Hello friends! How are you doing?
Today I want to share some really important reasons why we, the chosen ones of God, should PRAY ALL THE TIME, in every situation of our lives!
Did you ever heard about spiritual warfare? Do you believe it is real?
Well, the Scriptures tells us about that a lot of times, so if you believe in the bible, you should know that spiritual battles are real! ( And happens all the time!)
I am part of a ministry in the biggest center of prostitution in Latin America, we work through a House of prayer there( Páginas Novas)! It is a place of great demonic opression and constantly warfare.
However, God chosen that place to work through His saints in prayer and evangelism to reach those boys and girls, who are under the influence of the enemy, and we have seen a lot of God’s grace and favor there.
So, I had to learn really fast how important is to have a lifestyle of prayer. Not only that, but also a life with a close relationship with God, fasting and reading His word, to really understand how He works and why should I pray all the time!
In Daniel 10:13-14, a angel of God was sent to him and told him about a sipiritual warfare that happpened while he was fasting and praying:
“Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. 13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. 14 Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”
That makes pretty clear to us how prayer is important and affect the spiritual realms in favor of the saints of God!
That is the first reason we should pray for the will of God be done in every situation: Prayer moves the heavenly Army of God!
Second reason: When we pray, according to the will of God, our character is built! In Philippians 4:6-7 Paul advises:
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.“
That means we can exchange our anxiety for peace and a troubled mind for a mind and heart that is guarded in Jesus! Our prayer releases us from the burden of anxiety and doubt.
It is also important to know HOW we should pray: Jesus taught his disciples to pray for God’s will be done! And how can we know what is the God’s will?
We have a great sort of material about God’s will in the bible!
So, the third reason we should pray is to learn what is the will of God to us and declare it! If you always use your bible to pray, you will never miss the point!
Another thing that Jesus taught us is to be persistent! God has His own time and way to do things, but we need to keep asking Him for His promises!
“Ask, and what you are asking for will be given to you. Look, and what you are looking for you will find. Knock, and the door you are knocking on will be opened to you. 8 Everyone who asks receives what he asks for. Everyone who looks finds what he is looking for. Everyone who knocks has the door opened to him” Mathew 7:7-8
And finally, the last reason(for now) why we should practice the power of prayer is what Paul reveals to us in Ephesians 6: We are in war and the word of God is our sword!
“12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”
“17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
I hope that your life of prayer be increased by the Word of God and make you grow in intimacy wih Him, the Prince of peace!

This was one of the best christian books I ever read and helped me a lot to trust more in the power of prayer!

Hoje, quero compartilhar algumas razões realmente importantes pelas quais nós, os escolhidos de Deus, devemos orar o tempo todo, em todas as situações de nossas vidas!
Você já ouviu falar sobre guerra espiritual? Você acredita que é real?
Bem, as Escrituras nos falam sobre isso muitas vezes; portanto, se você acredita na Bíblia, deve saber que as batalhas espirituais são reais! (E acontecem o tempo todo!)
Eu faço parte de um ministério que fica no maior centro de prostituição da América Latina, trabalhamos através de uma casa de oração lá (chamado Páginas Novas)!
O Jd Itatinga, em Campinas,é um lugar de grande opressão demoníaca; No entanto, Deus escolheu aquele lugar para trabalhar através de Seus santos em oração e evangelismo para alcançar aqueles meninos e meninas que estão sob a influência do inimigo, e nós temos visto a gloriosa graça e favor de Deus naquele lugar!.
Graças a essa oportunidade, eu tive que aprender muito rápido o quanto é importante ter um estilo de vida de oração. Não apenas isso, mas também uma vida com um relacionamento íntimo com Deus, através do jejum e da leitura da Palavra, para entender melhor como Ele trabalha e por que devo orar o tempo todo!
Em Daniel 10: 13-14, um anjo de Deus foi enviado a ele e contou-lhe sobre uma guerra Espiritual que aconteceu enquanto ele jejuava e orava:
“ Então ele continuou:” Não tenha medo, Daniel. Desde o primeiro dia em que você se propôs a ganhar entendimento e se humilhar diante de seu Deus, suas palavras foram ouvidas e eu recebi uma resposta. 13 – Mas o príncipe do reino persa resistiu a mim por vinte e um dias.Então, Miguel, um dos principais príncipes, veio me ajudar, porque eu estava detido lá com o rei da Pérsia. 14 Agora vim explicar a você o que acontecerá com seu pessoal no futuro, pois a visão diz respeito a um tempo ainda por vir. ”
Isso deixa bem claro para nós como a oração é importante e afeta os reinos espirituais em favor dos santos de Deus!
Essa é a primeira razão pela qual devemos orar para que a vontade de Deus seja feita em todas as situações! Pois ela move os Exércitos celestiais!
Segunda razão: Quando oramos, de acordo com a vontade de Deus, nosso caráter é construído! Em Filipenses 4: 6-7, Paulo aconselha:
“ Não se preocupe com nada, mas em todas as situações, por oração e petição, com ação de graças, apresente seus pedidos a Deus. 7 E a paz de Deus, que transcende tudo entendimento, guardará seus corações e suas mentes em Cristo Jesus. “
Isso significa que podemos trocar nossa ansiedade pela paz e uma mente perturbada por uma mente e coração guardados em Jesus! Nossa oração nos liberta do fardo da ansiedade e da dúvida.
Também é importante saber como devemos orar: Jesus ensinou seus discípulos a orar pela vontade de Deus! E como podemos saber qual é a vontade de Deus?
Temos uma grande quantidade de material sobre a vontade de Deus na Bíblia!
Então, a terceira razão pela qual devemos orar é para aprender qual é a vontade de Deus para nós e declará-la! Se você sempre usa sua Bíblia para orar, nunca vai errar o alvo!
Outra coisa que Jesus nos ensinou é ser persistente! Deus tem seu próprio tempo e maneira de fazer as coisas, mas precisamos continuar pedindo por Suas promessas!
“ Peça, e o que você está pedindo será dado a você. Procure, e o que você está procurando, encontrará. Bata e a porta em que você está batendo será aberta para você. 8 Todo aquele que pede, recebe. Todo aquele que procura encontra o que está procurando. Todo aquele que bate, a porta lhe será aberta “ Mateus 7: 7-8
E, finalmente, outra coisa que devemos saber sobre o poder oração é o que Paulo nos revela em Efésios 6: Estamos em guerra e a palavra de Deus é a nossa espada!
“ 12 Pois nossa luta não é contra carne e sangue, mas contra os governantes, contra as autoridades, contra os poderes deste mundo sombrio e contra as forças espirituais do mal nos reinos celestiais. 13 armadura completa de Deus, para que, quando chegar o dia do mal, você possa permanecer firme e, depois de ter feito tudo, permanecer firme. “
“17 Pegue o capacete da salvação e a espada do Espírito, que é a palavra de Deus.”
Eu espero que sua vida em oração seja potencializada pela palavra de Deus e faça você crescer em intimidade com Ele, o Príncipe da paz!
