found out the way and want to guide us, but they are more lost than ever. So how we going to identify the truth if we don’t know it, completely?

We are in terrible danger if we don’t know what the Word of God teachs us, what are it’s guidelines, because people will use it out there, to tricks us and drag us to their weaked ways of living and thinking. Be aware!

Then if anyone says to you [during the great tribulation], ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and they will provide great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect (God’s chosen ones).” Mathew 24:23

1-2 But there were also lying prophets among the people then, just as there will be lying religious teachers among you. They’ll smuggle in destructive divisions, pitting you against each other—biting the hand of the One who gave them a chance to have their lives back! They’ve put themselves on a fast downhill slide to destruction, but not before they recruit a crowd of mixed-up followers who can’t tell right from wrong.

2-3 They give the way of truth a bad name. They’re only out for themselves. They’ll say anything, anything, that sounds good to exploit you. They won’t, of course, get by with it. They’ll come to a bad end, for God has never just stood by and let that kind of thing go on.” (2Peter 1-3)

God also gave us abilities and a calling, so we could be one body, under the authority of Christ, the head! Our unity, as Christians, is also indispensable for our growth in faith. When we have communion with those that share the same faith, we can encourage, correct and develop one another, as we walk in honest and mature relationship with the body of Christ.

We all have specific ways to contribute with the wisdom that comes from the Word, we are different but also suplemental, in the spiritual and institutional church of Christ:

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds[c] and teachers,[d] 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood,[e] to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ(…)”( Ephesians 4:11-15)

My prayer today is that, we seek first the communion with God, daily, through prayer, spending time in the Scripture and also that we seek to walk in communion with the body of Christ, discerning everything that is being said and taught! That we become able to identify what is truth from false doctrine and teachings, that can be teach inside of the Christian community, on social media but also inside of the church!

Don’t be deceit by “religous talk and appearance” but be rooted in the Word of God, so you can discern what it’s true, real, based on the bible. Let’s seek to be mature in faith, to grow stronger in our idenity as sons and daughter, co-heirs with Christ, knowing always that our anchor and north is the Word, not people’s opinions and false teachings!

“God’s words are pure words,
Pure silver words refined seven times
In the fires of his word-kiln,
Pure on earth as well as in heaven.
God, keep us safe from their lies,
From the wicked who stalk us with lies,
From the wicked who collect honors
For their wonderful lies.”
( Psalm 12:6-8)

God, teach me lessons for living so I can stay the course. Give me insight so I can do what you tell me— my whole life one long, obedient response. Guide me down the road of your commandments; I love traveling this freeway! Give me an appetite for your words of wisdom, and not for piling up loot. Divert my eyes from toys and trinkets, invigorate me on the pilgrim way. Affirm your promises to me— promises made to all who fear you. Deflect the harsh words of my critics— but what you say is always so good. See how hungry I am for your counsel; preserve my life through your righteous ways!” ( Psalm 119:33-40)

Stay on course, friends, and have a blessed week!

See you soon.

“Ensina-me, Senhor,
    o caminho dos teus decretos,
e a eles obedecerei até o fim.
34 Dá-me entendimento,
35 Dirige-me pelo caminho
37 Desvia os meus olhos das coisas inúteis;
faze-me viver nos caminhos que traçaste.[b]
38 Cumpre a tua promessa
    para com o teu servo,
para que sejas temido.
39 Livra-me da afronta que me apavora,
pois as tuas ordenanças são boas.
40 Como anseio pelos teus preceitos!
Preserva a minha vida por tua justiça!” (Salmos 119:33-40)

Receiving a new identity!

“Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.” Revelations 12:17

Hello dear reader!

Today, I am going to continue talking about the second thing God wants to restore in our lives: Our true identity!

In the post about the prodigal son, I started to talk about the 3 things God wants to restore in us, starting with communion! So, today I want to share about my own experinece with the procces regarding the renewing of my identity, as a daughter of God!

Before I surrender my life to Jesus, when I was 30 years old, I already knew the Word of God, so to speak. I grew up going to church and hearing the Gospel, but to be honest, I was definetely not hearing. I always saw God as a angry and bossy God, who wanted to control me and private me from all the things I thought I wanted in order to be happy.

So, when I was with 16, I decided to leave my “Christianity” behind. I decided that I wanted to be “free” and do whatever I felt like doing. I don’t need to tell you that, after a few years I was disappointed with this so called “freedom”. Almost every Christian knows this kind of story. I went ou there, I proved almost everything and I came back to my Father’s House empty and hungry.

However, even after I became an Christian, I still struggled to receive God’s love. I still saw Him as a demanding, angry God ready to punish me when I made a mistake. It is a proccess you know, to learn how to receive this undeserved Love, that we can’t comprehend very well.

If you think rationally about the Gospel, it is actually a crazy and unbelieveble history: A God that became flesh and came down just to rescue me? He gave himself freely, so I could reconnect with His love and with my true identity. It is not a thing that we can understand right away, that’s why most of us struggle to receive grace and forgiveness, resting in God’s Love.

We need to take one step at the time, offering mercy to ourseves, because we’re going to fail many times along the way, to receive and also to reproduce God’s love for others! So, be kind to yourself, patience is KEY!

I had to fight back anger so many times in my life, since I began this proccess, that I can’t even tell you. But, even in the middle of my frustration with myself and also with people who failed me, God was there holding me and encouraging me to keep going.

So, you see, it is not an easy journey this thing to understand and receive(and ultimately reproduce) God’s love. The enemy will try to make you give up, he will try to tired you up, try to burn you out, but we are called to perseverance!

We need to understand, first of all, that we did not do anything to deserve the love or freedom that God offers us, but Jesus already paid the ultimate price, so we could be One with Him, all we have to do is:

“The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”[d] that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10: 8-10)

All we need to do is to believe and confess! When we truly surrender our lives to Jesus, our identity restoration begins, but we receive this new title right away: Sons and daughters of the God Almighty! How amazing is that?

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.” Ephesians 1:3-6

The Word of God says that God chosen us and not the other way around! Think about that: We were designed with a purpose, created to belong to Him! After you accept this truth, you are called to renew your mind, daily, so you can live and behave as a true son and daughter of God!

So I hope it helps you to understand that, in Christ, you are a new person. It is not about religion, but about receiving a identity that Christ already conquered for you on the cross, and remember: He paid a huge price for you! So you could live in true freedom!

If you are struggling to accept that, just remember: You need to be patient to yourself, intentional and persistent in faith, God will do the rest. You just need to be willing! Every time that fear or doubt comes around remember and declare: God gaves us a spirit of freedom that makes His sons and daughters, so we don’t have any reason to be afraid. Fight back those thoughts and remember that this is war, we are constantly in battle:

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[f] And by him we cry, “Abba,[g] Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” Romans 8:15-17

“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”( Ephesians 6:11-13)

This is all for today folks. Have a great weekend!

What is true freedom?

“So, since we’re out from under the old tyranny, does that mean we can live any old way we want? Since we’re free in the freedom of God, can we do anything that comes to mind? Hardly. You know well enough from your own experience that there are some acts of so-called freedom that destroy freedom. Offer yourselves to sin, for instance, and it’s your last free act. But offer yourselves to the ways of God and the freedom never quits. All your lives you’ve let sin tell you what to do. But thank God you’ve started listening to a new master, one whose commands set you free to live openly in his freedom!

I’m using this freedom language because it’s easy to picture. You can readily recall, can’t you, how at one time the more you did just what you felt like doing—not caring about others, not caring about God—the worse your life became and the less freedom you had? And how much different is it now as you live in God’s freedom, your lives healed and expansive in holiness?

As long as you did what you felt like doing, ignoring God, you didn’t have to bother with right thinking or right living, or right anything for that matter. But do you call that a free life? What did you get out of it? Nothing you’re proud of now. Where did it get you? A dead end. But now that you’ve found you don’t have to listen to sin tell you what to do, and have discovered the delight of listening to God telling you, what a surprise! A whole, healed, put-together life right now, with more and more of life on the way! Work hard for sin your whole life and your pension is death. But God’s gift is real life, eternal life, delivered by Jesus, our Master.”
Romans 6:15‭-‬18‭, ‬20‭-‬23 MSG

Hey friend! Just passing by to share this amazing and guiding passage to say: I am deeply in love with the book of Romans!S2

If you want a “map” to understand the Gospel and have a good picture of God’s plan for mankind, I definetely recomend that you go read Romans! It is so good! Specially the Message version. I love it’s language and how it makes more simple to understand the bible. So, go check it out!

That’s all folks. Have a great friday!

Seize life!

Take a good look at God’s work.
Who could simplify and reduce Creation’s curves and angles
To a plain straight line?

1On a good day, enjoy yourself;
On a bad day, examine your conscience.
God arranges for both kinds of days
So that we won’t take anything for granted.”

Hello dear reader! How are you doing today? I hope you are doing great!

I don’t know about you, but I love the wisdom and dark humor of Ecclesiastes! It really helps me to think more carefully about the value of life and also that I’ll never fully understand it, because I don’t have all the answers in this present time.

The wise man behind these words, Solomon, the wisest man that ever existed, said that even he couldn’t comprehend some situations and evil that were happening all the time on the earth. However, what he made very clear is that, God is Sovereign. He rules over all. In good days or bad days, God is still in control. This is recomforting, right?

Actually, what God is telling me these past days, through this amazing book of the bible, is: Enjoy more your season, enjoy (and be grateful for) your present time, because there are precious opportunities and learnings in the present, in what you are living right now!

Sometimes, I struggle to enjoy today, because I am worrying about what may or may not happen tomorrow. Do you recognize this kind of feeling?

Every day is a GIFT, like it says in the Word! What we are living right now will never come back, so let’s make the best of it, right? The people we have in our lives today, may be not here in the future. The places, the communion, the opportunities to share the Love of God, that we have today, are unique and we should grab it, joyfully!

Let’s remember that good days are made for us, to enjoy it! And the bad days exist to teach us to depend on God’s Sovereignity, standing our ground in faith. In the both kinds of days, we are learning and growing( more in the bad days than the goods, to be honest). The Word of God prevails, no matter the circumstances.

Today, I just want to encourage you the live the fullness of what God is offering you. Love people around you today. Take care of you today. Enjoy some rest, today. Be grateful for your life, that you are holding on, today.

One day at the time, we don’t need to hurry up. Our Father is the owner of time, He is above of any situation, and He loves to take care you us!

Let’s enjoy the opportunities we have in this present moment and learn the better we can with this season of our lives, because it will never coming back.

Have a good day friends!

Seize life! Eat bread with gusto,
Drink wine with a robust heart.
Oh yes—God takes pleasure in your pleasure!
Dress festively every morning.
Don’t skimp on colors and scarves.
Relish life with the spouse you love
Each and every day of your precarious life.
Each day is God’s gift. It’s all you get in exchange
For the hard work of staying alive.
Make the most of each one!
Whatever turns up, grab it and do it. And heartily!
This is your last and only chance at it,
For there’s neither work to do nor thoughts to think
In the company of the dead, where you’re most certainly headed.”

Em um bom dia, divirta-se;
Em um dia ruim, examine sua consciência.
Deus arranja ambos os tipos de dias
Para que não consideremos nada como garantido.” (Eclesiastes 7:13-14- A Mensagem)

“Agarre a vida!
(Eclesiastes 9:7-10)

Shall we go?!

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us and called us to a holy life…” (2 Timothy 1:7-9)

Hey friend! How are you doing today? I hope you are having a good sunday.

Yesterday was a special day! I don’t know if you are aware of this event, but yesterday was the gathering of The Send in Kansas City and it was amazing! I mean, I was not there, I was watching online with some friends, but it was powerful!

This movement, if you don’t know about it, it is a movement of prayer and evangelism that was born in the hearts of several leaders of different countries/movements and the goal is to activate every Christian to go to the fields and preach the Good News of Christ, with passion and authority! It is so powerful, I have to admit that my heart burns for this goal and I was very glad to join in the Send 2020, that happend here in Brazil!

However, my purpose with this post it is not to talk about The Send ,specifically, but to share the need that we Christians have for community! I mean, the whole message is very powerful and necessary, but yesterday during the event, Francis Chan said something really important: It is not only about being send to the fields, but to have a life grounded in God, through a life that involves community(fellowship with the local church) and submision to the Word of God!

It is very easy to embrace this idea of “Let’s start a revolution. Let’s change the world!” but it is very easy to miss the point when you are moving in your own desires and strength! We can easily say: Yes, let’s go, let’s do it! But it is very tricky when we are moving on the wrong perspective!

It is not easy to be patient and understand that we need to take one step at the time! I remember when I was in this DTS school, I experienced a lot of miracles and new things with God and was amazing! But after I came back home, I felt frustrated for a while, because it is hard to slow down and come back to a “normal daily life”. Sometimes, we go back to our local church and we want to change everything, we struggle to connnect with people and the culture of our church.

However, what I’ve learned these past few years is that God is patient and He wants us to be patient with us and the whole process we are being submited!

He wants to be our Lord, partner and guide in everything we do, but it takes time for us to understand that, a life grounded in God’s Word takes time to show the results we want so bad to see!

There is a proper time to everything: To grow roots, to become more mature in our spiritual walk with God, to fruitify! Only on the other side of the “line” the results we expected to see will show up, but we need to be patient!

What I want to share here is that, if you have a passion for the Gospel, with you want to go to the nations, to be a leader or maybe a businnes man or woman to contribute for God’s kingdom and glory, that dream need to be sow, watered, daily cared for and it will grow, but it takes time!

Second, we are not called to walk alone or in our own strength! I have to say that I struggle with this sense of community for a long time! Even for years after I gave my life to Christ, I struggled to connect with others Christians, to let people be part of my life!

Part of the reason was because I was hurted by people and I needed to be healed first! But also because, I had this individualistic sense deep inside, that made me believe for a while I didn’t need people to accomplish my dreams and goals!

That is a big mistake. We can’t accomplish anything great without help, without a good leadership in our lives! First, we have to submit to God’s ways and timing for us, and that part can be very tough and frustrating! If you are a stubborn kind of person like me, you know what I mean!

I suffered a lot before I realized that, I din’t have all the answers or the autonomy I’d like and I needed to submit to God and to the people He put in my life!

So, if you struggle with this kind of rebellious feeling, I encourage you to surrender it to God quickly, so you don’t have to suffer like I did! Submit your mindset, your feelings and beliefs to Him and watch Him change you from the inside out! It is not a easy choice but is totally worth it!

Don’t let your past and traumas isolate you from the body of Christ! We need to walk together in submission and partnership. Like God healed and helped me to see things in a diffrent perspective, I believe He wants to do the same thing for you. You just need to open the door and let Him in!

Yesterday, while I was watching to the Send, I realize how amazing was the work of God in my own life. For a long time, I felt so disconnected from people, so alone in my struggles and, yesterday I was surrounded by good friends!

Friends that God gave me during my walk with my local church, and that makes all the difference in my life! It is so powerful and encouraging to have people we trust and can share our burdens, pray with, laugh together. I am really grateful to Jesus for this gift in my life!

I know that some day my season will change again, that He will send me in a different direction, but till them, I will enjoy the opportunity He gave to be part of His body here and now. I know that I am learning new lessons in every season, with the challenges, opportunities and people He puts in my life!

So don’t feel discouraged, don’t give up! If your dreams are not fulfilled yet, if you are feeling frustrated or isolated, just remember that God is with you, helping you in every battle and every season of your life and, eventually, it will change! New people and opportunities will arrive in your life and you will be ready to receive it!

Just remember that we are all being shaped, challenged, purified by the fires of adversities, but it is not the end! It is just a process and we will succeed, in Jesus name!

Have a great day friends!

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by[c] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.

15 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? 18 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, but one body.” (1 Corinthians 12:12-20)

Why is unity so powerful?!

“I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. “My prayer is not for them alone.

I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”John 17:13‭-‬23 NIV

This was one the the last prayers of Jesus before He got betrayed and arrested!

We can realize through His Words that He was interceding for the spiritual health of His followers. He cared about how the disciples, and also the gentiles, would live after his departure!

He interced mostly for 2 things: That we, his followers, would be santified by the Word He spoke and left as an example and, how it would affect us, so we could be made ONE (one body under his rule, the head) through the same mindset and way of living!

He say that two times: Father, make they one as we are ONE. May they be in us and we in them in unity!

So, why UNITY is so important?

When people walk together in comunion, in the everyday life, that shape the way we think, talk and live!

Through unity of thinking, we can affect, and, ultimately, change the enviroment we live in, changing it’s culture!

Jesus made it very clear that “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.”(Matthew 12:25)

Why is that? Because we are weak and easily influenced by everything that surround us! If we walk with people that has different perspectives and principles we going to be affected and ultimately changed in our ways.

For example , if you walk in a everyday basis with a pessimist and rovolted person, soon you going to be reproducing their thoughts and sayings and that will affect the way you live!

That”s why we need to be imersed in the culture of the kingdom of God!

When we walk alone or in the wrong enviromemt, we get weaker and isolated from the kingdom mindset and culture, that’s why the bible made it very clear: We need to walk together with those that share the same faith and face the same strugles:

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?” Ecclesiastes 4:9‭-‬11 NIV

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common.” Acts 2:42‭-‬44 NIV

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16 NIV

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
2 Corinthians 13:11 NIV

I could go on with so many examples, but those ones already made clear that unity brings a lot of benefits! It encourages us to keep going when we are feeling down, walk in union multiply our efforts. Unity also brings the Presence and favor of God!

In times of so much divison and hate, even among the so called Christians! Let’s stand up in truth and love! Jesus said that the world would recognize Him when the Love between us was real and solid!

We can decide to live above all the diferences we may have, theologicaly, political, cultural. Whatever it might be, we can choose to keep the Word of God alive, despite of it all!

I hope that encourages you to love all the people God put in your life, despite the struggles, so you could be salt and light in this fallen world! That’s what we are called to be, friends!

Let’s keep the mindset and culture of the God’s kingdom alive, encouraging one another every day! “Together we stand, divided we fall!”

That’s all folks. Have a great day!

Dear generation…

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way….”(“A tale of two cities”- Charles Dickens)

Dear generation, I know this present time can look overhelming! We are so fed up with a variety of informations, opinions, teories and conspiracy. There are so many roads that we don’t know wich way to go. We are tired, right?!

Are you sick of living a purposeless, empty life? Are you tired of being labeled? People say that you are giving up. That fear and anxiety are overtaking you, that you are the most confused and unsatisfied generation of all. How long you are going to put up with this?

Can you hear a voice inside of you, calling you for more? Insisting that you were born to live a more meaninful life? You can choose to surrender to despair and just give up or you can fight and believe there is more on the other side of this wall of bad news and anger!

Are you ready to give up of everything you thought you knew, to step into something greater? That requires boldness and courage! But this is the time to risk everything that seems “secure” to enter in the amazing unknown, that can lead you to where you always wanted to go!

Dear generation, it is not the end yet. You can say yes to a new path, a new way of thinking and living that is completely counter-cultural. You can choose to rebel against this fallen system.

Isn’t that what the younger generations always wanted to do?!

You can decide to live the best of times or keep drowning in the worst of it. You are called to a life of surrender, where we can undress ourselves of every burden, masks and every lie, to be what you were creted to be: Sons and daughters of Light, embassadors of the Truth.

Dear generation, you are called for more!

Don’t be afraid! All you have to do is to embrace a simple YES, that will change your history forever. Leave behind the old and the known to step into something new and greater than anything you could ever dream of!

You were created and called for a life of adventure!

It is finished!

“Today is a day for reflection: we think back on the finished work of the cross and what it means for our lives.

How grateful are we for hindsight! We know that the cross is not the end. Resurrection gets the final word.

But put yourselves in the shoes of Jesus’ disciples.

Imagine leaving everything to follow Jesus.

Imagine seeing countless miracles: the blind see, the deaf hear, and the mute speak.

Imagine watching Jesus ride into Jerusalem on a donkey to thunderous applause. Palm branches are laid before him, as the people cheer, “Hosanna!”

If you were one of his disciples, you would have probably thought this was the moment Jesus would restore the kingdom!

Imagine their horror as they watched Jesus get betrayed, arrested, taken through a mockery of a trial, and humiliated while executed on a wooden cross—like a criminal.

Imagine their dejection and disorientation.

Similarly, we often go through seasons where it feels like God has let us down. We find ourselves shrouded in darkness and despair, wrestling with shattered hopes.

During those long days and nights between the cross and resurrection, we can’t imagine the agonizing confusion Jesus’ disciples endured. If anyone had a reason for a faith crisis, they did!

If you find yourself in a season where you are struggling to hold onto faith, barely clinging to the words God has spoken to you, Good Friday is a reminder that you are not alone.

Whatever present darkness you are walking through, take heart. Your story is not yet finished.

As you struggle forward in the faith, like the great cloud of witnesses who have gone before you, be filled with hope that resurrection is coming!”(by Messengers- John and Lisa Bevere)

Seja qual for a escuridão atual pela qual você esteja caminhando, tenha coragem.

God still answers our prayers!

“I love God because he listened to me, listened as I begged for mercy. He listened so intently as I laid out my case before him. Death stared me in the face, hell was hard on my heels. Up against it, I didn’t know which way to turn; then I called out to God for help: “Please, God!” I cried out. “Save my life!” God is gracious—it is he who makes things right, our most compassionate God. God takes the side of the helpless; when I was at the end of my rope, he saved me. I said to myself, “Relax and rest. God has showered you with blessings. Soul, you’ve been rescued from death; Eye, you’ve been rescued from tears; And you, Foot, were kept from stumbling.”
Psalm 116:1‭-‬8 MSG

Hey friend!

Passing by just to remind you that God still answers His children’s prayers!

He hears our cry and He fills our lives with good things, at the right time!

All of us who hopes in Him will not be disapppointed. Even when the processes are hard and we are going through tough seasons. He is still present, He is always faithful!

Looking through my pics today, I saw some special faces of people that Jesus gave me in this season of my life, and I feel so blessed!

Not long time ago I was feeling very lonely and isolated and I prayed for Jesus to bring special people into my life and He definetely did it!

Today I can say that I received things from Jesus that I prayed for, for a long time! Yes, we have to ask, and wait and cry for a while, but He listens to our cry and He teachs us to be perseverant! That is part of our growth!

If you did not received what you have been asking for, keep asking and trusting! Don’t give up! God is right there with you, giving you strength and hope to keep waliking on His plans for you!

We can learn to be satisfied and grateful through the journey! It is not about the destination only, but how we walk our way through it, in a daily basis!

God is reminding you to smile today, be happy and thankful today! And not spend your entire time thinking about what you may get in the future!

Let’s invite His Presence into every detail of our daily lives! That’s the better way to enjoy wich day as a blessing, because “this is the day that the Lord has made, so let’s us rejoice and be glad!”

Have a great sunday friends!
