Where are the chains?!

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.” Mathew 6:34

“Hey there! All who are thirsty,
    come to the water!
Are you penniless?
    Come anyway—buy and eat!
Come, buy your drinks, buy wine and milk.
    Buy without money—everything’s free!
Why do you spend your money on junk food,
    your hard-earned cash on cotton candy?
Listen to me, listen well: Eat only the best,
    fill yourself with only the finest.
Pay attention, come close now,
    listen carefully to my life-giving, life-nourishing words.
I’m making a lasting covenant commitment with you,
    the same that I made with David: sure, solid, enduring love.
I set him up as a witness to the nations,
    made him a prince and leader of the nations,
And now I’m doing it to you:
    You’ll summon nations you’ve never heard of,
and nations who’ve never heard of you
    will come running to you
Because of me, your God,
    because The Holy of Israel has honored you.” Isaiah 55:1-5

” This is God’s Word on the subject: “As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. When you come looking for me, you’ll find me.” Jeremiah 29:11-14

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls! Hebrews 12:1-3

Thank God! Call out his Name!
    Tell the whole world who he is and what he’s done!
Sing to him! Play songs for him!
    Broadcast all his wonders!
Revel in his holy Name,
    God-seekers, be jubilant!
Study God and his strength,
    seek his presence day and night;
Remember all the wonders he performed,
    the miracles and judgments that came out of his mouth.
Seed of Israel his servant!
    Children of Jacob, his first choice!
He is God, our God;
    wherever you go you come on his judgments and decisions.
He keeps his commitments across thousands
    of generations, the covenant he commanded,
The same one he made with Abraham,
    the very one he swore to Isaac;
He posted it in big block letters to Jacob,
    this eternal covenant with Israel:
“I give you the land of Canaan,
    this is your inheritance;
Even though you’re not much to look at,
    a few straggling strangers.”(1 Chroncles 16: 8-19)

We will see the goodness of the Lord!

It seemed like a dream, too good to be true,
    when God returned Zion’s exiles.
We laughed, we sang,
    we couldn’t believe our good fortune.
We were the talk of the nations—
    “God was wonderful to them!”
God was wonderful to us;
    we are one happy people.

And now, God, do it again—
    bring rains to our drought-stricken lives
So those who planted their crops in despair
    will shout “Yes!” at the harvest,
So those who went off with heavy hearts
    will come hom
e laughing, with armloads of blessing.“(Psalm 126)

A new song for a new day!🎶

I waited and waited and waited some more, patiently,

knowing God would come through for me!

Then, at last, he bent down and listened to my cry.

He stooped down to lift me out of danger from the desolate pit I was in,

out of the muddy mess I had fallen into.

Now he’s lifted me up into a firm, secure place and steadied me

while I walk along his ascending path.

A new song for a new day rises up in me,

every time I think about how he breaks through for me!

Ecstatic praise pours out of my mouth

until everyone hears how God has set me free.

Many will see his miracles;

they’ll stand in awe of God and fall in love with him!

Blessing after blessing comes to those who love and trust the Lord.

They will not fall away, for they refuse to listen to the lies of the proud.

O Lord, our God, no one can compare with you.

Such wonderful works and miracles are all found with you!

And you think of us all the time

with your countless expressions of love,

far exceeding our expectations!

It’s not sacrifices that really move your heart.

Burnt offerings, sin offerings—those aren’t what bring you joy.

But when you open my ears and speak to me,

I become your willing servant, your prisoner of love for life.

So I said, “Here I am! I’m coming to you as a sacrifice,

for in the prophetic scrolls of your book you have written about me.

I delight to fulfill your will, my God,

for your living words are written upon the pages of my heart.”

I tell everyone everywhere the truth of your righteousness.

And you know I haven’t held back in telling the message to all.

I don’t keep it a secret or hide the truth.

I preach of your faithfulness and kindness,

proclaiming your extravagant love to the largest crowd I can find!

So Lord, don’t hold back your love or withhold your tender mercies from me.

Keep me in your truth and let your compassion overflow to me no matter what I face.

Evil surrounds me; problems greater than I can solve come one after another.

Without you, I know I can’t make it. My sins are so many!

I’m so ashamed to lift my face to you.

For my guilt grabs me and stings my soul until I am weakened and spent.

Please, Lord! Come quickly and rescue me!

Take pleasure in showing me your favor and restore me.

Let all who seek my life be humiliated!

Let them be confused and ashamed, God.

Scatter those who wish me evil; they just want me dead.

Scoff at every scoffer and cause them all to be utter failures.

Let them be ashamed and horrified by their complete defeat.

But let all who passionately seek you erupt with excitement

and joy over what you’ve done!

Let all your devoted lovers rejoice continually in the Savior,

saying, “How great and glorious is our God!”

Lord, in my place of weakness and need,

I ask again: Will you come and help me?

I know I’m always in your thoughts.

You are my true Savior and hero, so don’t delay to deliver me now,

for you are my God.” (Psalms 40:1‭-‬17 TPT)

Good music: a personal playlist!

(Music: a great way to connect with God!)

Hello there!

It’s funny how, one of my favorite things on earth, isn’t here yet!

So, today I wanna talk to you about one of my favorite ways to connect with God: Music!

I was always passionate about good music! This is what truly hits my soul in a deep way, that keeps my day going. Without music, I lose my rhythm!

When I became a christian, this was a BIG challenge in my life! I did not knew any good christian band and, for a while, I just kept my old playlist.

I always loved rock n roll so this was what I used to heard most of time.

One of my former favorite bands was Pink Floyd! (Its not anymore cause I found Bethel Music hahahah) and I used to think: “God I will never find something good like this!”

I thank Him cause, it was not true! lol. After a while searching, I found A LOT of good bands and christians musicians, and it totally changed my opinion about this kind of music.

Before I find these bands, I thought secular music was much better ( best produced, writed,best presented, etc) and christian music was light-years late of good music. But I was definitely wrong!

Without further delay, I want to share with you, in case you are struggling, like I was, to find good music, some of my favorites songs ( in the last months, cause it changes a lot lol).

The first band I discovered was Jesus Culture! What a amazing band!

They don’t just make good music, they reach our hearts! And plus, they minister the public among the songs with such a power! It’s totally insane. Here are some of my favorites concerts:

I can feel the Holy Spirit presence just by watching this! For real! Kim is amazing!
I really like Chirs Quilala! He knows how to reach us! And I just love the guitar riff in this song.
A classic from Jesus Culture. Old but gold!

Lets move on for the next music ministry that I truly love, for any time: Bethel Music:

This song really touched me cause God always tells me to be brave!
Jen Johnson is so talent! And this song is great for a reflection moment.
This amazing song is tottaly out of the box! I just love this
 Southern Rock touch, with heavy riffs! Just awesome!
Very good lyric! And I love the style of this song.
A soft playlist to listen while you meditate on the Word! I love it.

I also wanna present you , some of my favorites brazilian bands (cause I could not let my country out of this list! haha)

“Os arrais”. Very poetic in their lyrics, with deep reflections! I really enjoy it.
For those who like a “disco beat” but also with a rock touch! hahaha
And to close, since I love rock n roll, a great song from “Resgate” (“Rescue”). Enjoy it!

This is all for now, folks! I intend to bring you more tips like these in another post! And I hope you find your best way to connect with God’s heart.

He is always longing to spend a great time with you!

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
    I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and rejoice in you;
    I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.

Psalm 9: 1-2
