“Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[d] says the Lord. 20 On the contrary:
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”[e]
Hey friends! How are you doing?!
What a tough task the bible gives us,right?! This is what God expects from His children: That we do not repay the evil and try to live in PEACE with everybody, as far as it depends on us!
By experience, I can tell that is the one of the most difficult tasks I always had to face! Be humble and gentle can be hard and sometimes, it really seems impossible to do!
However, when we realize that NOTHING can separate us from the love of God(except for ourselves), we understand that no matter how perverse and unfair people can be to us; The plans and blessing of God for our lives still remains!
That is why God says: “It is mine the revenge, I will repay”. It is a big mistake try to do justice with our own hands!
First, because we don’t have the right concept of justice, we just think we do! Our perceptions are always influenced by external factors and internal wounds! We can’t trust in our own justice!
Second, we don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow, or in 10 years from now! But what we (should) know is that every decision, every action we take today, will resonate in the future! And that means we are going to regret some of the hasty decisions we made.
I’ve experienced a lot of situations in my life where I received unfair treatment! And in many times, I also tried to make justice with my own hands. It’s never worth it! The winds changes, our perspectives changes and, very often, we realize that we made a mistake, cause we were not seing clearly!
No matter how hard can be to wait on God’s justice, this is the best thing we can do! He knows the whole picture, He knows every intention inside of human’s heart! Be patient and wait for His deliverance!
He is never late!
“Therefore wait for me,”
declares the Lord,
“for the day I will stand up to testify.(…)
‘Sing, Daughter Zion;
shout aloud, Israel!
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart,
Daughter Jerusalem!
The Lord has taken away your punishment,
he has turned back your enemy.
The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you;
never again will you fear any harm.” (Zephaniah 3)

COMO LIDAR COM O TRATAMENTO INJUSTO?!
“Não retribuam a ninguém mal por mal. Procurem fazer o que é correto aos olhos de todos.
Façam todo o possível para viver em paz com todos.
Amados, nunca procurem vingar-se, mas deixem com Deus a ira, pois está escrito: “Minha é a vingança; eu retribuirei”, diz o Senhor.
Pelo contrário: “Se o seu inimigo tiver fome, dê-lhe de comer; se tiver sede, dê-lhe de beber. Fazendo isso, você amontoará brasas vivas sobre a cabeça dele”. Romanos 12:17-20
Olá pessoal!
Que tarefa difícil a Bíblia nos dá, né?! Isso é o que Deus espera de Seus filhos: Que nós não retribuamos o mal e tentemos viver em PAZ com todos, na medida em que isso depender de nós!
Por experiência, posso dizer que essa é uma das tarefas mais difíceis que já tive que enfrentar! Ser humilde e gentil pode ser difícil e, às vezes, parece realmente impossível!
No entanto, quando percebemos que NADA nada pode nos separar do amor de Deus (exceto nós mesmos), entendemos que não importa o quanto as pessoas sejam perversas e injustas conosco; Os planos e bênçãos de Deus para nossas vidas ainda permanecem os mesmos!
Por isso Deus diz: “É minha a vingança, eu retribuirei”. É um grande erro tentar fazer justiça com nossas próprias mãos!
Primeiro, porque não temos o conceito correto de justiça, apenas pensamos que sim! Nossas percepções são sempre influenciadas por fatores externos e feridas internas! Não podemos confiar no nosso senso de justiça!
Segundo, não sabemos o que vai acontecer amanhã ou em 10 anos! Mas o que nós (deveríamos) saber é que toda decisão, toda ação que tomamos hoje, ressoará no futuro! E isso significa que vamos nos arrepender de algumas dessas decisões precipitadas que tomamos.
Passei por muitas situações na minha vida em que recebi tratamento injusto! E também tentei fazer “justiça” em muitas delas. Nunca funciona! Os ventos mudam, nossas perspectivas mudam e percebemos que cometemos um erro, porque não estávamos vendo claramente!
Não importa o quão difícil possa ser esperar pela justiça de Deus, esta é a melhor coisa que podemos fazer! Ele enxerga toda a situação e conhece todas as intenções do coração humano! Seja paciente e aguarde por Sua libertação!
Ele nunca se atrasa!
“Portanto, espere por mim”
declara o Senhor,
“Para o dia em que me levantarei para testemunhar. (…)
