“Good friend, take to heart what I’m telling you; collect my counsels and guard them with your life. Tune your ears to the world of Wisdom;set your heart on a life of Understanding. That’s right—if you make Insight your priority, and won’t take no for an answer, Searching for it like a prospector panning for gold, like an adventurer on a treasure hunt. Believe me, before you know it Fear-of-God will be yours; you’ll have come upon the Knowledge of God.
And here’s why: God gives out Wisdom free, is plainspoken in Knowledge and Understanding. He’s a rich mine of Common Sense for those who live well,a personal bodyguard to the candid and sincere. He keeps his eye on all who live honestly,and pays special attention to his loyally committed ones.
So now you can pick out what’s true and fair, find all the good trails! Lady Wisdom will be your close friend, and Brother Knowledge your pleasant companion. Good Sense will scout ahead for danger, Insight will keep an eye out for you. They’ll keep you from making wrong turns, or following the bad directions Of those who are lost themselves and can’t tell a trail from a tumbleweed, These losers who make a game of evil and throw parties to celebrate perversity, Traveling paths that go nowhere, wandering in a maze of detours and dead ends.
Wise friends will rescue you from the Temptress— that smooth-talking Seductress Who’s faithless to the husband she married years ago, never gave a second thought to her promises before God. Her whole way of life is doomed; every step she takes brings her closer to hell. No one who joins her company ever comes back, ever sets foot on the path to real living.
“So—join the company of good men and women, keep your feet on the tried-and-true paths. It’s the men who walk straight who will settle this land,the women with integrity who will last here. The corrupt will lose their lives; the dishonest will be gone for good.” (Proverbs 2)
“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow,will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.”

This beautiful Psalm talks deeply into my heart about the seasons in our lives! Not only that, but also how important it is not to lose sight of what God promised and what He already did for us!
We all have promises (if you are a Christian) not yet fulfilled in our lives, right?! Sometimes all we have in the “wilderness seasons” is the hope that one day God will do what He has promised to us!
However, even in our toughest seasons, when we are tired and discouraged, we can choose to bring to our minds what He already did for us! That will definitely feed our hearts with hope and strength our faith!
An important thing to keep in mind is that: God is always working, in us and for us! Even when we feel desperate and alone, He is there, building strength inside of us and refining our character. He is also holding us together and comforting our hearts, so we don’t give up!
If you are in a good and light season, enjoy it the best you can and be grateful to God and generous to others, because God is giving you rest!
If you are in a hard season, be strong and corageous! Remember that God is with you, sustaining you, so you can face one battle at the time. Take the best you can from this process! Learn with the challenges and grow in wisdom and patience.
No matter what we are going through this season, God remains faithful and He is a good and loving Father. He will accomplish everything He promised for us and for our family! Not only in this life, because He has a much better and everlasting reward for us! Keep that in mind.

Esse Salmo inspirador fala profundamente ao meu coração sobre as estações da vida! Não apenas isso, mas também como é importante não perder de vista o que Deus prometeu e o que Ele já fez por nós!
Todos nós temos promessas (se você é cristão) ainda não cumpridas em nossas vidas, certo?! Às vezes, tudo o que temos nas “estações secas” é a esperança de que um dia Deus fará o que nos prometeu!
No entanto, mesmo em nossas épocas mais difíceis, quando estamos cansados e desanimados, podemos escolher trazer à nossa mente o que Ele já fez por nós! Isso certamente alimentará nossos corações com esperança e fortalecerá nossa fé!
Uma coisa importante que devemos ter em mente é: Deus está sempre trabalhando, em nós e por nós! Mesmo quando nos sentimos desesperados e sozinhos, Ele está lá, fortalecendo-nos internamente e refinando nosso caráter. Ele também está nos mantendo de pé e confortando nossos corações, para não desistirmos!
Se você está em uma estação leve e feliz, aproveite o melhor que puder e seja grato a Deus e generoso com os outros, porque Deus está lhe dando descanso!
Se você está passando por uma época difícil, seja forte e corajoso! Lembre-se de que Deus está com você, sustentando-o, para que você possa enfrentar uma batalha de cada vez. Tire o melhor que puder desse processo! Aprenda com os desafios e cresça em sabedoria e paciência.
Não importa o que estejamos passando nesta temporada, Deus permanece fiel e Ele é um bom Pai. Ele vai cumprir tudo o que prometeu para a nossa vida e nossa família! Não apenas nessa vida, pois o melhor ainda está por vir, sua recompensa é eterna! Lembre-se disso.

I love psalm 127!
I love how it goes through our biggest concerns: It talks about family, work hard, security, time and how we should see our children: An inheritance from God!
Lately, God began to driven my attention to this important matter: Children! And how my daughter is an indispensable and importantl part of God’s plan in every area of my life!
Sometimes, we are so overhelmed by routine and work and bills to pay that we don’t realize that we are living on automatic pilot!
I thought, in my foolish naivy, that I had everything under control(haha). But recently, God got my attention to remember that we are a team! He wants to work in and with me, and most important, that I am definitely not in control!
I try hard to teach my daughter the Word of God. I tell her how important is to pray, we pray and read the bible together and I always remember her that it is not about religion, that she needs to develop a real and close relationship with God!
However, I forgot that, like me and everybody else, even the most firm and experienced Christian, she will have battles to fight against doubts and lies. She will face highs and lows in her faith walk!
That is why you and I, need to remember, specially if you are a parent, that we need God’s help! We need to be firmly rooted in his Word, so we can face the stormy seasons of our lives!
Like the psalm says:
“If God’s grace doesn’t help the builders, they will labor in vain to build a house. If God’s mercy doesn’t protect the city, all the sentries will circle it in vain.“
That means if God it is not the center of my life and family, I am fighting in vain to do the right thing! I need to put my life and trust on Him, steping back and leting Him lead me through the battles and decisions, all the way to the finish line!
Sometimes I forget that He is always taking care of me and those I love. God is there when I am sleeping. His Presence is there, where my eyes and arms can’t reach! He was there even when I was trying to run away of His Presence and plans for me!
He never lost control!
Family is God’s plan for humanity! It is a GIFT from Him, to teach us how to relate in a healthy way, how to give ourselves to the benefit of others and how to build a legacy align with His plans, that will last for generations!
He designed it in and for us, to show us how we put LOVE in practice, always in partenership with Him. It’s how we going to reveal his love and character to the world! It is a deep mistery, a reflection from the spiritual realm from above, that we are called to live here on earth, first!
It is hard to be a parent right? Even more a single mom! However, God always reminds me of His Grace and active Presence in my life! He is with me on this daily battle to sow his Word and truth in the heart of my daughter and keep that in mine, no matter how the situation looks like!
Our children are our legacy! It is through them that a godly model of family and daily relationship will pass through the generations! That’s why it is so hard sometimes, to put the Word of God in practie, denying ourselves and trust him to do what we can’t!
The world out there is fighting hard against it! They want to take control of our children minds and identity! They are taking all the fronts possible to dictate what it’s true and what it’s acceptable! This is war, my friend!
If we don’t put our trust in God alone and let Him lead our family and future, we are hopeless! There is no way we can fight this battle in our own strength!
I don’t know what area of your life you are fighting for, maybe it is like me, for the faith of your children, maybe it is for your marriage or relatives, but remember: God is the One watching for the safety of the city! Outside of Him, we are working hard for nothing!
We need to surrender all the control to him! Let all our worries and plans at His hands and He will lead us through the right way!
Perseverance is key! Remember: One step at the time! We can’t win the whole war in one day with just one move. We are called to fight one battle at the time, leaning on God’s strength, not in our own ability!
Our family is our number one priority, our legacy! Its a well designed weapon against this fallen culture, that despises God and His Word! Don’t let anyone or anything tell you the opposite. There is no carrier or ministry or personal plans that can replace the importante and the beauty of family in our lives!
Take care of those you love as a priority! And remember that you don’t have to do it alone! God is right there, ready to help you and walk by you through the struggles of life!
We are called to sow good seeds in the heart of our children,spouses and loved ones! Watering it daily and trusting God to do the growth! When we work in partnership with Jesus, time is working for us, not against us!
We can rest on God’s promises for us and our family! Never forget that we are part of his plans, since the beginning of times!
He will fight for us and with us!
“If God doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves? Don’t you see that children are God’s best gift? the fruit of the womb his generous legacy? Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children! Your enemies don’t stand a chance against you; you’ll sweep them right off your doorstep.” Psalm 127
“How joyous are those who love the Lord and bow low before God, ready to obey him! 2 Your reward will be prosperity, happiness, and well-being. 3 Your wife will bless your heart and home. Your children will bring you joy as they gather around your table. 4 Yes, this is God’s generous reward for those who love him. 5 May the Lord bless you out of his Zion-glory! May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem throughout your lifetime. 6 And may you be surrounded by your grandchildren. Happiness to you! And happiness to Israel!” Psalm 128
Uma arma bem desenhada!
“Os filhos são herança do Senhor, uma recompensa que ele dá. 4 Como flechas nas mãos do guerreiro são os filhos nascidos na juventude. 5 Como é feliz o homem que tem a sua aljava cheia deles! Não será humilhado quando enfrentar seus inimigos no tribunal.“
Eu amo o salmo 127!
Eu amo como ele passa por nossas maiores preocupações: Fala sobre família, trabalho duro, segurança, tempo, descanso e como devemos ver nossos filhos: Uma herança de Deus e uma arma nas batalhas espirituais e diárias!
Ultimamente, Deus começou a chamar minha atenção para este assunto importante: Filhos! E como minha filha é uma parte importante e indispensável nos plano de Deus em todas as áreas da minha vida!
Às vezes, ficamos tão sobrecarregados com a rotina, o trabalho e as contas pra pagar que não percebemos que estamos vivendo no piloto automático!
Eu achei , na minha tola ingenuidade, que tinha tudo sob controle (haha), mas recentemente, Deus me lembrou de que somos uma equipe, que Ele quer trabalhar comigo e em mim. E, o mais importante, que definitivamente eu não estou no controle!
Eu me esforço muito para ensinar pra minha filha a Palavra de Deus. Eu digo a ela o quão importante é orar, oramos e lemos a bíblia juntas e sempre a lembro que não é sobre religião, que ela precisa desenvolver uma relação real e pessoal com Deus!
No entanto, eu me esqueci que, como eu e todo mundo, mesmo o cristão mais firme e experiente, ela terá batalhas para lutar contra as dúvidas e mentiras que tentam plantar na vida dela. Ela enfrentará altos e baixos em sua caminhada de fé!
É por isso que você e eu precisamos nos lembrar, especialmente como pais, que precisamos continuamente da ajuda de Deus! Precisamos estar firmemente enraizados em sua Palavra, para que possamos enfrentar as temporadas desafiadoras da vida!
Como diz o salmista:
“Se a graça de Deus não ajudar os construtores, eles trabalharão em vão para construir uma casa. Se a misericórdia de Deus não protege a cidade, todas as sentinelas o circundarão em vão. “
Isso significa que se Deus não é o centro da minha vida e da minha família, estou lutando em vão para fazer a coisa certa! Preciso colocar minha vida e confiança Nele, dando um passo para trás e deixando que Ele me lidere através das batalhas e decisões, até a linha de chegada!
Às vezes, eu me esqueço que Ele está sempre cuidando de mim e daqueles que eu amo. Deus está lá quando estou dormindo. Sua Presença está lá, onde meus olhos e braços não alcançam! Ele estava lá mesmo quando eu estava tentando fugir de Sua Presença e planos para mim!
Ele nunca perdeu o controle!
Família é um plano de Deus para a humanidade! É um DOM Dele, para nos ensinar como nos relacionarmos de forma saudável, como nos doarmos em benefício dos outros e como construir um legado alinhado aos Seus princípios, que durará por gerações!
Ele a projetou em e para nós, para nos mostrar como colocamos o AMOR em prática, sempre em parceria com ele. É assim que vamos revelar seu amor e caráter para o mundo! É um mistério profundo, um reflexo do reino espiritual de cima, que somos chamados a viver aqui na Terra, primeiro!
É difícil ser pai/mãe não é? Ainda mais mãe solteira! Porém, Deus sempre me lembra de Sua Graça e Presença protetora na minha vida! Ele está comigo nesta batalha diária para semear sua Palavra e verdade no coração da minha filha e mantê-la sempre no meu, não importa quão difícil a situação se pareça!
Nossos filhos são nosso legado! É através deles que um modelo bíblico de família e relacionamento diário passará através das gerações! É por isso que, às vezes, é tão difícil colocar a Palavra de Deus em prática, negar a nós mesmos e confiar que Ele fará o que não podemos! Nós enfrentaremos resistência.
O mundo lá fora está lutando arduamente contra isso! Eles querem assumir o controle da identidade e da mente de nossos filhos! Eles estão tomando todas as frentes possíveis para ditar o que é verdade e o que é aceitável! Isso é guerra, meu amigo!
Se não colocarmos nossa confiança somente em Deus e deixarmos Ele liderar nossa família e nosso futuro, não teremos nenhuma esperança! Não há como travarmos essa batalha com nossas próprias forças!
Não sei por qual área da sua vida você está lutando, talvez seja como eu, pela fé dos seus filhos, talvez seja pelo seu casamento ou por seus parentes, mas lembre-se: “Deus é quem zela pela segurança da cidade!” Fora dele, estamos trabalhando duro para nada!
Precisamos entregar todo o controle a Ele! Deixar todas as nossas preocupações e planos em Suas mãos e confiar que Ele nos guiará no caminho certo!
Perseverança é uma chave! Lembre-se: um passo de cada vez! Não podemos vencer a guerra inteira em um dia com apenas um movimento. Somos chamados para travar uma batalha de cada vez, apoiando-nos na força de Deus, não em nossa própria capacidade!
Nossa família é nossa prioridade número um, nosso legado! É uma arma bem projetada contra esta cultura caída, que despreza a Deus e Sua Palavra! Não deixe ninguém ou nada lhe dizer o contrário. Não há carreira, ministério ou planos pessoais que possam substituir a importância e a beleza da família em nossas vidas!
Dê prioridade a quem você ama! E lembre-se de que você não precisa fazer isso sozinho! Deus está ali, pronto para ajudá-lo e caminhar ao seu lado nas lutas da vida!
Somos chamados a semear boas sementes no coração dos nossos filhos, cônjuges e entes queridos! Regando-as diariamente e confiando em Deus para dar o crescimento! Quando trabalhamos em parceria com Jesus, o tempo trabalha a nosso favor, não contra nós!
Podemos descansar nas promessas de Deus para nós e pra nossa família! Nunca se esqueça que fazemos parte de Seus planos, desde o início dos tempos!
Ele lutará por nós e conosco!
“Se não for o Senhor o construtor da casa, será inútil trabalhar na construção. Se não é o Senhor que vigia a cidade, será inútil a sentinela montar guarda. 2 Será inútil levantar cedo e dormir tarde, trabalhando arduamente por alimento. O Senhor concede o sono àqueles a quem ele ama.

This message of hope it’s to remind you that, no matter what you are going through or how bad can seems the scenario, God is still in control!
He sees you. He sees us in the middle of our pain and chaos!
Cry out to Him and He’ll come through for you. His mercy and forgiveness is always available to us! We don’t need to sink in despair.
We have a Father watching over us, day and night, ready to save!
“Praise, honor, glory, and dominion be to God-Enthroned and to Christ the Lamb forever and ever!”
Esse não é o fim!
“…o povo que vivia nas trevas viu uma grande luz; sobre os que viviam na terra da sombra da morte raiou uma luz”.

Essa mensagem de esperança é para lembrá-lo de que, não importa o que você esteja passando ou quão ruim possa parecer o cenário, Deus ainda está no controle!
Ele te vê. Ele nos vê em meio a nossa dor e caos!
Clame a Ele e Ele virá em seu auxílio! Sua misericórdia e perdão estão sempre disponíveis para nós! Não precisamos afundar em desespero.
Temos um Pai cuidando de nós, dia e noite, pronto para salvar!
“Àquele que está assentado no trono e ao Cordeiro sejam o louvor, a honra, a glória e o poder, para todo o sempre!”
Continuing the topic about the Word of God(and declaring it in prayer), today I want to encourage you to use your bible to make a intercession prayer! (However, you can also pray this psalm in first person as well)
In times like this, when we are living under attack and deception, it is so important for us to pray(always) for our beloved ones, friends and brothers/sisters around the world who are being persecuted!( Let’s not forget the situation in Afghanistan!)
Also, since we are talking about the importance and power of the Word of God, I am sharing here a podcast, with one of my favorite Christian couples, in the whole world ( I love them=), John and Lisa Bevere.

Always pray before reading the bible, invite the the Holy Spirit to be part of the reading, so He’ll give you understanding of the Word and discerniment to apply it in your life!
The bible changes us! When we are consistant, it will change our bad behaviors! The more you read it, the less you are vulnerable to make bad decisions! ( How amazing is that?!)
If you are a young believer, it is better to follow a reading plan, but you can also ask the Holy Spirit what you should read! That’s an amazing way to learn how to listen the voice of God.
The Holy Spirit makes the Word of God renewed every time, for us! Every time we read a chapter or verse, we are able to see something new or understand even better what we read before, going deeper into the meanings!
Meditate on what you read, it is a key exercise, so what you just read go deep into your heart and it change you, from inside out!
Share what you’ve learn in the Word with your family. Specially your kids! Set your own dinamics to do it, but definitely do it! Talk about it every chance you can!

Continuando com o tema sobre a bíblia (e orando a Palavra), hoje eu quero te encorajar a usar sua bíblia para fazer uma oração de intercessão! (Mas claro, você também pode orar este salmo na primeira pessoa).
Nos tempos em que vivemos, sob ataque e engano, é importante que oremos (sempre) por nossos entes queridos, amigos e irmãos/irmãs ao redor do mundo que estão sendo perseguidos! (Não vamos nos esquecer da situação no Afeganistão!)
Além disso, já que estamos falando sobre a importância e o poder da Palavra de Deus, estou compartilhando um podcast de um dos meus casais cristãos favoritos do mundo todo, John e Lisa Bevere, que destaca a importância de ler a sua bíblia e como você pode fazer isso de uma forma mais leve e eficaz! Alguns pontos do primeiro episódio, que eu quero destacar:
Sempre ore antes de ler a bíblia, convide o Espírito Santo para fazer parte da leitura, para que Ele lhe dê entendimento da Palavra e discernimento para aplicá-la em sua vida !
A Bíblia nos muda! Quando formos consistentes, esse hábito mudará nossos maus comportamentos! Quanto mais você lê, menos vulnerável você se torna a decisões erradas! (Isso não é incrível?!)
Se você é um jovem cristão(recém convertido), é melhor seguir um plano de leitura, mas você também pode perguntar ao Espírito Santo o que deve ler! Essa é uma maneira incrível de aprender a ouvir a voz de Deus.
O Espírito Santo faz com que a Palavra de Deus seja renovada todas as vezes, para nós! Cada vez que lemos um capítulo ou versículo, somos capazes de ver algo novo ou entender ainda mais o que lemos antes, nos aprofundando no significado e propósito!
Meditar no que você leu é um exercício fundamental, então o que você acabou de ler vai mais fundo no seu coração e te muda, de dentro para fora!
Compartilhe o que você aprendeu na Palavra com sua família. Especialmente com seus filhos! Defina sua própria dinâmica para fazer isso, mas definitivamente faça! Fale sobre isso sempre que puder!
Then the angel who talked with me returned and woke me up, like someone awakened from sleep. He asked me, “What do you see?”
I answered, “I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven channels to the lamps. Also there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.”
I asked the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”
He answered, “Do you not know what these are?”
“No, my lord,” I replied.
So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.
“What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’”
Then the word of the Lord came to me: “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.
“Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?”
Then I asked the angel, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?”
Again I asked him, “What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?”
He replied, “Do you not know what these are?”
“No, my lord,” I said.
So he said, “These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth.”
“Who dares despise the day of small things?!” When the time had come, the Spirit of God will accomplish what He determined, on earth and to His people; the promises we are waiting for will come true. Not by our efforts or power, our breakthrough will come by His merciful and powerful Spirit!
Sometimes, we get discouraged when things does not happens in our time or in the way we’d like! However, God is encouraging us: “Keep walking and trusting in Me. At the right time, things will happen. Things that seems an obstacle today will change, and you will advance. I am the One who make you strong and capable!”
“Não por força nem por violência…”
“Depois o anjo que falava comigo tornou a despertar-me, como se desperta alguém do sono, e me perguntou: “O que você está vendo?”
Respondi: Vejo um candelabro de ouro maciço, com um recipiente para azeite na parte superior e sete lâmpadas e sete canos para as lâmpadas. Há também duas oliveiras junto ao recipiente, uma à direita e outra à esquerda.
Perguntei ao anjo que falava comigo: O que significa isso, meu senhor?
Ele disse: “Você não sabe?”
Não, meu senhor, respondi.
“Esta é a palavra do Senhor para Zorobabel: ‘Não por força nem por violência, mas pelo meu Espírito’, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos.
“Quem você pensa que é, ó montanha majestosa? Diante de Zorobabel você se tornará uma planície. Ele colocará a pedra principal aos gritos de ‘Deus abençoe! Deus abençoe!’
Então o Senhor me falou: 9 “As mãos de Zorobabel colocaram os fundamentos deste templo; suas mãos também o terminarão. Assim saberão que o Senhor dos Exércitos me enviou a vocês.
“Pois aqueles que desprezaram o dia das pequenas coisas terão grande alegria ao verem a pedra principal nas mãos de Zorobabel”.
Então ele me disse: “Estas sete lâmpadas são os olhos do Senhor, que sondam toda a terra”.
A seguir perguntei ao anjo: O que significam estas duas oliveiras à direita e à esquerda do candelabro?
E perguntei também: O que significam estes dois ramos de oliveira ao lado dos dois tubos de ouro que derramam azeite dourado?
Ele disse: “Você não sabe?”
Não, meu senhor, respondi.
Então ele me disse: “São os dois homens que foram ungidos para servir ao Soberano de toda a terra!”
“Quem se atreve a desprezar o dia das pequenas coisas ?!” Quando chegar a hora, o Espírito de Deus cumprirá o que Ele determinou, na Terra e para o Seu povo; as promessas pelas quais esperamos se cumprirão. Não por nossos esforços ou poder, mas o romper virá pelo Seu Espírito, misericordioso e poderoso!
Às vezes, desanimamos por não ver as coisas acontecerem no nosso tempo ou da forma que gostaríamos! Mas Deus nos encoraja: “Continue, na hora certa as coisas vão acontecer! As coisas que hoje se apresentam como uma grande dificuldade vão ser transformadas e você vai avançar. Sou Eu quem te capacito!”
“At that time, this song will be sung in the country of Judah: We have a strong city, Salvation City, built and fortified with salvation. Throw wide the gates so good and true people can enter. People with their minds set on you, you keep completely whole, Steady on their feet, because they keep at it and don’t quit.
Depend on God and keep at it because in the Lord God you have a sure thing. Those who lived high and mighty he knocked off their high horse. He used the city built on the hill as fill for the marshes. All the exploited and outcast peoples build their lives on the reclaimed land. The path of right-living people is level. The Leveler evens the road for the right-living.
We’re in no hurry, God. We’re content to linger in the path sign-posted with your decisions. Who you are and what you’ve done are all we’ll ever want. Through the night my soul longs for you. Deep from within me my spirit reaches out to you. When your decisions are on public display, everyone learns how to live right. If the wicked are shown grace, they don’t seem to get it. In the land of right living, they persist in wrong living, blind to the splendor of God.

Confiem para sempre no Senhor, pois o Senhor, somente o Senhor, é a Rocha eterna. Ele humilha os que habitam nas alturas, rebaixa e arrasa a cidade altiva e a lança ao pó. Pés as pisoteiam, os pés dos necessitados, os passos dos pobres.
A vereda do justo é plana; tu, que és reto, tornas suave o caminho do justo. Andando pelo caminho das tuas ordenanças esperamos em ti, Senhor. “My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my horn[a] is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance.
“There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.
“Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the Lord is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed.
“The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength. Those who were full hire themselves out for food, but those who were hungry are hungry no more. She who was barren has borne seven children, but she who has had many sons pines away.
“The Lord brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor.
“For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s; on them he has set the world. He will guard the feet of his faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness.
“It is not by strength that one prevails; those who oppose the Lord will be broken. The Most High will thunder from heaven; the Lord will judge the ends of the earth.
“He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed.”
Hey friend! How are you doing?
If you are familiarized with Hannah’s story, you already know what I want to share today! Yes, waiting on the Lord!
This week I went through a devotional with the theme “Waiting well” and, since I know that everyone of us have hopes and dreams, all of us are waiting for something to happen, I thought it was a good thing to talk about!
Hannah was a barren woman who waited a long time for a baby! During this process, she was constantly humiliated by her rival, Penina, who was the other wife of her husband and had sons.
I think we can relate with some aspects of her story. During our journey of waiting, sometimes people will mock of us or will try to discourage us, testing our faith and trying to stop us of believing and waiting for a miracle!
However, some rivals in our journey can be a good thing! Why?!
Because rivals can push us through, so we can achieve our goals! They also reveal things that are hidden in our hearts!
If Hannah hadn’t Penina around her all the time, maybe she would settle in her hopeless situation. But instead, all the humiliations and provocations propelled her to a place of desperate faith in the Lord! She had to find strength and joy outside of her natural situation, laying all her hope and dreams on Him.
In another hand, we also have examples of bad waiting! People who were not so sure about the promises of God and tried to fix things in their own ways! Abraham was one of them: When the promise of a child was taken too long, he let his impatience take him to another direction, fathering a child of a woman that was not his wife.
Another example was David, that fled to Philistine because he was afraid that Saul would take his life. Because of that, he had to fight at the enemies’ side.
Waiting for God to will and act for us it is not an easy and always joyful journey. A lot of times, we get tired and discouraged; we are tempted to take things in our own hands! Extended languishing for what seems impossible is the perfect enviromment to loose our confidence in the Lord and act without wisdom or patience.
When time is uncertain and the waiting seems endless, that’s when we need to look at Jesus more than even, instead of looking to our hopeless circumstances! When doubts and frustration arises and God seems silent, we need to focus on what we know!
We know that God has good plans for us!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” Jeremiah 29:11
We know that He is faithful and sustain us:
“Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. 8 He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”
We know that when we are afraid, He encourages us along the way and lead us to victory:
“No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.” (Joshua 1)
We know that God never gives up. He finishes what He starts!
“being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”( Philipians 1:6)
We know that God take good care of those who fear Him:
“Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;, in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.” (Psalm 112:6-8)
Let’s take a deep breath and just seat at Jesus feet, when things get too crazy and overhelming! He can deal with our doubts and impatience, we just need to ask for His help!
I hope that encourages you to go to your daily battles with more confidence and a stronger faith in Lord’s faithfulness. We can do this!
“Meu coração exulta no Senhor; no Senhor minha força é exaltada. Minha boca se exalta sobre os meus inimigos, pois me alegro em tua libertação.

“O Senhor mata e preserva a vida; ele faz descer à sepultura e dela resgata. O Senhor é quem dá pobreza e riqueza; ele humilha e exalta. Levanta do pó o necessitado e do monte de cinzas ergue o pobre; ele os faz sentar-se com príncipes e lhes dá lugar de honra.
“Pois os alicerces da terra são do Senhor; sobre eles estabeleceu o mundo. Ele guardará os pés dos seus santos, mas os ímpios serão silenciados nas trevas, pois não é pela força que o homem prevalece. Aqueles que se opõem ao Senhor serão despedaçados. Ele trovejará do céu contra eles; o Senhor julgará até os confins da terra.” Ele dará poder a seu rei e exaltará a força do seu ungido”.
Ei amigo! Como você está?
Se você está familiarizado com a história de Ana, você já sabe o que quero compartilhar hoje! Sim, sobre esperar no Senhor!
Esta semana eu fiz um devocional com o tema “Esperando bem” e, como eu sei que cada um de nós tem esperanças e sonhos, que todos nós estamos esperando algo acontecer, achei que seria bom falar sobre isso!
Anna era uma mulher estéril que esperou muito tempo por um bebê! Durante esse processo, ela foi constantemente humilhada por sua rival, Penina, que era a outra esposa de seu marido, e que tinha filhos.
Acho que podemos nos identificar com alguns aspectos da história dela. Durante nossa jornada de espera, às vezes, as pessoas zombam de nós ou tentam nos desencorajar, testando nossa fé e tentando nos impedir de acreditar e esperar por um milagre!
No entanto, alguns rivais em nossa jornada podem ser uma coisa boa! Por quê?!
Porque os rivais podem nos empurrar na direção dos nossos objetivos. Além disso, eles também revelam coisas que estão escondidas no nosso coração!
Se Anna não tivesse Penina por perto o tempo todo, talvez ela tivesse se acomodado em sua situação desesperadora. Mas, em vez disso, todas as humilhações e provocações a impeliram a um lugar de fé desesperada no Senhor! Ela teve que encontrar força e alegria fora de sua situação natural, depositando todas as suas esperanças e sonhos Nele.
Por outro lado, também temos exemplos de uma má espera! Pessoas que não tinham tanta certeza sobre as promessas de Deus e tentaram consertar as coisas à sua maneira! Abraão foi um deles: quando a promessa de um filho demorou muito, ele deixou sua impaciência levá-lo a outra direção, sendo pai de outro filho, de uma mulher que não era sua esposa.
Outro exemplo foi Davi, que fugiu para a terra dos filisteus, porque temia que Saul o matasse. Por causa disso, ele teve que lutar ao lado dos inimigos.
Esperar que Deus queira e aja por nós não é uma jornada fácil ou sempre alegre. Muitas vezes, ficamos cansados e desanimados; somos tentados a resolver as coisas pelas nossas próprias mãos! A angústia prolongada pelo que parece impossível, é o ambiente perfeito para perder nossa confiança no Senhor e agir sem sabedoria ou paciência.
Quando o tempo é incerto e a espera parece interminável, é quando precisamos olhar para Jesus mais do que nunca, em vez de olhar para nossas circunstâncias desesperadoras! Quando surgem dúvidas e frustrações e Deus parece estar em silêncio, precisamos nos concentrar no que sabemos!
Sabemos que Deus tem bons planos para nós!
“Pois eu sei os planos que tenho para você”, declara o Senhor, “planos para prosperá-lo e não prejudicá-lo, planos para lhe dar esperança e um futuro. Então você me chamará e virá orar a mim, e eu te ouvirei. “Jeremias 29:11
Sabemos que Ele é fiel e nos sustenta:
“Portanto, não te falta nenhum dom espiritual enquanto espera ansiosamente que nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo seja revelado. 8 Ele também vai mantê-lo firme até o fim, para que você seja irrepreensível no dia de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. 9 Deus é fiel, que o chamou para a comunhão com seu Filho, Jesus Cristo nosso Senhor. “
Sabemos que quando temos medo, Ele nos encoraja ao longo do caminho e nos leva à vitória:
“Ninguém será capaz de se opor a você todos os dias de sua vida. Assim como estive com Moisés, estarei com você. Não te deixarei nem te desampararei. 6 Seja forte e corajoso, porque você levará esse povo a herdar a terra que jurei aos seus ancestrais dar a eles.” (Josué 1)
Sabemos que Deus nunca desiste. Ele termina o que começa!
“estando certo disso, que aquele que começou uma boa obra em você, a levará a cabo até o dia de Cristo Jesus.” (Filipenses 1: 6)
Sabemos que Deus cuida bem daqueles que o temem:
“Certamente os justos nunca serão fortemente abalados; eles serão lembrados para sempre. 7 Eles não terão medo de más notícias; seus corações estão constantes, confiando no Senhor. 8 Seus corações estão seguros, eles não terão medo; no final, eles olharão em triunfo para seus inimigos. ” (Salmo 112: 6-8)
Então, vamos respirar fundo e apenas nos sentar aos pés de Jesus, quando as coisas ficarem muito loucas e pesadas de suportar! Ele pode lidar com nossas dúvidas e impaciência, só precisamos pedir a Sua ajuda!
Espero que isso tenha te encorajado a ir para as suas batalhas diárias com mais confiança e uma fé mais forte na fidelidade do Senhor. Nós podemos fazer isso!
Passing through, just to remind you( and I) that God holds our lives together! Today, tomorrow and all the way, untill the end!
Today is a new chance, to make everything different! To make it better and enjoy the time we have.( ‘cause our days are just flying like the wind. Did you notice that?!)
Don’t worry about tomorrow, because our Father is already taking care of all our needs, we are important to Him!
Choose to praise Him, instead of worrying. That is what opens the way for us: A grateful heart and a peaceful mind!

Não se preocupe com o amanhã, o nosso Pai já cuidou de tudo. Nós somos importantes pra ele!
Escolha cantar ao invés de se preocupar, levante sua voz pra Ele! Isso é o que abre o nosso caminho: Um coração grato e paz de espírito.
