Have you ever dreamed about a love like this?

One of these days, I was reading my bible and I was amazed with this parable about the love of God and how He see us! Check it out:

This is what the Sovereign Lord says to Jerusalem: Your ancestry and birth were in the land of the Canaanites; your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite.

4 On the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water to make you clean, nor were you rubbed with salt or wrapped in cloths. No one looked on you with pity or had compassion enough to do any of these things for you. Rather, you were thrown out into the open field, for on the day you were born you were despised.

‘Then I passed by and saw you kicking about in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, “Live!” I made you grow like a plant of the field. You grew and developed and entered puberty. Your breasts had formed and your hair had grown, yet you were stark naked.

8 “‘Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.

‘I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments on you. 10 I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen and covered you with costly garments. 11 I adorned you with jewelry: I put bracelets on your arms and a necklace around your neck, 12 and I put a ring on your nose, earrings on your ears and a beautiful crown on your head.

13 So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen.

14 And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign Lord!”

God saw us in trouble, lost and despised. He took us under His wings and treat us like a beloved princess, a royal bride. Who never wanted to experience a love story like that? I don’t know about you, but I certainly did.

The parable does not end here, but I, intentionally, wanted to cut it here because the truth is: After all that God have done for us, we STILL chose to make the wrong choices and basing our lives in momentary satisfaction and fleeting desires!

The GOOD NEWS IS: He is willing to gave us a second chance to chose LOVE over selfish desires. That why He sends us His only son in flesh to teach us how we could live based on His amazing love!

So in Ezekiel 16:59 He continues: “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will deal with you as you deserve, because you have despised my oath by breaking the covenant. 60 Yet I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you

and also in Ezekiel 36:26 :”  I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. 28 Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God.”

This new chance or new covenant as the bible calls, came to us through the life, death and resurrection of Christ!

He is the payment for our sins and mistakes, so in Him our relationship with God is re-established and our sins forgiven!

” Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is writte “For your sake we face death all day long;we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:34-37

How amazing is that?

Because of Him, there is no accusation, no guilt or mistake that can makes us apart from the wild and great Love of God!

Rejoice on that, people of the earth!
