A life built on the Rock!

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Mathew 7:24-27

Hello there!

We are living in such time right now that, everything that can be shaken, will be shaken!

So what it means to have a life, or like Jeus said, a house built on the Rock?!

Well, today I was watching one of Joyce Mayer preachings and she said: “When you know who you are in Christ, you have confidence enough to not bother with another person’s success.”

I think that is one of the signs of having a life built on the rock: You trust more in what Jesus says about you, than what people may think or the circunstances that surrounds you!

If I can be really vulnerable here, I can say that one of the things I struggle with is insecurity!( am I capable enough?am I doing the right thing?!).

I need to constantly watch over my thoughts and feelings to be aware of wich lies I am believing about myself and then, boldly declares the truth of God over my identity!

-Have an identity built on the Rock means that, you are aware of your weaknesses and flaws, but you know that Jesus chose you and empowers you, no matter what you are going through or what you need to do, He enables you to overcome and grow with it!

So you are also aware of your strengths and weapons to walk in freedom and do His will!

We all have a calling on this life, we just need to choose to walk with the king!

Yesterday, during my church’s service, I heard God saying to me: You are my heir and you need to have more confidence to access all the power and authority I am giving to know, stoping doubting yourself!

We, as believers, are declared “sons and daughters of the king”, His heirs on this earth. However, we need to walk accordly to it to live in the fulness of our identity!

-Relationships built on the Rock: I don’t have much experience to talk about this topic, but what I can tell about it, is what I have seen in peoples lives: Sometimes we look to others and we took wrong conclusions about how strong their relationship are or not (talking about marriage).

Only a marriage (or any kind of relationship) built on a Rock can resist to the storms and bad winds of life!

I remember to look to some couples, that I thought they had a strong and stable relationship, admiring them. And then, suddenly, I found out that I was wrong! They were not able to resist any battle of a real daily life.

We see it all the time, at social media and around us: Marriages falling apart and, people that seemed so happy,living in strong relationships, exchanging a lifetime built for a bad choice, based on instant satisfaction(or because they are facing a bad season in their own relationship)!

Only relationships built on the Word of God can resist to the bad times of life, and we all gonna face hard times!

I could see it through my brother’s marriage, that even in the hardest situations, a marriage can (only)survive bad weather with the Presence and mercy of God, built through intimacy with Him!

Don’t be mistaken, even the “strongest” relationships can be shaken if it was not rooted in the truth of God’s Word!

We are not good and capable enough to fix things by ourselves, even more if we are based on the patterns of this world! We need to stick with God, all the time!

No matter how difficult things can be in your life, regarding family, finances, identity or relationships; If you are walking with God, seeking His face everyday, He will help you to go through it, believe me!

Prophesy your promise, every day, no matter how impossible it can be right now! Be resilient and trust in God’s timing, He got everything under control. The One who watchs over you never sleeps!

To finish it, I just want to encourage you: Keep pressing it! God knows what He is doing! He is building you up to be strong and confident in His love and power, no matter what happens.

And I can tell you: It is in our hardest and darkest moments that we experience the deepest mysteries of God’s love for us! Just keep walking on His Presence!

Uma vida construída sobre a Rocha!

Olá!

Estamos vivendo em uma época em que, tudo que pode ser abalado, será abalado!

Então, o que significa ter uma vida, ou como Jesus disse, uma casa construída na Rocha?!

Bem, hoje eu estava assistindo a uma das pregações de Joyce Meyer e ela disse: “Quando você sabe quem você é em Cristo, você tem confiança suficiente para não se incomodar com o sucesso de outra pessoa, você sabe qual é o seu lugar”

Acho que esse é um dos sinais de ter uma vida construída sobre a rocha: Você confia mais no que Jesus diz sobre você, do que no que as pessoas podem pensar ou nas circunstâncias que o cercam!

Se eu puder ser realmente vulnerável aqui, posso dizer que uma das coisas com a qual eu luto é a insegurança! (eu sou capaz o suficiente?Eu estou fazendo a coisa certa?!).

Preciso vigiar constantemente meus pensamentos e sentimentos, para estar ciente em quais mentiras estou acreditando sobre mim mesma e então, corajosamente, declarar a verdade de Deus sobre minha identidade!

– Ter uma identidade construída na Rocha significa que você está ciente de suas fraquezas e falhas, mas você sabe que Jesus te escolheu e te capacita, não importa o que você seja passando ou o que você precisa fazer. Ele te habilita a superar e a crescer com isso!

Então identidade firmada na Rocha também significa que você está ciente de suas forças e armas espirituais disponíveis para caminhar em liberdade e fazer a vontade Dele!

Todos nós temos um propósito nesta vida, só precisamos escolher caminhar com o rei!

Ontem, durante o culto em minha igreja, ouvi Deus me dizendo: Você é minha herdeira e precisa ter mais confiança para acessar todo o poder e autoridade que eu estou te dando, pare de duvidar de si mesma!

Nós, enquanto cristãos, somos declarados “filhos e filhas do rei”, Seus herdeiros nesta terra. No entanto, precisamos caminhar de acordo com isso para viver na plenitude da nossa identidade!

– Relacionamentos construídos na rocha: Eu não tenho muita experiência pessoal para falar sobre esse assunto, mas o que posso dizer sobre o que tenho visto na vida das pessoas ao meu redor é o seguinte: Às vezes olhamos para os outros e tiramos conclusões erradas sobre o quão forte é ou não o relacionamento deles(falando sobre casamento).

Somente um casamento(ou qualquer outro tipo de relacionamento) construído sobre a Rocha pode resistir às tempestades e aos ventos ruins da vida!

Lembro-me de olhar para alguns casais, que eu achava que tinham um relacionamento forte e estável, e admirá-los. E então, de repente, descobrir que eu estava enganada! Eles não foram capazes de resistir a nenhuma batalha da vida real.

Vemos isso o tempo todo, nas redes sociais e ao nosso redor: Casamentos desmoronando e, pessoas que pareciam tão felizes, com relacionamentos fortes, trocando um processo vitalício por uma má escolha, baseada na satisfação instantânea ( ou insatisfação momentânea com o próprio relacionamento)!

Somente os relacionamentos construídos na Palavra de Deus podem resistir aos tempos turbulentos da vida, e todos nós enfrentaremos tempos assim!

Pude ver através do casamento do meu irmão, que mesmo nas situações mais difíceis, um casamento (só)pode sobreviver ao mau tempo com a Presença e misericórdia de Deus, construída através da intimidade com Ele!

Não se engane, mesmo os relacionamentos “mais fortes” podem ser abalados se não forem fundamentados na verdade da Palavra de Deus e na confiança Nele, para nós manter de pé!

Não somos bons e capazes o suficiente para consertar as coisas por nós mesmos, ainda mais se formos nos basear nos padrões deste mundo para resolver as coisas! Precisamos estar com Deus o tempo todo!

Não importa o quão difíceis as coisas possam estar nesse momento, em relação à família, finanças, identidade ou relacionamentos, se você está caminhando com Deus, buscando Sua Presença todos os dias, Ele irá ajudá-lo a passar por isso, acredite em mim!

Profetize sua promessa, todos os dias, não importa o quão impossível possa ser agora! Seja resiliente e confie no tempo de Deus, Ele tem tudo sob controle. Aquele que cuida de você nunca dorme!

Para finalizar, só quero te encorajar mais uma vez: Continue pressionando na direção certa! Deus sabe o que está fazendo! Ele está construindo você para ser forte e confiante em Seu amor e poder, não importa o que aconteça.

E eu posso te dizer: É em nossos momentos mais difíceis e sombrios que experimentamos os mistérios mais profundos do amor de Deus por nós! Apenas continue andando em Sua Presença!
